Chapter 2003: Your Dragon Looks Smaller
Chapter 2003: Your Dragon Looks Smaller
"What makes you think they can’t break free from your ice, or people from their faction help them to break them free?" Clementine thought freezing them was easy, but keeping them frozen was the hard part.
Tang Shaoyang grinned, "We can do a little test on you. Don’t worry, you might be cold, but it will not kill you. Let’s see if you can break free of my ice."
"Don’t speak nonsense and keep your stupid ideas in your head, Tang Shaoyang." Arion knew something about the ice in the topic. The ice might not be able to last for a hundred years, but it should be enough to last for ten years. The reason was simple: Jannis’ background.
"Jannis and his team are from the Maleficar Kingdom. You don’t want to make a mess with them because they are on the same level as the Ancient Kingdom. That’s why they are a bit cocky; a little lesson should not be a problem. So keep your idea in your head, and you are safe for now because Clementine is the one who hurts them. The Maleficar Kingdom will not be stupid enough to offend her and her clan."
Tang Shaoyang was even more curious about Clementine’s clan than the Maleficar Kingdom. How is a kingdom afraid of a clan? A kingdom was supposed to be bigger than a clan, meaning the kingdom should have more power than a clan. It was weird that a kingdom acted cautiously against a clan.
"Get ready. They are coming!"
Arion stops the discussion with his reminder. As he said, more than a hundred people wearing black robes flew into the sky. Not just from the south, but from west, east, and north as well.
Each of them was holding a wooden sword, but it was no ordinary wooden sword for sure. There were intricate symbols mixed with ancient text coiled around the wooden sword.
"Ah, that’s why they are only killing one team. They want to kill all of us in one attack. Aren’t they underestimating us too much?" Clementine showed no concern at all, even though their enemies were coming prepared.
These men spread out, circling the main base from the sky while holding a sword in their right hand. Then they put the wooden sword on their chest level, pointing upward. They put two fingers of their right hands on the surface of the wooden sword.
The glow became brighter as the energy connected from one to another. The harmony of the energy was powerful and also beautiful. Black and yellow flowers formed from the energy, scattered to the main base. It was like they were throwing the flowers for a funeral.
"Aren’t you going to stop them?" Tang Shaoyang asked the two Executive Administrators. The reason he did not want to make a move was that he wanted to see how Arion and Clementine fight. He was curious about them and hoped to find out more about them from this battle.
"Isn’t the youngest supposed to take the menial work while the seniors tackle the actual issue?" Clementine grinned at him, "Unless you are not confident to break their formation, then your seniors have to step in."
It was so obvious that Clementine tried to goad him into action. Just like him, she also wanted to know how strong he was. He never fought in front of her, but she had seen the result of his fight.
"I can take the job, but I will try a new thing, so you must get prepared if I fail to break their attack."
Arion snapped at Tang Shaoyang after hearing the response, "Break their attack? Aren’t you going to break their formation?"
"Nah. I want to see which technique is stronger, mine or theirs," Tang Shaoyang used his Dragon Transformation and took out his Azure Dragon Blade.
He was not holding back as he immediately opened the ninth Heavenly Gate, Heavenly Beast Azure Dragon. The dragon’s roar resounded as the image of an Azure Dragon formed behind. It was no longer purely azure-colored anymore because it had the touch of the blackness of Chaos Energy. The image of the dragon slowly transforming due to Chaos Energy used to convert into Heavenly Energy.
At the same time, the sky split as a thunderous roar resounded in the air. That was right, the sky was split open like a gate. A massive sword that was as big as the main base slowly descended from the sky. The first to come in sight was the tip of the sword.
It slowly descended until it revealed its whole form. The sword was made of blue-colored energy. The same energy these people used in their wooden swords, or more likely, they were using their energy to manifest the sword. It felt like the sword was more than a thousand meters long and as wide as the main base.
A strike to the main base might wipe out all administrators, excluding the Executive Administrator. The sword emitted a powerful aura and energy. It exerted pressure on the administrators in the main base.
Tang Shaoyang could see everyone in the main base with his Chaos Eyes. The surprise came from the administrators. They did not flinch even when facing such a threat. Most of them did not even look at the sword above them as they were facing the enemies that just showed up. They had absolute trust in the Executive Administrator to take care of the sword.
"Your dragon looks small compared to that sword above us. The sword looks more reliable than your dragon," Clementine did not forget to throw a jab.
Tang Shaoyang did not even listen to her as he had his own thought, ’I guess I have to pull up my weight since you all trust us that much.’
’I haven’t tried it yet in an actual battle, but this might work better.’
His whole body suddenly released the cold air. The temperature around him dropped instantly. Khaya and Anne immediately instructed their team to stay further back because the touch of that cold air was like getting stabbed by a thousand needles.
Tang Shaoyang quickly controlled the cold aura, focusing it on his sword instead. His sword was covered in a cold aura, and there was a small transformation on the Azure Dragon image behind him. Its scales glistened as if they were replaced by ice scales. The Azure Dragon also released the same cold aura that immediately froze everything around it.
The people who maintained the formation suddenly raised their wooden swords, and then they swung them down toward the main base. It was that moment when the giant sword also moved.
"You better be ready..." Clementine was about to remind Tang Shaoyang, but she realized that Tang Shaoyang was not here anymore. She saw Tang Shaoyang at the trajectory of the giant sword.
