Chapter 661: Abyssal Titan (Part 2)
Chapter 661: Chapter 661: Abyssal Titan (Part 2)
"It’s actually the Tidal Sprite King!"
Leading a thousand demon-hunting sorcerers and over ten thousand soul slave monsters, Green found the massive energy source they sensed, only to discover that it was not one of the Elemental Precipitation Stigmata Sorcerers or the Wither Tower Stigmata Sorcerers, but the Tidal Sprite King!
The immense octopus mount of the Tidal Sprite King, with countless tentacles, was tightly wrapped and suctioned to the belly of a deep sea giant whale. However, compared to the few hundred meters of the giant whale’s physique, the giant octopus mount of the Tidal Sprite King was evidently much smaller, unable to effectively suppress this opponent.
Under the Face of Truth’s ultrasonic positioning perception, Green roughly discerned the state of this small battlefield.
Aside from the strange and fierce bloodthirsty beasts that had ambushed from the dark depths of the sea, there were also some extraordinarily large super bloodthirsty beast monsters among the Tidal Giants. By the turbulence and ripples from the deep sea giant whale entangled with the Tidal Sprite King’s mount, there must be no less than ten of them.
However, due to the vastness of this battlefield, Green could only barely sense a part of it through ultrasonic positioning witchcraft.
These behemoths, due to their cumbersome forms, might not be able to cause much damage to creatures of the same rank but could often lay waste to smaller beings with an overwhelming, irresistible manner.
Rumble...
Suddenly, a behemoth rolled over towards Green, originally knocked flying by a distant strike from the Tidal Sprite King wielding a spear, easily sending the hundreds of meters large bloodthirsty beast flying.
Although the Tidal Sprite King’s body was merely one meter tall, as the World Master, these massive yet clumsy creatures couldn’t resist. With reckless abandon, the small spear stirred endless sea currents around its body, releasing boundless ocean energy.
But these behemoths were so immensely tough-skinned that even the World Master found it difficult to kill them quickly.
"Disperse!"
The Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab carried Green away from the enormous beast sent flying by the Tidal Sprite King, but the massive Soul Slave Legion and demon-hunting sorcerers following Green weren’t as quick to react. Some soul slave monsters flying with wings clumsily in the water were hit by the brute force carried by the Tidal Sprite King, suffering injuries.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...
The Tidal Sprite King was unstoppable, and even though one massive bloodthirsty beast after another was swallowed, they were all slammed away by the Tidal Sprite King with unmatchable might.
The behemoths that were knocked flying seemed momentarily dazed by a slap from the Tidal Sprite King, spiraling as they flew backward, coming to their senses only after a long while, somewhat bewildered.
Roar!
On Green’s side, the massive bloodthirsty beast slapped dizzy by the Tidal Sprite King was now awakening in the midst of surrounding demon-hunting sorcerers and soul slaves, immediately erupting in raging fury, twisting its giant body to churn the surrounding waves before opening its massive maw to devour.
"Hmph!"
The many demon-hunting sorcerers beside Green all let out a cold snort. As elite sorcerers of slaughter and arcane wizards, how did a mere creature not advanced to World Master stand a chance, no matter its massive size?
Sorcerers have once slaughtered even larger beings from other worlds!
After coldly snorting, a demon-hunting sorcerer used elemental teleport to appear beside the rampaging bloodthirsty beast, igniting a blazing flame with his right hand in the water—the crimson flame astonishingly not repelling the seawater but integrating perfectly.
Then, the flame transformed into a ten-meter giant hand, which, with a savage and ferocious expression from the demon-hunting sorcerer, fiercely slapped downward.
Sizzle...
The immense bloodthirsty beast felt a painful charring sensation, which might not mean much to its massive body, but it was just one of many demon-hunting sorcerers attacking.
The overwhelming waves roared, and this deep-sea giant beast faced the crisis of death by a thousand bites!
Crackle!
Suddenly, under a menacing pressure, light twisted from all directions, and a sorcerer’s silhouette shot towards the immense bloodthirsty beast’s body, piercing its proud, thick skin like paper before the black electric arc.
"Gah gah gah, Little Wan, follow your slaughter instincts** and charge!"
Xiao Ba led the Enigmatic Thousand Head Serpent, along with many soul slave monsters, rushing towards the breaches created by the demon-hunting sorcerers, biting and expanding the wounds.
Green’s black electric arc attack obliterated a five-meter area of the massive bloodthirsty beast’s flesh and skin, with a cut surface smoother than a mirror. Among the swarming slave monsters, the Enigmatic Thousand-Headed Bird’s dozen heads shrieked and bit down.
Green deliberately observed, gazing through the Face of Truth.
Hmm?
The Enigmatic Myriad-Headed Bird was in its nascent stage, still needing Green’s repeated refinements in the corpse synthesis array for life evolution, as it wasn’t a complete life form.
Yet Green noticed that this First Level Myriad-Headed Bird already displayed astonishing potential; each head bit into the bloodthirsty beast’s skin, turning its desperately healing flesh necrotic.
This was the Myriad-Headed Bird’s inherent ability from birth.
When it grew its tenth head decades ago, it acquired a super regeneration ability, healing body wounds and regrowing heads almost instantly by consuming stored high-level energy. Even Green was amazed initially, researching the phenomenon before concluding it was a result of mixed energies from multiple heads generating a high-level energy reaction.
Thus, it’s presumed that when the Myriad-Headed Bird grows a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand heads, each might develop a new ability.
Thousands of slave monsters swarmed over the massive bloodthirsty beast’s body, showcasing their brutal and ferocious nature. Just moments later, the massive deep-sea bloodthirsty beast ceased its struggles and softened.
The demon-hunting sorcerers handled a bloodthirsty beast so quickly, in stark contrast to the situation with the Tidal Giants!
Wielding spears, anchors, and other weapons, the Tidal Giants sustaining damage while attempting to approach the rampaging beasts created utter chaos—a predicament even the Tidal Sprite King had no good solutions for.
