Edelmir's body trembled in fear, using his shaky hands to support himself instead of falling off, his breathing was ragged as his chest was heaved up and down, obvious to the naked eyes, and his eyes shook, his pupils dilated as terror filled his eyes.

His eyes kept changing focus between the black-red sword above them and the man's eyes. He did not even know who the man was, but his people told him that this man was Lady Akhor's guest. The informants were those four dead people, the four people returned when he was with the Wicked Blades' leader. In fact, this impromptu scheme was the Wicked Blades' leader's idea. Tang Shaoyang sensed someone was coming from his left and stopped not far from him. He looked up, at the same female officer who was accepted to the army, Lady Akhor.

"Give me a good reason to stop," He stood up and faced the woman in the black uniform. Not just her, but she was followed by more people in the same uniform. "For your information, I am quite petty. He wants to kill me, so I will kill him for that. I will not leave him just because of how weak he is."

Lady Akhor was nervous deep inside. When she saw the situation from afar, she was shocked and her shock turned into concerns that slowly made her nervous. If this man could take down half of the God Ranks from the mercenary, he could also take down the army. The man was dangerous without a doubt, but he was also someone the town needed to fight the incoming invasion.

The mercenary commander was quite smart not to say the details to save a little bit of the reputation he had and just put out a name for people to blame. He seemed to know Lady Akhor's character. Even though this was a chance for her to take him down, she would not do it. There was no mission or quest, and he figured it was something similar that his people encountered in the tower tutorial for the first ten floors in the Sky Level Dimensional Tower. Zhang Mengyao told him how they managed to clear the floor, win the war, and kill the king. The king or maybe someone equal to the king was the floor boss, or maybe a key figure like the abandoned princess, a commander of an army.

"You are a player, aren't you?" Zelie Linden Akhor asked in a solemn tone.
