“LIttle Yuteng, when you put it that way, you mean martialapprentices, martial scholars, martial masters, martial spiritualists, martialkings, martial emperors, and martial monarchs are all low-level cultivators?”
“You can say that, martial apprentices, martial scholars, martial masters, martial spiritualists, martial kings, martial emperors, andmartial monarchs are all low-level cultivators; martial celestials, martialsaints, martial spirits, martial monarchs, and martial gods are mid-levelcultivators; and godly forefathers, godly supremacists, godly monarchs, godlychannels are apex-level cultivators.”
“Any superior being or immortal cultivators?” Suddenly ChengXiao Xiao thought about cultivators that went beyond human capabilities.
“That I am not sure just yet. This is all I know for now!”
“That’s alright, those were too far away anyway. Knowing orwhat wouldn’t make any differences.”
“Yes, you are right, Young Mistress!”
When Cheng Xiao Xiao was communicating with little Yutengtelepathically, Mo Xuanzun had also gone on to explain why mystical device aredivided into three different levels. Mainly the difference lies with thecreator of the device. As the creator fall into different levels, as do thedevices that they create. The more powerful creators will, naturally, createmore powerful devices.
As the current company had never have any contacts with any ofthe device makers, nor did they have any chance of becoming one themselves, they were not too interested in the subject and did not pursue about thedifferent levels of device makers.
“If we want to set up chained arrangements, we will need alarge quantity of mystical devices. Ideally, we can have sacred devices as thebackbone or, at the very minimum, a high-level device. These will be difficultto find on the open market, so we will need to make a trip to AlchemistValley.”
Mo Xuanzun turned and said to the person next to him, “XiaoXiao, after shi fu and shi mu had visited, we will head to AlchemistValley. I trust that they will do us good will and let us purchase a fewexpensive items.”
“Okay! That sounds good!”
Cheng Xiao Xiao agreed to his suggestion. Suddenly, after aslight pause, she asked excitedly, “Did you say your shi fu and shimu will be visiting?”
“Yes, Xiao Xiao. I have asked them to make a trip here tofinalized our betrothal!” Mo Xuanzun nodded with a big smile. “They should bearriving in the next few days.”
“How come I didn’t know about it?” Cheng Xiao Xiao wasn’t toopleased about being kept in the dark.
“Alright, Xiao Xiao, you don’t need to concern yourself aboutthat!” Cheng Biyuan didn’t want his daughter to make a fuss so he quicklychanged the subject and said, “We planned to build a Count’s Court in Qing’anProvince. Xiao Xiao, you have any thoughts?”
Cheng Xiao Xiao was a bit surprised. She hadn’t thought aboutit before but it made sense. Her dad had earned the title of Count Zhongyuanfor a few months already and every time he went to take care of business, heeither stayed in an inn or the government structure. That was not an ideallong-term solution.
Not to mention that during festivity seasons, he would need tohost other nobles. He couldn’t possibly invite them all over the currentCheng’s house.
“If that’s what we need, then let’s get started. It wasn’tlike we can’t afford it.”
Smiling bitterly, Zhou Jinjiang chimed in, “Xiao Xiao, youdon’t run the family so you don’t know the half of it. Who said we haveunlimited amount of money? We don’t currently have a lot of income coming in,yet there are so many things we need to spend money on!”
This was when it occurred to Cheng Xiao Xiao that even thoughshe had made a ton at the auction, but mainly they were trading for mysticalstones. With the exception of the tribute that they had received a few monthsago, this family didn’t really have a steady source of income…..
