Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy

Chapter 1235: The New Realm

Chapter 1235: The New Realm

While Vale and the others were helping the Marshall Academy to develop and become the world's new standard of teaching Arcanists, the three Time Manipulators remained busy with their task in order to develop their Realm's status and obtain the quality that the Will of the Realm needed to create Divinity.

It was a very difficult task, and as a matter of fact, Vale didn't expect any good result on this matter…

He didn't mind even if he had to wait for several decades to complete this task.

However, he underestimated the information that the Time Manipulators had when they were still in their faction and working under the Timeless King.

Of course, Cyper and the others also expected a result after a long time. They were surprised that they had actually succeeded!

"We've really done it…" Cyper muttered.

They just confirmed humans lived here… Furthermore, Magic existed, though faint and unrefined. It was a realm of potential, untouched by other Immortal Beings!

"This is it," Liora whispered…

"A lower realm, uninvaded, with humans and magic. Perfect."

Cyper's broad shoulders relaxed…

There was a rare smile crossing his face. "Should we name it ourselves?" Cyper asked.

Liora nodded. "This coordinate is something you have provided from the forgotten records… It's unnamed and not even the records of the Time Faction… Do you want to name it as Cyper?"

"That would be inappropriate." Cyper shook his head.

Elysia chuckled and gave a suggestion. "How about we call it Vale?"

"Ha! That's too much… It would be confusing as well if we refer it with that name." Cyper muttered.

"Wait… I'm thinking of calling it Valor." He added.

"Valor?" Elysia repeated.

"Yes… That's what we'll call it. A realm worth fighting for or something like that." Cyper answered.

"That sounds acceptable. Should we report it to Lord Vale now?" Elysia's voice was calm, but her eyes shone with determination.

Liora nodded.

"It will take time. At least five years to stabilize a path, perhaps longer. But once we do, Vale will have his foothold… I'm sure he'd be happy to hear about this now and make preparations. Since there's a lot of things to be prepared. He must have the time to get ready…"

Cyper agreed.

"This is also a perfect opportunity for his disciples. With the current path we can create, no Immortals could enter this realm just yet. Vale can probably consider sending his best students first."

"What?" Liora was quite surprised by that suggestion, but after thinking about it, it certainly did make sense.

After all, after the path was created, the next move was obviously to build a foundation. Vale or any immortals couldn't just enter the realm, as it would create a huge imbalance.

This was also the reason why Liora had to investigate with her Temporal Body and not her real body.

They must start with building a foundation, and it would be a perfect job for his disciples and students.

Soon, the three stood together, gazing into the fragile window of Valor. For the first time in months, hope burned in their hearts.

***

Just like that, they swiftly informed Vale's Avatar about the situation…

"You have done well. Valor will be our next step. Prepare the arrays and stabilize the path. For now, only my closest allies will know about this information… So guard this secret with your lives. In time, we will move."

The Time Manipulators bowed, their mission finally bearing fruit.

And so, in the depths of the Shadow Domain, the path to Valor began. It would take years of effort, countless adjustments, and endless vigilance.

But the first step was done…

Vale's vision of expansion was no longer a dream.

***

Three days later, Vale sat within the quiet chamber within the Shadow Castle…

His Avatar listened to the reports of the three Time Manipulators.

Cyper, Liora, and Elysia had returned from their daily incursions into the newly discovered realm, Valor.

Their temporal bodies could only last thirty minutes at a time before the Will of the Realm pressed against them, threatening to destroy their fragile projections.

Indeed, any longer, and they risked annihilation.

Yet thirty minutes was enough if repeated daily. In three days, they had pieced together fragments of Valor Realm's truth.

Cyper spoke first.

"Just as we predicted. The realm is fertile. Forests stretch for miles, rivers cut through valleys, and the soil is rich. Mortals here live in scattered kingdoms, not united under one banner. Their weapons are crude, iron and steel, but they have begun to shape armies. They fight wars among themselves, but nothing that would threaten Immortal designs. At the very least, we couldn't find any threat yet"

Liora adjusted her robe and nodded. "Magic exists, faint but present. It is not systematized yet. Mortals treat it as superstition or as gifts granted to rare individuals. There are no academies, no organized factions. A few bloodlines seem to carry a stronger affinity, but overall, their arcane knowledge is primitive."

Elysia continued.

"The Will of Realm is not acting against us just yet. It allowed us to observe, but pressed against us each time we lingered. It is strong enough to enforce laws, yet not hostile. It seems to tolerate our presence, so long as we do not interfere directly. That is why our temporal bodies can last thirty minutes, no more."

Vale listened and nodded...

"Impressive work. Humans… scattered kingdoms… faint magic. Untouched by Immortals. This is precisely what we needed."

Cyper nodded. "We even confirmed the existence of temples. Mortals worship deities, though none are real. Their gods are myths, their prayers seemed to be unanswered… but I may be wrong. We might need more time to investigate. For now, I believe that they seek power, but they have no true protectors."

Liora added, "We also noted resources. Valor has veins of crystal and metals that could be refined. Their forests are vast, and they have plentiful beasts around…"

"Beasts?" Vale repeated.

Liora nodded. "From animals to mystical beasts, they existed there."

Elysia then added. "Just like our previous estimation, at least five years to stabilize a path. The Will will resist if we force entry too quickly…"

Vale's Avatar was happy about this. "Five years is acceptable. I did not expect success so soon. You have exceeded my expectations."
