Chapter 673: Chapter 274: The Unyielding Zhuang Shuyuan_3
Liang Yuan smiled, "It’s not about trusting him, it’s about trusting my own strength."
Ding Yan was momentarily stunned, then she chuckled. Only Liang Yuan could say such a thing.
Nobody could comprehend Liang Yuan’s current strength. He had reached a height that was beyond anyone’s reach.
After dinner, everyone sat on the couch watching TV, enjoying these rare moments of relaxation in the apocalypse.
Liang Yuan wrapped his arm around Yang Mei’s waist and said, "Sister Mei, in the next couple of days, get your affairs in order and let Dong Yan help you temporarily."
Yang Mei looked at Liang Yuan in confusion, "What’s up?"
Song Wen and Ding Yan also looked over.
Liang Yuan said gravely, "These next two days, I’ll take you to Meishan."
Yang Mei sat up abruptly, her eyes full of surprise. Her ample chest heaved with excitement.
"Really? We can go to Meishan?"
Liang Yuan smiled and nodded, "Yes."
Yang Mei was overjoyed. She couldn’t help but embrace him and give him a kiss, "Little brother, thank you, thank you."
Song Wen couldn’t resist saying, "Brother Liang, how many people do you need? Do you need Zhao Kai to come along?"
Ding Yan said directly, "I’ll go with you, let Zhao Kai stay."
Liang Yuan shook his head, "No need, just the two of us is enough."
Ding Yan frowned and asked, "We still don’t know the situation in Meishan. With just the two of you, isn’t it a bit risky?"
Liang Yuan laughed and shook his head, "Fewer people is more convenient. Don’t worry, I can protect Sister Mei."
"I also need to bring Uncle Lin."
Everyone was surprised. Ding Yan asked, "Uncle Lin too?"
Yang Mei asked, "Why is Uncle Lin going?"
Liang Yuan explained, "Among the residents of Meishan Village, he knows more of the older generation than you do. He knows everyone you don’t."
"With him guiding us, it will be easier to find your parents."
Yang Mei nodded in agreement.
It was true. Meishan Village was her hometown, but in reality, she rarely stayed there after starting college.
She only went back during summer and winter vacations. After graduation, she worked away and only returned on weekends.
She could recognize the younger generation in her hometown, but many of the older generation she couldn’t name or distinguish, let alone have any relationships with them.
On the other hand, Uncle Lin had lived in the village all his life until the last two years, when he moved to help his son with his grandson.
If Uncle Lin came along, it would be more convenient as he knew more people.
Song Wen couldn’t help but ask, "How long will you be gone?"
She was a bit reluctant, as they had just gotten married and were still in the honeymoon phase, deeply affectionate.
Liang Yuan smiled and reassured her, "We’ll come back as soon as we find Sister Mei’s parents. It won’t be long."
Ding Yan said, "Go ahead and don’t worry; we’ve got things covered here."
Liang Yuan smiled and nodded, "I trust your strength."
At night, it was customary that Liang Yuan was supposed to go to Yang Mei’s room tonight.
However, Yang Mei noticed Song Wen’s reluctance and pushed Liang Yuan into Song Wen’s room.
Song Wen was embarrassed and tried to push Liang Yuan back.
Liang Yuan was helpless as they pushed him back and forth. In the end, Yang Mei, exhibiting her role as the main household lady, locked Liang Yuan in Song Wen’s room.
Wearing a nightgown, Song Wen blushed and slipped into the bed. Liang Yuan naturally followed suit without hesitation.
After their exercise, Song Wen clung to Liang Yuan, asking, "Am I too clingy?"
Liang Yuan laughed, "I’m your man. If you don’t cling to me, who will you cling to?"
Song Wen lifted her beautiful eyes and said, "But you’re not just mine alone."
Liang Yuan’s eyes suddenly brightened, "If you really think so, why don’t we all just sleep in the same bed from now on?"
Song Wen blushed and lightly hit him, "You’re thinking about that again."
Liang Yuan grinningly reached his hand between her legs, "We’re all family. Look how troublesome it is pushing each other back and forth now."
"If we all sleep together, when you can’t keep up, Sister Mei can help you. Now you’re leaving Sister Mei and Sister Ding alone in their rooms; aren’t they lonely?"
Song Wen’s face turned crimson as she clenched her thighs, panting, "It doesn’t matter what you say to me, Sister Mei and Sister Ding need to agree too."
Liang Yuan grinned, "Just talk to them normally and persuade them."
"No, no, I can’t say such things."
Song Wen hurriedly waved her hands, her face embarrassed.
Though she was a streamer and had watched some explicit videos, she never dared to try anything like sleeping under the same blanket with others.
Liang Yuan’s eyes darted, but he didn’t say anything, laughing, "Alright, alright, I won’t tease you. Sleep now, it’s getting late."
Song Wen mumbled a response and closed her eyes in his arms, quickly falling into a dream due to exhaustion.
After she fell asleep, Liang Yuan quietly got up, took a shower, and went to Yang Mei’s room.
Sure enough, Yang Mei was still awake. Seeing Liang Yuan come in, she was surprised, "Why aren’t you sleeping yet? What about Wenwen?"
Liang Yuan smiled, "Wenwen is tired and resting."
Yang Mei glanced at him playfully and chided, "You don’t know how to be gentle with her; she’s just adapting. Don’t try those embarrassing tricks."
Liang Yuan chuckled, "What are you talking about? Her superpower has self-healing abilities; her stamina is better than yours."
Yang Mei was astonished, then laughed, "You two..really need to restrain yourselves, even using self-healing abilities."
Liang Yuan was speechless, realizing she misunderstood, and climbed into bed, "Can’t sleep?"
"Yeah, thinking about finding my parents has me a bit scared."
"What are you scared of?"
"I’m afraid they didn’t make it to Meishan." Yang Mei nestled into Liang Yuan’s arms, eyes slightly red.
Liang Yuan comforted her, "They lived in the village; they got flooded first, so they would have gone up the mountain early too. From a broader perspective, it’s not that severe."
"Didn’t it take one or two months after the flood for people to start committing crimes in the high-rise buildings we lived in?"
"In the early stages of the flood, people still had morals. They definitely went to the mountain."
Yang Mei couldn’t help but say, "What if something happened to them on the mountain?"
Liang Yuan kissed her, "Then how about I go with Uncle Lin, and you wait for news at home?"
"No!"
Yang Mei quickly shook her head and whispered, "I want to hear the news firsthand."
Liang Yuan hugged her, "Okay, I’ll take you with me. No matter what happens, we’ll face it together."
Yang Mei was deeply moved. She then lifted the quilt, sat on top of him, and leaned against his chest, "Little brother, you’re so good to me. Meeting you is my lifetime’s blessing."
"Sister Mei—" Liang Yuan felt her jade hand under the quilt, and his breath became rapid.
Yang Mei’s beautiful eyes sparkled as she lightly bit his earlobe, "Come, love me."
