A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 935: Chapter 927: Calamity of the Wizards (7)

The Underworlders, according to Green’s understanding of this world’s chaos projection rules, might have evolved from earthworms before the apocalypse of this chaotic world.

Soft bodies, strong toughness, limb regeneration ability, self-division capability.

"Ah..."

"Invasion of the devils..."

The sound of explosions, "Boom," "Boom," "Boom," "Boom," "Boom," endlessly reverberated. Whether it was Youquan or Agrimond, both Body Refining Sorcerers had fought to the peak through battles, viewing life-and-death slaughter as part of their life journey, showing no mercy when killing these humble and weak creatures.

After more than half an hourglass’s time.

Standing before a vast mountain of corpses, Youquan and Agrimond looked at Green and Severnese, who were studying the specimens of Underworlders.

"Are we not continuing?"

Severnese flicked Elemental Force across his hands to cleanse himself, then stood and recorded the biological information he had obtained in a notebook.

Amazingly, the notebook emitted a constant delightful ’moan’ as Severnese recorded with Magic Runes, a peculiarity that could be due to the unique material of this otherworldy notebook or perhaps Severnese’s personal eccentric taste.

In contrast, Green preferred to memorize the biological information and later document it in a quiet environment.

"These Underworlders, as one of the three major intelligent biological tribes of the post-apocalyptic world, are capable of communicating with the Dark Night World. Within their tribe, there should be a group of Third-Level Creatures, and at least one or two special evolved beings or some unique methods."

Green seemed somewhat anticipative.

Buzz...

At this moment, a peculiar energy fluctuation emanated from deep within this vast underground space. Everyone present easily discerned it as the time-space fluctuation of an alien projection desent.

"Gah-gah-gah-gah, it seems these Underworlders are summoning their master. Quite a commotion, echoing from so far away, let’s go check it out!"

Xiao Ba craned his neck forward, but apart from the area illuminated by a few Stigma Sorcerers’ Element Light, the expansive and empty distance seemed pitch-black with nothing visible.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

Four Stigma Sorcerers shot towards the source of the fluctuation in the distance. The Underworlders, having long sensed the presence of several terrifying creature fluctuations within the underground space, trembled uncontrollably under the pervasive pressure that lingered over the entire Underground World, akin to prey encountering a predator.

A moment later.

"Hmph, so many of them, yet unable to easily activate their True Body here. We should’ve brought the Slave Legion along; it would’ve spared us from having to personally intervene."

Youquan complained, glaring at Agrimond, who insisted it was unnecessary to lead the Slave Legion.

Ahead, a fortress belonging to the Underworlders appeared, the walls crowded with innumerable Underworlders. Besides the several hundred massive Stone Ghost Giants standing before the fortress, there seemed to be some methods not native to this world, those powdery substances hidden in the dark mist which Green easily identified.

"Let’s bypass it; we’re only here to confirm information about the Dark Night World. If it truly is the world of my old friends, the benefits we can easily obtain from there would suffice for our journey."

Agrimond appeared indifferent.

"Bypass it!?"

Severnese was quite displeased with Agrimond’s choice of words, a cold sneer across his pale face.

"Merely a low-grade native fortress. You, accustomed to savage violence, have forgotten the artistry of Elemental Wizards. Oblivion Tower, let us handle it this time."

"Haha, alright!"

Green readily agreed, eager to see this transformational technique of Severnese!

It was evident Severnese also had the same intentions, inviting Green to join him.

After a rough estimation of his own magic power, Green performed some calculations, then chanted obscure esoteric incantations. With his Magic Wand in hand, the magic surged through the staff’s body and into his own, as Green chose to activate the True Demon Body, evolving his spiritual power to 450 points!

Green evidently was going all out within his capabilities.

"Gah? Young master, I’ve never seen you use this move..."

Green’s Truth Mask revealed a diamond-shaped glint floating from his forehead, and under Green’s absolute control of Elemental Force, it merged into the extreme abyss magic staff’s head. The extreme cold crystal atop the staff seemed to receive a substantial boon, exuding astonishing vapor!

Green wielded the most powerful large-scale destructive elemental witchcraft, the Starfall Obliteration Great Sorcery. Due to his magic power consumption via the Space-Time Sealing Technique, its full potential couldn’t be unleashed.

If he were to exhaust all his magic power for this covert comparison, it would indeed be unwise.

Thus, Green had a sudden inspiration and improvised this large-scale destructive Ice Element Witchcraft. Since for Stigma Sorcerers, any elemental disturbances caused by their every move were large-scale witchcraft compared to lower-grade sorcerers!

"Ice Age Descent Spell!"

Green surprisingly took Mili’s Ice Age Seal Technique as a model, using his extreme abyss magic staff’s cold force, amplified by Ice Marrow Crystal, and evolving it based on the Ice Gyro element structure to form this Great Sorcery.

Suddenly, extreme cold stirred the Elemental Force, and thousands upon thousands of ice gyros, each the size of a head, descended upon the fortress like snowflakes, creating an apocalyptic freeze!

For Stigma Sorcerers, their mastery of witchcraft and the absolute control over elements had already begun transitioning towards manipulating vast natural laws, distinctly differing from the individual witchcraft levels of low-grade sorcerers.

"Heh-heh-heh-heh, be destroyed in the cold..."

Meanwhile.

Severnese also raised his Magic Wand, yet did not employ his all-encompassing Great Sorcery but instead delineated mysterious runes with his fingers, which sank into the ground like musical notes, echoing with a clear and endless sound.

This was utilizing a particular elemental micro-conductivity to leverage certain geological plate rules, invoking large-scale geological disasters?

Such an exquisite witchcraft!

Compared to Green’s witchcraft at that moment, the witchcraft exhibited by Severnese undeniably embodied more of the Elemental Wizard’s "artistry," magnifying the core power of sorcerers manipulating rules through wisdom!

Rumble rumble...

The fortress of the ground enemies, already covered relentlessly by countless exploding ice gyros, along with the Underworlders, Stone Ghost Giants, and certain secret powders floating in the relic’s air, appeared as vivid ice specimens, but in the next moment, volcanic lava erupted from geological layers, turning the entire base into a volcanic crater!

This fortress, comparable to the Evolutionary M Base in scale, initially spared some Underworlders lurking in the deep beneath the fortress, but under this volcanic force, they were all annihilated.

"Elemental Wizards..."

Gazing unblinkingly at the massive natural disasters triggered by Green and Severnese from afar, Youquan and Agrimond murmured, seemingly dazed. In an instant, over a hundred thousand Underworlders were completely slaughtered, their rate of killing starkly more superior!

Even further away, some Underworlders responsible for reconnaissance covertly overseeing this catastrophe had their hearts nearly shattered with fear, desperately panting as they fled to escape with all their might.
