Chapter 1825: Creating the Absolute Resonance Seed

As the starry sky shook due to the collisions of terrifying Divine Fruit Authorities, the stars that lined it were also on the verge of collapsing.

The sect protection formation had roused the slumbering marks left behind by the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's Heavenly Emperors, provoking a boundless deluge of the power of Authority that resisted the attacks from the current era's Heavenly Emperors. Li Luo stared intently at the floating spatial fog resonance. It was not moving at all, but it emanated indescribable undulations of power. Even the power of Divine Fruit Authority dimmed in comparison to it. This was the power of the quasi tenth-grade.

Li Luo could sense that the spatial fog resonance possessed its own sentience. It was akin to a wise sage, quietly observing him in return. It seemed to look at him with curiosity and also scrutiny. It wanted to know just how Li Luo, someone who had lost the Absolute Resonance Seed, would attempt to harness its power. As he pondered silently, his eyes were filled with a deep thoughtfulness, like a bottomless pool without the slightest ripple. It was almost as though he had turned into a stone statue.

The crisp sound of running water suddenly rang out within his body, and vast amounts of water resonant power surged. Soon, an endless river flowed in the void behind him. The flowing water seemed to contain a sense of yearning, as though it did not wish to leave him. This was because Li Luo's final Water resonance was now on the verge of dissipating.

Li Luo stretched his hand out, causing the water to condense within his palm, eventually transforming into a dark blue droplet. The droplet reflected his face, but a different expression could be seen on it when compared to his own. It was as though there were two of him facing each other.

When Li Luo looked at the familiar visage in the droplet, he softly said, "Goodbye."

This was his final farewell to the resonance that had accompanied him the longest. The bond was completely severed at that moment. The handsome face within the water droplet revealed a smile of its own as it waved goodbye. It then faded away, and the dark blue water droplet swiftly evaporated. In just a few breaths of time, it had vanished completely.

Li Luo's aura began to weaken drastically. All of the resonances in his body had dissipated at this point. His long, grayish-white hair fluttered like a candle flame in the wind, his own life force also rapidly dwindling away.

However, his eyes became even brighter, akin to a star. This was because at the instant his final resonance disappeared and his cultivation level began to recede, he felt as though all of his burdens had finally been placed down. There was a magical sort of relief that bloomed from the very depths of his soul. In his mind, it was as though countless spiritual lights were flickering and colliding with each other.

Numerous ancient and obscure characters were starting to take shape in his mind. Upon closer inspection, they were none other than the characters that made up the Acquired Resonance Godly Forging Art and the Greater Acquired Resonance Godly Forging Art. His acquired resonances had all been forged with those two secret arts.

It was only today that the two arts began to fuse together in his mind. As he observed the process, he felt enlightenment dawn on him. The Absolute Resonance Seed within him in the past had ultimately belonged to the Sect Master and was never truly his. Since it was never his, losing it was not something he ought to lament over. Thus, he understood what he had to do now.

As Li Luo's aura dimmed, his eyes became increasingly radiant and his lips curled into a smile. The Absolute Resonance Seed had been refined by the Sacred Void Resonance Sect in the past, so why couldn't he refine his own? It would truly belong to him and would fuse with him. No one would be able to take his Absolute Resonance Seed from him.

As the two secret arts fused in Li Luo's mind, a new mysterious scripture with boundless power was born: the Divine Forging Art. With a thought, a transparent flame emerged from the depths of his body. It was the Greater Void Resonance Flame—no, it would be more correct to call it the Divine Resonance Flame.

The surging Divine Resonance Flame stopped abruptly. A moment later, his flesh and blood began to wither, turning into gray dust that drifted away. What remained at the very core of the golden ball was a single seed with twelve runes. It had emerged after everything else had been purified away.

The seed contained endless vitality. The moment it appeared, vast amounts of worldly natural energy seethed in the world around the starry sky. Even the four Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors, who were embroiled in an intense battle, couldn't help but look over in shock. When they saw the divine seed, their hearts were battered by a multitude of emotions. One thing came to their minds at the same time. "An Absolute Resonance Seed?"

As the Void Resonance's Six Sons, they were high-ranking elders second only to the Sect Master. Even so, this was the first time they had witnessed the birth and creation of an Absolute Resonance Seed.

"He actually created his own Absolute Resonance Seed? How is that possible?!" Ling Shu screeched as her features distorted.

The Absolute Resonance Seed was the most well-kept secret of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect, and no one knew exactly how it was refined. The Absolute Resonance Seeds that were imparted to Sect Master candidates were often just child seeds. Only when they were finally chosen as the actual Sect Master could they fuse with the main one and reach a state of perfection.
