Chapter 2105: FOOL!
Chapter 2105: FOOL!
"Mind your manners, Uncle Yang. We are working under him now."
Ouyang Biya noticed the irritation on the Head of the Yang Clan. She quickly reminded him that they were now working under Tang Shaoyang, before it became a big misunderstanding. She didn’t think someone like Uncle Yang would be summoned as a spirit if he were killed.
That shocked Yang Bao, shocking because they were supposed to be under the Heaven Founder’s protection. That explained why the Bloodshadow Pavilion attacked the Yang Clan. He wanted to ask why, but he could not ask it in front of the man he didn’t know. The way Lady Ouyang acted carefully around the man, this man might be as strong as the Supreme Lord of Heaven Founder.
Ouyang Biya repeated her story that Tang Shaoyang didn’t pay attention to. It was a story between her and the Yang Clan, their relation, the reason why he called someone below her Uncle.
The Yang Clan was built by Ouyang Biya when she rose in status as the Heaven Founder. The clan was not meant to be a tool for her vengeance. It was a repayment to Yang Bao, who safely brought her out of the Ouyang Family during the attack.
Yang Bao was one of the disciples in the Ouyang Family, not her actual uncle, related by blood. Yang Bao and his ten subordinates saved her from the Ximen and Situ families’ people.
In their honor, she used her authority to get this place and establish the Yang Clan. She never thought of using the Yang Clan as a tool for his vengeance, and she made sure to convey the message to Tang Shaoyang.
She was aware of Tang Shaoyang’s goal of coming to the Sacred Realm, but she hoped Tang Shaoyang would not involve the Yang Clan in his battle, or whatever he wanted to do in the Sacred Realm. She hoped he didn’t involve or use the clan.
"That’s too late, no?" Tang Shaoyang questioned.
"If you don’t want them to get involved, you shouldn’t show yourself to them. You should just kill the Bloodshadow Pavilion and leave."
Ouyang Biya didn’t understand what Tang Shaoyang meant. It didn’t matter if she showed herself or not. Her request was not to involve the clan in the war between the Heaven Founder and the Murim Alliance.
"It’s too late because we already got tangled with the clan. The people who ordered the Bloodshadow Pavilion to destroy the Yang Clan will come back. They will send a stronger group, and they will torture every member of the clan just to get information about us. That’s what His Majesty means." Ashley gave a more detailed explanation.
Yang Bao and his people in the room were shocked when the ash-haired lady addressed Tang Shaoyang as His Majesty. That told them that the man in front of them was royalty. He knew Ouyang Lady would not just work under anyone, but it was surprising to hear the man’s actual status.
"We are not suspecting their loyalty, Lady Ouyang. The Yang Clan’s head might be able to endure the torture and not say a single thing about us, but what about the other who had seen us? Are you confident they will not crumble under the intense pressure?" Liang Suyin added, and she was more respectful as she mentioned the problem.
"And whatever our next course of action, the Yang Clan is already tangled with us. The people behind the Bloodshadow Pavilion will not leave them alone," Tang Shaoyang added, "So, what do you want to do now?"
Ouyang Biya realized that it might be true. Even if she left them alone, the Bloodshadow Pavilion would come for vengeance. Ashley was right about it, either that the people behind the Bloodshadow Pavilion would want to know who saved the Yang Clan.
She easily figured out that one of the Elders or even maybe one of the Guardians of the Heaven Founder was behind this attack. The only ones who knew about her death were them.
Gianni voiced his idea when he noticed the troubled look on Ouyang Biya’s face, "One of the solutions is to evacuate the Yang Clan’s people somewhere else."
That was an easy solution. They could use teleportation to move somewhere else, a place far from the Heaven Founder’s influence.
"I don’t think it’s possible when we have hundreds of people with us. We would be too conspicuous, and the Heaven Founder would not let that happen since we have been enjoying one of their resources for quite some time. It would lead to a bigger conflict," Yang Bao immediately rejected the idea. That was right, he rejected it, not Ouyang Biya.
Gianni was still confused as to why Yang Bao adamantly rejected the safest solution he had to offer.
"If you are afraid it will be too conspicuous, then you can move in a batch instead. That will reduce the suspicion."
Yang Bao was about to answer that, but Ouyang Biya interfered before the misunderstanding got deeper, "Moving out itself is the problem, Sir. The Sacred Realm doesn’t have a teleportation portal."
"We detest the teleportation portal because we consider it a foreign magic that was used against us in the war back then in the God Realm. Of course, we have a teleportation scroll that will help, but that’s too expensive here. I have a few, but I don’t think the Yang Clan has one," Ouyang Biya explained.
She had the teleportation, but that was buried forever in her inventory when she died. So, no teleportation scroll would assist the Yang Clan to evacuate.
"That’s right. The teleportation portal is frowned upon in the Sacred Realm. The Murim Alliance even banned that tool in their territory."
The explanations stunned Tang Shaoyang and the others. After a few moments, Tang Shaoyang, Gianni, Yu, Jovrick, and Nikolas said the exact same word at the same time.
"FOOL!"
That shocked Yang Bao and his retainers in the room, not expecting to be scolded like that by strangers they had just met today. They felt that those words were for them.
Gianni clicked his tongue, frustrated and mad at these stubborn people. They refused to use something convenient for them in everything and every situation. It was not just about traveling, but also about the war.
They could send reinforcement swiftly, or they could retreat the moment they were about to suffer a big loss. The teleportation portal was a vital tool in a war, and the people in the Sacred Realm didn’t use it just because they lost to the people who used it.
"That explained why the Sacred Realm easily lost the war. You guys are indeed fools," Tang Shaoyang added a jab to the Yang Clan’s people. That upset them, but no one dared to say anything to Tang Shaoyang because of Ouyang Biya’s declaration that he was their new Master.
"This is quite annoying..."
Tang Shaoyang realized how bad it was when he found there was no teleportation realm. If he were by himself, he could move around freely. With his speed, the journey with no portal was just a slight inconvenience to him.
However, he brought twelve people with him who were not even of a God Rank. He didn’t even know if they could fly or not. Summoning Aerelion was a solution for their traveling, but Aerelion was too big, and they would draw a lot of attention.
That was never his goal. He wanted to quietly join the war and got some materials for sacrifice while at it. At the same time, he wanted to deepen his understanding of cultivation. This was the best place to learn more about the cultivation.
"What’s another solution?" Ouyang Biya accepted being called a fool and asked Gianni for another solution. The old man mentioned one of the solutions earlier. It meant he had more than one solution for the Yang Clan’s safety.
"It’s another easy solution. The Tang Empire will take over the Yang Clan’s territory and turn this place into our base while we are staying in the Sacred Realm. What happens if we leave later? The Cladeos Emporium could replace us to protect this territory. They want access to the Sacred Realm anyway."
Gianni voiced his second solution, which he leaned towards more than the first one. The first and the second plan would end up with them taking this territory since this place had a passage to the God Realm.
The second solution would be just more convenient because they would have people to take care of this place for them.
"That’s the better solution," Mathias agreed with his Great Grandfather, "We can protect them while we are here, and we have permanent access to the God Realm."
Ouyang Biya hoped for the clan not to get involved, but this would allow the clan to get involved more deeply. That was the opposite of her request, but as they said, it was too late. Unless they had a way to evacuate the Yang Clan’s people to somewhere out of the Heaven Founder’s reach.
"It seems we have to stop our little discussion," Tang Shaoyang stood up and went out to the same courtyard, looking in the direction of the entrance to this town. "We have guests. They are the people from the Bloodshadow Pavilion."
