Chapter 2173: Chicken Noodle Soup
Chapter 2173: Chicken Noodle Soup
Tang Shaoyang finalized his idea, creating a stable for his horse in the grass field region. He made five stallions and a mane, and both had distinctive colors that distinguished them.
Four stallions had a red-brownish coat, with a thick crest that looked like a mane. It was almost three meters tall, with well-defined muscles on its legs and chest. The four stallions had white stripes on their heads, but were different in length.
The last stallion had the same build, but it had a pitch-black coat and white tails, and red stripes on its forehead. The fifth is somehow different in color, and slightly taller and bigger than the other four stallions.
The mares were smaller and shorter than the stallion, but not by much. The four mares had chestnut-colored coats with similar white stripes on their heads. Their ankles also had white coats.
The last mare had a snow-white coat; from its crest down to the tail was white with no blemish. It is also bigger than the other four mares, but still smaller compared to the stallion.
Now he looked at his horses, they were more like a monster than an animal, he imagined. Their hoof, for some reason, was made of dark steel, and they were much faster than the actual horse. It was like watching an F1 race when the horse raced through the grass field.
After setting the horse, he went to the snowy region and created the polar bear, snow owl, and arctic fox. As he guessed, what he created became monster-like, at least in size.
The snow owl was twice as big with an ice-like crown on its head and also piercing golden eyes. The arctic fox had a singular horn on its head, and surprisingly, the size was similar to that of the actual arctic fox. The polar bear was massive, and there was a black, scale-like armor on its chest. Those three occupied the snowy region.
However, the biggest upgrade was the massive clock in the sky. He made a faded clock, so he knew how much time passed when he was inside the Soul Palace. He would come out to check
He then added Koi into the pond on the floating island. Then he went back to the snowy region, creating a forest at the border of the sea and the grass field region. Then he added monkeys and rabbits to that forest.
Since he was going to fight the Soul Cultivator expert, he wanted his souls to be as strong as possible. Time passed as he kept filling his Soul Palaces. He wanted to fill his Soul Palace to maximum capacity, but he decided to stop on his fourth day.
It was still with the same concern, afraid that adding too many animals and modifying stuff would negatively impact his Soul Palace. He decided to stop after a week of Soul Cultivation, thinking that should be enough to fend off those demonic cultivators.
Technically, he didn’t sleep for seven days straight since he was awake inside his Soul Palace, but his physical body was resting. The moment he woke up from his Soul Palace, he felt refreshed and sharp.
Zara was standing in front of him, alone. She came to check on him, and coincidentally, he stopped at the same time.
The Heaven Founder truly didn’t make their move, confirming their suspicion that they would only move when they located him. That meant he needed to put himself out to draw them out.
At the same time, the demonic cultivators had been wreaking havoc in the Radiant Blossom City. There were several murder cases every day that related to them, yet the Murim Alliance did nothing to those wild demonic cultivators.
That strengthened the suspicion that the Murim Alliance was in cahoots with the Heaven Founder to get rid of the Thousand Vows Pavilion, and especially Tang Shaoyang.
Alliance Leader Zhong kept asking Zara and Avyn to meet Tang Shaoyang as well in the last four days. But Zhong Tian Yun sent Old Zhou instead of coming by himself in the last two days.
"It’s time to confirm our suspicion!"
Tang Shaoyang got up, stretching out. There was something he was curious about: his cultivation rank. He went through Heavenly Body Transformation, opening his meridian, and Soul Cultivation. If he followed the Sacred Realm’s system, he would have gone through several breakthroughs, skipping a few realms by now.
"What’s wrong?" Zara asked as she noticed something.
"I am curious what my cultivation rank is right now and about to ask you to check for me, but..." Tang Shaoyang didn’t need to finish his words as Zara got what he meant.
She was a spirit; she didn’t have the skill to check his cultivation rank. But he met Liang Suyin after, and she checked his cultivation rank for him.
"You are in the Heavenly Emperor Realm, but I don’t know the exact rank."
The result was not accurate, maybe because of the gap between them. But that was enough to show his progress as he skipped five realms.
The Detection originally showed him as a Foundation Establishment Realm. After around ten days, he skipped five realms: Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Soul Transformation, and Void Realm. He was quite disappointed, thinking he might have reached the God Realm.
"I would like to have a few more days to learn one or two offensive techniques..." He muttered in a low voice.
"Inform Alliance Leader Zhong that I will meet him today!"
He decided to see the end of this matter. His concern remained the same, not wanting the other Executive Administrators and their factions to enter the Sacred Realm.
Within the following hour, the restaurant emptied. Tang Shaoyang enjoyed the food while waiting for the Alliance Leader. The food was good, but his wife still made better food.
Maybe not the food itself, but because Elin knew his taste buds, she made the food tailored to his taste buds. He still enjoyed the roasted duck and spicy tofu with his chicken noodle soup.
He finished the noodles and drank the broth. The moment he placed his bowl on the table, Alliance Leader Zhong arrived with Old Zhou.
Tang Shaoyang smiled, "My cook makes good chicken noodle soup, do you want some, Alliance Leader Zhong?"
