"How could we have matched against the Azuresea Divine Continent in the first round!"

When the numerous squads from the sage colleges saw their opponents, their expressions turned ugly. Even Wang Xu and Chen Chi had unsettled expressions, smiling bitterly.

"Vice Principal Guo's luck is a little too bad," Cao Sheng said helplessly.

The Azuresea Divine Continent's overall strength was second only to the Thunderflame Divine Continent with their three upper sixth-grade Dukes. Most noteworthy was Shui Baoping, who sat at the absolute peak of that stage, an incredibly difficult opponent.

"It looks like we might fall into the losers bracket now." Mi Er sighed. Once they entered the losers bracket, they could only compete for two Heavenly Domains. This meant that the East Divine Continent's rewards would be meagre.

"No matter who the opponent is, we'll have to fight before we know the result." Chi Chan, who was never depressed, consoled them. Alas, her words didn't do much to allay the people's concerns. After all, the excited atmosphere of the group had greatly soured.

With that, he flicked his sleeve and returned to the East Divine Continent's platform.

Although he had put up a tough front, his lack of a response also showed his true thoughts. With the Azuresea Divine Continent's strength, it was extremely unlucky to have met them in the first round. Shui Baoping pouted as she watched Guo Jiufeng leave.

The East Divine Continent wasn't at the bottom Amongst the six outer divine continents, but historically, they had always been in the bottom three. Their previous fights had always led to them being on the losing side without exception as well.

He then looked at Li Luo with a smile. "This is your first time participating, Mentor Li Luo, so you aren't clear on what the Domain Traversal Platforms are. Simply speaking, they are minor worlds created by the Celestial Mirror Pagoda."

Guo Jiufeng waved his sleeves, and resonant power flowed out, directly transforming into a minor world filled with mountains, lakes, and complex terrains.

When Li Luo saw this, he could see that within this minor world were several stone pillars that arose from the ground. The top of these pillars were extremely spacious.

Li Luo was a little surprised by this. After defeating the opponents and occupying a Domain Traversal Platform, they would be able to wield a portion of the worldly natural energy in the minor world to support the rest of the team. This allowed the sage colleges with weaker lineups to contribute in their own way. The smaller Domain Traversal Platforms were then left to the other squads to fight over. The Sacred Summit Sage College's vice principal was a man named Zheng Chu. He was a middle-aged man with a burly figure and was built like a tower made of iron. He was a lower sixth-grade Duke and wasn't confident that he could hold Yan Feng back. Thus, he was a little hesitant.
