Chapter 1958: Shepherd of Beast Spirit (2)

Tang Shaoyang was teleported into an open field and... small area. Through his bird view vision, this place might not be able to hold more than five species. It was around 100 x 100 meters. At the edge of the area was a walled void. There was an invisible while that might act as a protection for his future Beast Spirit so the curious ones did not fall into the void.

There was nothing, just a field of grass. The only thing that came to his eyes was the mini-map. It showed the area around him and indicated its size. Just as he guessed, it was indeed a 100x100 meters area. He could guess it because it was about similar to the length of a football field.

There was nothing to explore since his Chaos Eyes covered the area, and he felt like this space was too small for his Beast Spirit zoo.

"Is there any instruction or something? That will help!" He yelled to the sky, his frustration with the System.

[The shop! Buy something from the shop!] Vandir reminded him.

Tang Shaoyang slapped his forehead and opened the Beast Spirit Store. He went straight to the facility since this place was too small for those terrains.

"Research... Management... Breeding..." He stopped breeding and returned to management. The price for the Management Center was one million GC and one hundred Chaos Energy.

One million was expensive for many, but not for him, and he felt like it took too little energy for the cost.

[Maybe because of the quality of your energy. We know your Chaos Energy is a stronger energy than most, maybe that’s why it’s cheaper.] Vandir guessed which made sense.

[Are you sure you want to buy Management Center?] A notification popped out when he pressed the buy, and he confirmed.

Tang Shaoyang expected a building would pop out like the way he bought the building from the Smart Base, but a mini-map appeared in front of him, and he was asked where he wanted to put the building. He did not care that much about aesthetics and put it in the middle.

There was an error, and he almost yelled again until he realized why the error was because of him. He was standing in the middle of this space. He let out a chuckle, and his spirits were, of course, laughing at him. When he moved out of the space, the building appeared instantly.

Tang Shaoyang expected a big building, but he was surprised by what appeared. It was actually a small building, a building with just three rooms. He could see through the wall, and only three rooms inside. A lobby, and two office rooms which were one bigger than the other.

The building provided the basic furniture, a table, and three couches around the table. Then he checked the office room, and one of them was labeled as the Owner Room. He opened the room and a menu popped out in front of his face before he could check the room.

The thing that got him the most was the number fifth. It was the name of one of his passive skills. Tang Shaoyang immediately tapped it to see what the skill did. This might be a clue as to what the skill did.

While it did not directly tell Tang Shaoyang what the skill was, he immediately understood what the skill did after seeing this menu. Based on how many Spirit Beasts stayed in his World of Beast Spirit, those numbers would increase his stats. He just hoped it was not one to one ratio or else the skill was pointless.

[Maybe it depends on the Beast Spirit’s rank and level. The higher the rank and the level, it will give you more attributes. It should not be a one-to-one ratio.] Vandir was active, and Tang Shaoyang could sense his interest in this world, or maybe the Beast Spirit.

Tang Shaoyang furrowed his brow as he realized what made Vandir interested. His necromancer spirit might be intrigued with the Beast Spirit, whether he could make an undead out of the Beast Spirit. That was most likely, and he could not really tell based on his interest only.

Tang Shaoyang put away the thought and went back to the menu before pressing the Monthly Application. The reason he opened this first was because it might be related to his Beast Spirit Application skill.

Whatever this was, he would find out in five days and sixteen hours. He checked the Beast Spirit Record, and it was empty as well. He moved up to Staff and found out that he could hire staff to take care of this world for him. There was an option for hiring, and he could post a job vacancy and wait to see if people would apply for the job. He could only hire a caretaker for now, and it made sense since he could not be in this place all the time.

Then he checked the expanded menu and found out he could make his world bigger. Of course, he must pay the price, and fortunately, it used the same currency as the store: GC and his energy. There were five options for expansion, he could open more areas. It was like buying land, and he could buy a 100x100 meter area and place it wherever he wanted as long as it connected to this area, to south, north, west, or east.

Tang Shaoyang could expand this world five times, and there was no more option after that. Or he could buy all five expansions at once at a cheaper price, like a bundle. One expansion was 100k GC and 50 Chaos Energy, and the five-expansion bundle was 450k GC and 200 Chaos Energy.

He did not waste his time and bought the bundle, and he expanded his World of Beast Spirit into a 200 x 300 meters area. That put his Management Center in a weird spot, but he would expand further eventually and the Management Center as the center of this world.

There was nothing he could do anymore as the menu was empty. His spirit and he figured out that it would give him an option for further expansion after he upgraded his Management Center to level 2 or maybe raised his reputation to one star.

He tapped into the upgrade and received a notification.
