Chapter 1991: Incomplete World Origin Essence

“Does this mean if our world fails to consume their World it will eventually get destroyed?” The Seventh Prince asked.

“Not necessarily, only, our World energy will not be strong enough to produce God Plane experts. Not just that, but we will also be subject to other Worlds invading ours.” The Emperor explained.

“Oh, I heard the Humans have not been able to produce any God Plane experts in thousands of years. Is this the reason for it?” The Seventh Prince continued inquiring. This was a great opportunity for him to ask some questions he has always been curious about, so now that the opportunity presented itself, he wanted to take full advantage of it.

“Not really. The reason our World needs to consume other Worlds is because our World’s origin essence is incomplete. The Human World origin essence is complete, it’s just, according to what we learned from the God Plane experts, someone purposely made it hard for the Humans to produce God Plane experts.” The Emperor shook his head, a little confused as well, he continued by saying, “Oh right, during the last attempt to conquer the Human World, we were informed that someone has touched the borders of the God Plane and if we did not act fast, they would break through.”

“Such a thing happened?!” The Seventh Prince could not hide his dumbfounded expression.

“There are a lot of things in this world we still know nothing about, even I, the Emperor, is only privy to a little part of it. There are so many secrets about the world that can only be explained after one achieves the God Plane.” The Emperor explained unhurriedly.

“I see…” The Seventh Prince replied with a thoughtful expression. This was a lot of information to process, especially when the person he was hearing all this from was none other than the Emperor. Also, since a Human was the one hearing all this, he was naturally shocked by the information. A Gnome would also be shocked, but compared to a Human, the difference was evident. At least Gnomes still had access to this information, Grey did not think Humans were aware of this. Of course, there was a possibility that those ancient Factions were aware of this and did not see the need to release the information to the public since it would only cause unrest.

Hearing that the Gnome World’s origin essence is incomplete yet they are still able to produce God Plane experts whereas the Human World whose origin essence is complete could not is simply shocking. There was also the part where the Emperor of the Gnome World told him someone purposely made it difficult for the Human World to produce God Plane experts. Who could be powerful enough to block the Humans’ path to the God Plane? Anyone strong enough to achieve this would also be at least a God Plane expert.

“Wait, how did you know someone from the Human World touched the borders of the God Plane the last time?” Grey could not help but ask. This was something he found odd.

“Very few people know this, except for the top powerhouses, but we can actually occasionally communicate with the God Plane experts.” The Emperor’s answer almost threw Grey off his feet.

“How do you think those portals to the Human World form?” The Emperor asked with a smile.

“It’s the work of the God Plane powerhouses.” Realization finally dawned on Grey. He has been wondering how the Gnomes were able to find the weak spots in the Human World Boundaries and create these portals. He was a Space Elementalist, and even though he had been to the Gnome World once, it was still impossible for him to locate the Gnome World from the Human World. Now that the Emperor explained this, he understood why the Gnomes were able to achieve this, it was because they had a God Plane expert assisting them by the side.

‘No wonder there are so many.’ Grey was shocked beyond words. It took him a few seconds to a minute for him to calm the storm in his heart. This was information he did not expect, he had thought about a lot of possibilities, but he did not include God Plane powerhouses in these speculations. Although he has always been curious about the God Plane experts from the Gnome World, he had always thought they no longer involved themselves with things involving those below the God Plane. Now he understood the God Plane powerhouses from the Gnome World were actively seeking them out and even helping them open more portals so they could conquer the Human World.

The Emperor did not see anything odd with the Seventh Prince’s reaction to this. When he was also told about this hundreds of years ago, he was unable to calm himself for a long time. Even after leaving this place, he still found it hard to calm himself.

“There is a reason I called you here today and I’m telling you all this.” The Emperor said after giving the Seventh Prince some moments of silence.

The Seventh Prince raised his head to take a look at the Emperor, a foreboding feeling washing over his heart, “What could that be?”

“Some days back, we received news once again that someone from the Human World has touched the borders of the God Plane.” The Emperor dropped another breathtaking piece of information that made Grey stagger.

“What?!” The Seventh Prince exclaimed with widened eyes. Everything he has heard today has been more shocking than the last. First it was the fact that the Gnome World is the reason the Gnomes were actively seeking to destroy the Human World so as to ensure they can maintain producing God Plane experts. Then there was the fact that the Gnomes God Plane experts were the ones creating the portals they use in invading the Human World, which was another shocking news. As if that was not enough, he heard the Gnomes’ God Plane powerhouses informed the Emperor that someone from the Human World touched the borders of the God Plane.
