Chapter 1628 Crazy Training II

Chapter 1628  Crazy Training II

Standing in front of the miasma, Grey took a step inside and he felt a ferocious energy sweep through his body. This was unlike anything he has ever felt, and all this was due to taking just a single step into the miasma. The skin on his legs showed some cracks as if they were about to fall off, but they didn't. Grey didn't hurriedly take another step, he waited for a few minutes, and after he felt his body had gotten used to it, he took another step into the miasma. This time, he was fully immersed in the miasma. He looked behind and he couldn't see a single form of light. The entire world turned dark, and not just here, even his Chaos Space turned dark from this, however, the sun in his Chaos Space shone brightly, giving the Chaos Space a form of light, fighting off the darkness that had invaded it. It felt angered and shined even brighter. Grey could feel not just his body going through immense pain, but his spiritual senses going through immense pain as well. He sat down cross-legged and took it all in. If others saw Grey's current appearance, they will be stunned. Luckily, the defensive treasure he took, which was in the form of clothes, kept his body covered, but any other form of clothing he had that wasn't a powerful magical item was destroyed in an instant. His face had cracks all over, and in those cracks, dark lines flashed across them. Even his eyes had these cracks, but his pupils shone brightly, giving off a blue glow. But the glow grew dim when cracks also formed on them. Grey tightened his fists, and his teeth were clenched, but he didn't make a sound, he sat in the same position, letting the miasma work on his body. He stayed in that position for a little over twenty minutes, before standing up and taking another step. His eyes were shining brilliantly, and even though the cracks on his body were still evident, it was clear that it didn't have that much of a hold on him any longer. This was just the beginning part of the miasma, yet it was already this powerful. From what Grey could tell, the beginning isn't as strong as the strongest one he has encountered in the Aurora Continent, but since he wasn't doing much to defend against it, it was quite painful. The reason he didn't rush to where he would be at his limit from the start was to make sure his body got used to it, the other reason was his spiritual senses that were being attacked as well. Rushing further will put him in significant danger, so it was best he didn't take the risk. He would advance slowly.

….

In one of the islands. Klaus and the others were exploring the place. Although these Magical Beasts seemed ordinary, they were quite powerful. With the help of Void and the bunny leader, they located those on the same level as themselves and fought with them. Since Grey was training, there was no harm in them doing the same as well. Time flew by, and before they knew it, a day had gone by. They've only explored just one of the islands, and the battles with the Magical Beasts had been very good for them. Klaus could feel that he was on the verge of breaking through to the Third stage. It'll take a while before Alice and Reynolds could catch up to him, but they weren't in too much of a hurry. Grey told them about the treasure of the Second Prince. As long as they could acquire it, they would advance quickly. "I wonder how Grey's doing?" Reynolds asked as he looked in the direction of the miasma.

From the island they were situated, they could see the vast expanse of darkness in the middle and knew that Grey was there. They were currently standing on the edge of the island. If they wanted to, they could walk into the miasma, but they knew that unlike Grey who could somehow miraculously survive it, they couldn't. "Do you think he's dead?" Klaus asked. "If he's in any danger, knowing him, he would've left that place by now." Alice said. Grey might act like he didn't think things through, but he was very cautious, especially around things that will put him in danger. The second he senses any form of danger, he will immediately escape from the place without a second thought. Klaus and Reynolds nodded, before taking a glance at the carefree Void. If Grey was in danger, Void would be the first to know, and will not sit by this carefreely. "Should we go to another island or just wait here?" Reynolds asked. Since they've gone through this island, although they didn't explore the whole island due to the presence of some beasts that are more powerful than even Void, there was nothing left for them there. "We shouldn't head close to the island where the treasure is located. We can't afford to alert those people of the presence of people from the Palace." Klaus said. "So we're going to stay here and not do anything." He added with a smile, taking out his Throne, while also setting up a feast before him. Before he left the Palace, he took a few good items that he felt he needed, and some of the top fruits were one of them. Now with his throne taken out, a golden table set before him, he started eating. Reynolds brought out a smaller throne. Since Klaus had one, he also took one as well, of course it's not on the same level as Klaus's own, it didn't matter, a throne is a throne. Alice shook her head, but since there was nothing for her to do, she joined them in the feast. Void and the bunny leader weren't left out. The bunny leader sent his small bunnies to keep a lookout. It actually has bunnies in all seven islands at the moment and is aware of most of the happenings there.
