Chapter 2102: Heading to the Sacred Realm

The girls rolled their eyes at Tang Shaoyang, but when it came to Tang Shaoyang. It did make sense if he never planned all of this. He might have thought of destroying the three kingdoms, but ended up with two vassals instead.

"How long do you plan to leave now?" After a moment of silence, Li Shuang asked.

Tang Shaoyang was about to say that he didn’t know, but then he realized why she asked. The bulging belly had become obvious, and he would welcome his second and third child almost at the same time. Elin’s pregnancy was about the same month as Li Shuang’s.

Both would be born in the same month, possibly even in the same week, but on different days. It would be ideal if they were born on the same day, but he was not going to complain as long as they could be born healthy and without complications.

Li Shuang asked whether he could return on time before she gave birth.

Tang Shaoyang smiled and kissed her forehead, "Don’t worry. I will return to accompany you, and Elin will give birth to our children. Glodden is staying with Glodden. I can switch places with Glodden anytime, even if I don’t make it in time."

He didn’t want to make a promise since he came to the Sacred World to profit from the war that was about to happen there. A war could last very long, or maybe very short if it was one-sided. It could go both ways, but it would not stop him from accompanying his wives to give birth to their children.

Li Shuang was visibly relieved and nodded understandingly.

"Just give an update to Glodden. That little guy can deliver the news to me right away."

Li Shuang gave him an update about their talk with the Cladeos Emporium. To her surprise, the talk went even smoothly, where the Cladeos Emporium seemed to give up on negotiating on the terms and the split.

That confused Zhang Mengyao and became dubious. The one who took the lead in the negotiation was Elonia’s mother. He remembered how tough Elonia’s mother was in the negotiation. But that toughness was nowhere to be seen in their last meeting.

Tang Shaoyang chuckled, "You don’t need to worry about it. As long as they signed the Divine Contract, then there was nothing to worry about. And I think I know the reason why they act like that."

Li Shuang and the other girls were confused about how Tang Shaoyang knew when he never came to the meeting even once. They had three meetings and came to a conclusion in the third meeting. They didn’t immediately sign the agreement, with the excuse that they needed Tang Shaoyang’s approval even though they had the power to sign the agreement right away.

"The news about my fight with the Shadow Star has spread. I think that might be the reason why. They have finally gained some assurance about my potential as a friend and quickly seal the agreement before the other emporiums or factions with the same mind as them come to us."

Tang Shaoyang was confident that this was the reason why the Cladeos Emporium wanted to seal the agreement with the Tang Empire right away.

Li Shuang nodded understandingly, but she was getting concerned. If the Shadow Star was that big, they would not accept their loss easily. They would come to Tang Shaoyang for revenge in the future.

Tang Shaoyang could read what was in her wife’s mind and assured her, "Don’t worry about the Shadow Star. They will not be able to recover for at least a hundred years. I am saying that if they can recover. There’s a chance they may not be able to recover. The other factions will not stay still when a big faction like Shadow Star weakens."

That assured the girls, and once more, they realized the scale of Tang Shaoyang’s battle was much bigger than they thought, if a fight could influence a big emporium such as Cladeos Emporium.

"Tell the Cladeos Emporium that I will give them access to the Sacred Realm when I return," He added, because he didn’t have access to go there right now.

Li Shuang nodded as they chatted a little bit more as they headed to the housing near the teleportation portal, where Khaya and her family, along with her friends, were waiting for him.

The moment they saw him, they knelt. They plead allegiance to him, reciting the oath of the Snow Elf’s custom. To his surprise, their oaths were worked even though there was no priest to officiate the oath.

Tang Shaoyang called out the dwarves who were busy with their underground project. President Engin looked visibly annoyed, but he suppressed it. He was annoyed, not because Tang Shaoyang disturbed him amidst his new project. He became like that the moment he spotted the Snow Elf.

"Can you bring more dwarves instead next time, Sir? I have noticed lately that you keep bringing more elves. Are you perhaps..."

Before President Engin could finish his words, Tang Shaoyang smacked the back of the President of the Dwarven Confederation.

"Are you being racist right now, Engin!?"

President Engin just rolled his eyes as he brought the Snow Elf to their new home. Li Shuang, Cao Jingyi, Kang Xue, and Wei Xie followed them as they familiarized themselves with the new people. Of course, We Xie had another purpose: to see where he could put the Snow Elf in the Tarrior. That was his job as the Vice Supreme Commander.

Meanwhile, Khaya and Zhang Mengyao stayed behind. Khaya knelt again, this time to Zhang Mengyao, with her head touching the paved road, and apologized for what had happened back in the Tang Empire.

"It’s fine. My husband has explained to me what happened and how everything has nothing to do with you. You are one of us now, and please don’t easily kneel like that. You must stand proud as the Tang Empire’s people from now on!"

Zhang Mengyao helped Khaya to get up. She was flabbergasted by how a God Rank like Khaya willingly knelt to her. She knew it was because of her husband’s status.

Khaya shook her head, "I don’t easily kneel like that, but I do feel guilty for what happened. It happened because of my negligence."

"You don’t need to feel guilty anymore since you have paid the price, no?"

Zhang Mengyao snapped at him and could not believe her husband brought that up. He destroyed her clan. Even though it was deserved, he was not supposed to mention it lightly when Khaya was with them. No matter what happened, Khaya had a deep tie with her clan, and that might hurt her. In a way, she caused the destruction, after all.

"That’s true. Instead of wallowing in guilt, I will dedicate myself to the empire. If you have any task for me and my friends, we are ready to do it!" Khaya nodded and said it with determination.

"You should bring them with you to the Sacred Realm!" Zhang Mengyao was quick with that, "We might not be able to help you with what you want to do at the Sacred Realm, but they sure can!"

Khaya perked up when the Sacred Realm was mentioned. It was one of the famed mysterious realms along with the Divine Realm. Not many knew how to reach that place.

Tang Shaoyang rolled his eyes at how quick-witted his wife was, but he waved his hand at her, "No. I will bring ten people with me, and they are the people I picked to rebuild the Thousand Vows Pavilion."

"And she needs time to settle in her new home with her family. If you want to give them a job, then have them oversee the Dimensional Tower. We only have Ophelius and Ophelia who actively stay there. We need a more active God Rank’s presence there if something bad happens. At the same time, they could get used to Earth as well."

Zhang Mengyao was ready with her reasoning, but she ended up not saying it. Her husband was right. Khaya and her family just grieved, and she was about to send them out for a mission that might take a long time. The discussion was settled with that.

Ten minutes later, President Engin returned with the remaining Snow Elves, and they went to Earth with Zhang Mengyao, leaving him and the dwarf. President Engin nodded at Tang Shaoyang before returning his hole.

Tang Shaoyang stayed there, waiting for his company. He would bring twelve people with him to the Sacred Realm, and they were the people he picked for the Thousand Vows Pavilion’s foundation.

The first one to arrive was Yu, the head of TEAA, along with his assistant and his assistant’s husband. Yu, Kate, and Zhao Zhong arrived together. Then another three arrived: Yan Sheng, Gu Yingjie, and Tian Donghai.

They greeted Tang Shaoyang with a bow, and they looked visibly nervous because they were going on a trip to the God Realm. This was not their realm; they could get here because of Tang Shaoyang. They had not earned the qualification to be here.

The closest one to the God Rank was Zhao Zhong and Tian Donghai, who had reached the Demi-God Rank for more than two months already. Yan Sheng and Gu Yingjie recently reached the Demi-God Rank.

Kate was still in Myth Rank, close to Primordial Rank, and Yu was still at Legend Rank. The two were slow because they dedicated their time to Alchemy, the same reason why he brought them with him. The trip to the Sacred Realm might benefit them more than the others.

Then another three people arrived, and they were actually the vassals of the Tang Empire. The Tachibana Clan sent two of their young generations, Nomiya Tachibana and Tobei Tachibana. The second vassal he picked was Han, and they sent their important figure, Yu Jin Sang, the second strongest after their leader, who also had a Demi-God Rank.

Then the last three arrived, and they were his wives who were interested in the Cultivation. Liang Suyin, Ashley, and Aleesa were the last three people who would accompany him on the trip to the Sacred Realm.
