Chapter 931: How To Get Rid of Him (II)
Chapter 931: How To Get Rid of Him (II)
Then, wouldn’t you say using Theth’Vorgath against him is the greatest idea, Ancient Elder Satano?
Knull asked with a brilliant grin.
"That idea is dumber than trying to fill a basket with water."
Elder Yorimita replied as Knull’s eyes dimmed.
"Take control of Theth’Vorgath’s mind?"
"Right now, though in slumber, Theth’Vorgath’s mind must be rippling with fiery rage towards all of us Knulls."
"The Queen of Nadar’s mind manipulation is indeed beyond the understanding of this world, especially with her past relationship with Theth’Vorgath."
"But allowing her control over his mind gives us two ends,"
He said as the hall quieted down to listen.
"The first is the Queen of Nadar herself."
"While she had a good relationship with our Knull race, her loyalty lies in the hands of the Gorama Evil Race, our rivals since time past, who have now managed to surpass us after Theth’Vorgath’s imprisonment."
"There is a high chance she might backstab us for the Gorama Race and use Theth’Vorgath to destroy us Knulls instead."
"After all, the Gorama race is rumored to possess an ancient Mind Art that would be enough to push the Nadar Queen to the God Level."
"Destroying us Knulls in exchange for that art is a good deal, wouldn’t you all agree?"
He asked, and full silence descended.
That was indeed the best deal in the world.
"The second thing that could happen is her failing to get Theth’Vorgath under her control."
"Can his rage really be kept down after all these years of silence in the dark?"
"Who knows what twisted horror his mind has become?"
"If Theth’Vorgath loses control, forget Ryuk."
"In his rage, he will destroy the entire Knull domain and chase down the last breathing Knull to the gates of hell."
"He might even go out to every single soul that has heard of our name and kill them, just to erase the memory of us Knulls from existence."
"You seem to have forgotten the type of monster you bred, Knull."
Elder Satano said, tilting his head up slightly at Knull, who silently growled but didn’t say anything.
What was said was true.
Ryuk destroying the entire race was a hypothesis that was most likely not going to happen.
He had not reached that level of darkness.
But Theth’Vorgath...
How many races had he wiped out of existence on his, Knull, command?
He was literally born to annihilate worlds and civilizations.
His woman, whom he loved with all his being, had been taken away from him.
His child was ripped apart limb by limb, and he himself had been betrayed and imprisoned by the very people he once protected and served.
Years in imprisonment must have twisted his rage beyond any being in the universe.
If he lost control, they wouldn’t be able to rein him in.
It was too risky. Too risky.
"Quid igitur suggeris."
Then what do you suggest?
Knull asked.
"Ryuk is indeed powerful. In fact, it is beyond amazing how far he has come," the Elder praised.
"Not to say, he is also smart."
"Theth’Vorgath was fooled, and he was exposed. Love destroyed him, for it made him conscious of destruction."
"He worried that his destructive nature would be responsible for bringing an end to his own family, like how many worlds and lives it had brought an end to."
"And for that reason, he got captured."
"But look at Ryuk."
"He cannot be threatened by using a loved one, or having a loved one betray him."
"None of us even know who he loves, nor any group he is affiliated with."
"He walks alone, fights alone, destroys alone, with the only thing to talk to him being himself."
"This is his greatest power, his freedom."
"But that is also his undoing. He has no affiliation with any power, meaning if he dies tomorrow, that’s it."
"Potential like that, one always worries about their background more than them, but in Ryuk’s case, that is never a concern."
"What makes most geniuses feared does not apply to him," the Elder noted.
"If he fuses with more body parts, he grows stronger."
"To cripple him or keep him at his current level of strength, one thing has to be done: have him not obtain any more Calamities to fuse with," he said, and light gleamed in the eyes of the Elders, including Knull.
"So you suggest we call back the First and Second Calamities?"
"That will be the first step to crippling him." Elder Satano replied.
"Send a request as soon as possible for the First and Second Calamities to return to the Knullic domain."
"Ryuk has faced you before, Knull, and he has realized his own weakness."
"He won’t want a second battle unless he’s confident of his win."
"So his plan is clear: to challenge each Knull, destroy them, and once he’s whole again, he’ll come for you."
"If you bring back the First and Second Knull, he will have no choice but to come back to the Knull domain to fight, and naturally, the three of you working together will bring him down to his knees," the Elder said.
"Praeclarum!"
Brilliant!
"But there’s still a chance of things going wrong"
"Either he finds one of the Calamities before they return and destroys them, obtaining their strength, or he faces all three of you and still manages to pull off a win,"
Elder Satano continued.
"I’m not saying you’re weak, Knull," the Elder said as Knull, who was about to explode in fury, held down for a second longer.
"I’m saying what should be done in the case of extremities."
"Something we must now have considered, since he has broken apart every single one of our extremes up until now," he added, and Knull growled silently.
That was something he couldn’t argue against.
"So I suggest, once he finds the Second and First Knull and manages to defeat them, becoming whole, or faces you and the latest together until he manages to defeat you three..."
"Then we must have one more extra card to destroy him, just in case that happens," the Elder said as the rest of the Elders frowned deeply.
Apart from Knull and the Calamities, who else could serve as a backup plan strong enough to win against that?
Nothing came to their minds...except one thing.
"Wait, you cannot be saying..." an Elder began, pausing.
Elder Satano completed:
"Summon back The Hurricane Knull, Tamar."
"That... Don’t you think that’s a bit of an overkill, Elder Satano?" some of the Elders said, unable to believe their ears.
"Besides, Tamar is no longer affiliated with us. Asking her to come will require its price, and...she doesn’t come cheap."
"Per...Perhaps we should reconsider..."
But one person grinned instead.
It was Knull.
"Perfectum. Simpliciter perfectum. Petitionem ad omnes tres mittam."
Perfect. Simply perfect. I will send the request signal to all three.
"Gratis ago tibi pro sapientia tue, Satano Senior. Hehehehe."
Thank you for your wisdom, Elder Satano. Hehehehe
