After the Full-Level Boss Entered the Infinite Game By Mistake

Chapter 725.1

Chapter 725.1

Seeing these familiar NPCs pop up one by one, Bai Lixin’s usually calm heart could no longer remain calm.

He looked over at Sun Ning and Li Cancan. “This has to be the last one, right?”

Sun Ning and Li Cancan exchanged awkward smiles, avoiding Bai Lixin’s sincere gaze.

Sun Ning: “Um… the grand table the boss requested doesn’t seem to be…”

Bai Lixin’s last hope finally died.

He simply pulled over a sofa, sat by the window, and waited to see what other “surprises” Dijia had in store for him.

Outside the window, chaos had already erupted.

After all, they were veteran players who had experienced the horror game. After being shocked for a moment, they quickly regained their composure and gathered together warily to watch the “uninvited” skeleton undead.

The undead laughed loudly and their postures were arrogant, and it was clear a battle was about to erupt.

Bai Lixin rested his chin in his hand.

A sudden roar came from the distance.

He raised his chin and looked into the depths of the forest. An army of zombies clad in ragged strips and decaying bodies marched toward them in a vast horde.

The player-guests, who had long lost their initial panic, slowly gathered together with grim expressions.

“Red Spiders, undead, zombies… Are we really here to attend a wedding?”

“Are we sure this isn’t the horror game invading the real world?”

“Probably not, right? Didn’t each arrival come with congratulatory messages?”

“Damn it, someone’s trying to set me up! They lured me to this place—this has to be a conspiracy, a scheme!”

“Is attending this wedding mandatory? Maybe we should leave?”

“Leave? With zombies all over the place, you think you can get out?”

“Uh…”

The player-guests huddled together, wary.

Meanwhile, the undead with glowing green eyes stared at the slow-approaching zombie army.

The zombies reached the front of the hotel.

The Zombie King tilted his stiff neck and grumbled, “The Zombie King is here with the zombie army to attend Dijia and Bai Lixin’s grand wedding. We didn’t want to come, we only want to rule the world! Just hurry up with the ceremony—we need to get back to our plans!”

The Undead King pointed at the zombies. “What are those ugly things?”

An aide whispered beside him, “They’re zombies, King.”

Undead King: “What are zombies?”

Aide: “They’re a kind of creature that humans mutated into after being infected by a virus. They are usually mindless and numb to pain, nearly impossible to kill unless their core is damaged.”

Undead King: “? No thoughts, no pain, can’t be killed? Why does that sound just like us?”

Aide: “They must be imitating us!”

The Undead King shot the aide a glare. “Our taste isn’t that twistedly ugly, is it? Look at them, clumsy movements, decayed bodies, distorted features—hideous, absolutely hideous! These half-finished creatures dare to mimic us? And look at us—elegant bone structures, gleaming crystal eyes. Their imitation of us is an insult, I won’t allow their existence!”

The Undead King gave a command: “Undead army, listen up! Attack! Eradicate these impostors!”

At his order, the undead army roared in fury, raising their shields as they advanced aggressively toward the zombie army outside the door.

The Zombie King frowned. “What’s with these things!”

“Damn you, Dijia! How dare you set us up!”

“Zombie army, listen to me—attack!”

Outside the Blue Sea Hotel, utter chaos ensued in the woods.

The undead army and the zombie army clashed violently, dismembered bones and torn limbs flying into the lawn from time to time.

The players watched in shock.

Gradually, they realized that the undead and zombies were locked in a life-and-death struggle that had nothing to do with them.

Since escape was impossible, the now more relaxed players began enjoying the refreshments, casually watching the battle between the zombies and the undead.

Magic circles occasionally appeared in the sky, while the zombie army glowed faintly with strange powers.

The two forces were evenly matched.

They could hear the angry shouts of the undead and zombie kings amidst the melee.

Undead King: “You impostors are pretty hard to kill! Die already!”

Zombie King: “Crush their cores! Crush their cores for me!”

Undead King: “Ha, you think you can just crush my core? All undead soldiers, aim for their heads, blow their heads off!”

The ground was littered with severed limbs and remains of the undead and zombies.

The player-guests were thoroughly entertained by the spectacle.

“I never thought I’d live to see two enemies tearing each other apart like this.”

“I’m not sure what’s going on, but watching the undead fight zombies and zombies pound undead, I feel oddly at peace.”

“In the horror game, they’d always beat us down. I’ve dreamed of revenge, and now it’s happening. Shows you still need to have dreams.”

“Hahaha, exciting! I’m so glad I could attend the legendary wedding of God Xin and the big boss.”

“A legendary wedding? This feels like an apocalypse wedding! Red Spiders, merfolk, undead, zombies—why do I feel like there’s still more to come?”

Bai Lixin’s expression had grown numb.

‘Over?’

‘It’s probably just starting.’

He couldn’t help but wonder who else Dijia had invited.

Had Dijia invited every NPC he’d ever met in his game copies?

Patting his stiff cheeks, Bai Lixin forced a “friendly” smile. “Sun Ning, where is Dijia?”

Sun Ning’s smile was strained. “Uh… the big boss said he’s preparing a final surprise for you. He didn’t tell us where he went.”

Bai Lixin’s smile grew wider. “This isn’t enough of a surprise?”

Sun Ning forced a chuckle. “There’s probably an even bigger surprise.”

The rumble of engines suddenly came from outside the window.

A huge spaceship that was entirely out of place in this civilization suddenly appeared.

Its dark metal exterior, sleek circular lines, and futuristic cybernetic lights emanated an intense sci-fi vibe.

A huge beam of white light shot down from the center of the circular spaceship, and an uncountable number of robot troops descended from the sky along the beam.

Bai Lixin: “…”

‘The robot army, too? Even they were invited?’

The robot army landed right in the middle of the battle between the zombie and undead armies.

The robot leader observed their fight for a moment, then waved his hand and issued a command: “An infinite regenerative ability and the power of undeath—amazing. Capture them all and bring them back for dissection and research!”

“Boom!”

A loud crash rang out as something heavy fell from the giant spaceship, kicking up a cloud of dust on the ground.

As the dust settled, the player guests looked closer.

Countless metal nets and cages had trapped each member of the undead and zombie armies, even including their respective leaders.

The Undead King and Zombie king were horrified.

The Undead King grabbed the iron bars. “What is this? You dare to ambush me, the King!”

The zombie King snarled, “Did Dijia send you? Is it him? I knew he had malicious intentions!”

The robot leader’s eyes glowed with a cold, eerie blue light as he said, “The great Lord Dijia is our god. Insulting our god like this—you’re first to be dissected.”

The zombie King’s pale face flushed with rage. “So it is him! Dijia, I’ll kill you!!!”

With the robot army’s arrival, the absurd clash between the zombie and undead armies came to an end.

Having handled the two factions, the robot leader slowly rose into the air.

His entire form was crafted from sleek, dark metal, accented by striking white and gold lines.

A chilling, mechanical voice echoed through the Blue Ocean Hotel: “In the name of our god Dijia, the robot army has come to attend the wedding of Lord Dijia and Mr. Bai Lixin. This is the gift we bring for the newlyweds.”

A sudden beam of light shot up into the sky.

At the end of the beam, it expanded to form a massive curtain across the night sky.

As a familiar tune played, a clear image appeared on the curtain.

Bai Lixin was stunned and immediately looked up at the display.

The scene on the screen shifted, turning into a three-dimensional projection.

An airborne stage appeared in the sky, surrounded by flashing lights illuminating the center of the stage.

Then, a familiar figure appeared at the center.

He had shoulder-length hair, wore an invisible earpiece, and was dressed in a dashing silver performance outfit as he sang and danced with abandon.

Bai Lixin: “…”

Sun Ning: “God Xin, that seems to be… you?”

Li Cancan: “Be confident. Remove the ‘seems to be.'”

The robot leader: “This is the best singer in the history of our Dark Steel City, but it’s a pity that he died young because of God’s jealousy of his talent.”

Bai Lixin: ?

‘Who did you say was dead?’

The robot leader: “However, our advanced technology allowed us to simulate his image with AI using footage from his lifetime.”

“No one can resist his singing. This is the ‘Voice of the Future’ we bring for the newlyweds!” The robot leader was full of confidence. “It’s our very best gift, and the newlyweds will definitely love it!”

Li Can Can & Sun Ning: “…”

Bai Lixin: “…”

‘Ridiculous. I sang at my own wedding?’

‘Does anyone here actually know whose wedding this is or what the newlyweds look like?’

A startled cry arose from the ocean below, as a green-skinned mermaid pointed at the projection in the sky. “Isn’t that the ugly guy? How did he get up there? And where’s his tail?”

Beautiful merfolk: “Ugly? That’s the template for our evolution!”

Green-skinned merfolk: “So he’s the culprit behind merfolk evolution?!”

Beautiful merfolk: “He’s an excellent template! Template!!”

Suddenly, a meteor streaked across the sky.

Moments later, countless meteors lit up the night.

Amid the magical starlit sea, beautiful dark elves with wings appeared in the sky.

The Elf King arrived, accompanied by the Forest Princess: “The Dark Elves and the Forest Princess are here to congratulate the newlyweds.”

The Forest Princess was holding a vine-wrapped object. Bai Lixin looked closely and realized there was a person inside the vines, someone whose face seemed vaguely familiar.

After a moment, he finally remembered.

It was Mr. Mo, of the Blood Clan.

But this Mr. Mo looked different from the elegant, handsome figure he was in the game copy. His eye sockets were sunken, and his cheeks were pale and gaunt, as if he were severely malnourished.

The Forest Princess casually tossed the vine-bound Mr. Mo onto the lawn. “We found this sneaky guy on the way here. He looked suspicious, so we tied him up.”

Mr. Mo’s sharp teeth almost bit his lip in frustration. “Suspicious? I am Count Mo of the Blood Clan, I was invited to this wedding! How dare you treat me this way!”

Gasps came from the surrounding players.

“Is that Mr. Mo?”

“It really is him.”

“I think he’s the one who killed me.”

“I suffered a lot under him too.”

“Ha, to see Mr. Mo here in my lifetime…”

“I should thank the big boss.”

A crowd started to gather around Mr. Mo.

Seeing the hostile expressions around him, Mr. Mo’s red eyes trembled, but his voice remained as arrogant as ever. “What do you want to do? Stay away from me, you lowly humans!”

Someone kicked him first.

Mr. Mo cried out in shock. “I am a Blood Clan Count! How dare you?!”

Then a punch followed.

Gradually, Mr. Mo was engulfed by the crowd.

His voice could still be heard from the center of the crowd, though it slowly shifted from defiant curses to desperate pleas.

“Do you want to die?!”

“You actually dare to treat me this way!”

“I won’t let you off so easily!”

“Ah! It hurts!”

“Stop hitting me, stop!”

“I beg you, please stop!”

“We’re not saints.”

“When we pleaded with you back then, you didn’t let us go either!”

“Today, you’ve finally fallen into my hands!”

“If you don’t repay a grudge, you are not a gentleman!”

Bai Lixin was watching intently. Sun Ning glanced at the time and leaned closer. “God Xin, it’s almost time for the wedding. Shall we head down?”

Bai Lixin didn’t seem very eager to go down; too many surprises had left him feeling a bit overwhelmed. But, after a moment’s thought, curiosity about what bizarre ideas Dijia had in store started to grow.

He couldn’t help but wonder what strange things Dijia might pull off next with his weird brain circuit.

At exactly eight o’clock, Bai Lixin appeared on the lawn.

By now, the lawn had been turned inside out, completely ruined beyond recognition.

After testing the waters for a bit, the players realized that the suddenly appearing NPCs posed no real threat. Perhaps it was due to a lingering fear or something Dijia had set as a restriction, but these monsters which usually strutted around boldly in-game, all now seemed to have their tails between their legs.

At this moment, those who had grudges will take revenge, and those who had grievances will complain.

The main point was that old scores had to be settled.

The scene was extremely chaotic and there was a feverish madness.

When Bai Lixin appeared on the lawn, a brief silence fell over the frenzied crowd.

Then, wave after wave of cheers erupted from the crowd.

“God Xin! It’s really God Xin!”

“Wow, I can’t believe I’m witnessing God Xin and the big boss’s wedding in real life!”

“Congratulations on your marriage, God Xin! May you be happy!”

“God Xin, thank you for making my dream come true—I finally got to beat up Mr. Mo.”

“Long live God Xin!”

Bai Lixin: “…”

‘No, you should be thanking Dijia. Don’t thank me, I don’t deserve it.’

A strong gust of wind suddenly blew from above.

Looking up, Bai Lixin saw a massive golden dragon swooping down from the dark sky.

This dragon was all too familiar to Bai Lixin; it was the form Dijia had assumed once in the Fairytale Town copy.

A man stood on top of the dragon. He was dressed in a black suit, with his coat tails flapping wildly in the wind. His tousled hair gave his handsome face an extra touch of wildness and arrogance.

The golden dragon spread its fleshy wings and slowly descended.

After landing in the center of the lawn, Dijia waved his hand in mid-air.

Immediately, the previously ruined lawn and trees returned to their original state.

Dijia dismounted from the golden dragon, holding a bouquet of roses. He knelt on one knee in front of Bai Lixin, his expression both restrained and earnest.

“My dear, are you pleased with the wedding I’ve prepared for you?”

Bai Lixin pulled Dijia up. “So far, it’s been… acceptable.”

Dijia shoved the bouquet into Bai Lixin’s hands. “This is just the beginning.”

Bai Lixin: ?

Dijia: “The real fun is yet to come. It’s about time. The night is perfect, and Young King Yama and the others should be arriving. You’d like to see them too, right?”

Bai Lixin: “Them…?”

‘Who’s included in “them,” husband? Could you clarify?’

Just as Dijia’s words fell, strange bells and celestial chanting echoed from the forest.

Leaves rustled, chilling wails rose, and dark shadows gathered from all directions.

A vast procession slowly emerged from the mist.

A green-skinned ghost with a long, white beard shook his soul calling banner, and as the banner moved, the sound of bells rang, and countless ghosts wailed in unison.

“One hundred ghosts come to offer their congratulations!”

A voice from above added to the eerie atmosphere. Bai Lixin stiffly turned his neck.

A wooden sedan chair flew in from the horizon, surrounded by roaring flames. There was a little ghost carrying the sedan chair in each of the four corners.

Seated in the sedan chair was the adult King Yama Bai Lixin was very familiar with.

Behind him followed a legion of tens of thousands of souls from the underworld, pouring in from all directions.

“King Yama and the underworld have come to join the wedding feast!”

The sheer spectacle of it turned the world upside down.

The players gasped in awe.

“Fuck, a hundred ghosts parade?”
