Chapter 2020: Change of Plan

"Do we have news from Biya?"

An emotionless voice that contained absolute authority echoed in the dimly lit hall. The voice came from the man who sat on the throne. The throne was set up on the platform, and with the dim lightning, only the silhouette of a man with long hair could be seen.

Meanwhile, thirteen people were on their knees. A sliver of light slid through the small gap behind the throne, illuminating the thirteen robbed figures. They all wore the same outfit, a black robe with a white-colored mask.

One of them answered the inquiry, but it was hard to tell who was speaking. The voice sounded like it came from all around the room. Of course, the figure on the throne knew who replied to him. He recognized his subordinate’s voice.

The Supreme Being stood from the throne as his voice boomed in the hall. The platform where the throne cracked, five out of sixteen pillars cracked, and Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong fell flat on the floor. Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong tried to resist, but the old guardian realized how helpless he was.

The anger was just a split moment before the Supreme Being plopped back on the throne. He closed his eyes and said, "Don’t show your face in front of me until the day. I will kill you if you ever show your useless face again!"

His voice echoed and brought shock waves that collapsed ten pillars. The debris fell over on top of the Guardian, but of course, the debris could not hurt those immortals. They were too strong to be hurt by falling debris.

The thirteen robed figures stood and immediately left the hall, running for their lives.
