Because Qiuqiu had taken a peak expert's attack for Ye Zhongming, it had for the first time entered a state where it could not move. Ye Zhongming tried to put it back into his space to recover, only to find that the creature could no longer enter at all.

So Ye Zhongming had no choice but to carry it on his back so that he could tend to it and keep an eye on it at all times.

He could feel that the ship coming to pick everyone up had arrived, and the transport vehicle started moving. They must have been transferred aboard.

But they did not immediately depart to the outer-space spaceport; instead, they stayed there for a while, and after launching, they did not ascend continuously but flew normally.

Ye Zhongming knew this was probably because the news of the Huo'er Star people's total annihilation and the deaths of two peak experts had broken out, and the entire cosmic races of the universe must have been shaken by it.

When the various races' spacecraft waiting in outer space received the news, they were stunned for several good minutes.

The Su Clan had suffered heavy losses, having been attacked by a mutated lifeform beast horde and a parasite swarm, forcing them to break out of the encirclement and abandon their base. Even so, their mortality rate had exceeded forty percent, and their severe injury rate was ninety percent!

The Reina Star people had also been forced to relocate their base; their strength was relatively intact, but all those who had died were their most important figures.

These mixed messages, both true and false, were relayed back to the myriad races of the universe by those here, and chaos erupted immediately. All media and communication channels were reporting on the incident, and all kinds of speculation poured in.

This upheaval reached its climax when the Huo'er Star people issued a statement.

In summary, the Huo'er Star people's stance had three points:

First, all lifeforms and races that had participated in the planet hunting ground were to remain in outer space around the planet, awaiting investigation.

Second, a Cosmic Race Council was to be convened, and the clan chiefs of all races must attend.

Third, a thorough search was to be conducted on all members of the Star-Eye Clan and the Su Clan who had participated in this battle. After inspection, all their mid- and high-ranking personnel were to be escorted to the venue of the Cosmic Race Council to provide an explanation for this matter.
