Alderman Fiodor merely let out a grunt as the pieces merged again. His brain and heart were cut into pieces along with his body, but not enough to kill him. However, the pain was real; he could not die, but he felt the pain of being cut into hundreds of fine pieces.

Tang Shaoyang showed no reaction to his immortal body, as if it were to be expected that he would not die after that. The blades stopped attacking him after he discovered they could not harm him. A sensible decision, he might say.

His magma hands were still working to pass through those twenty blades, but it seemed to be futile. He didn’t give up, adding the number of the magma hands to fifty. He wanted to pull Tang Shaoyang into his magma.

Tang Shaoyang matched him, forming more blades, a hundred of them. The annoying part was that Tang Shaoyang had fine control over the one hundred blades.

Both of them were staring at each other, but the action below continued without them looking at it. Annoyed for failing to break away from those blades, Alderman chose a different method.

If he could not bring Tang Shaoyang down to the magma, then he would bring the magma up to Tang Shaoyang. The sea of magma rose to the sky, forming a massive wave toward Tang Shaoyang.

Those blades could not stop the overflowing magma. Just as he thought he might get Tang Shaoyang into his hand, his enemy disappeared. The two magma hands were not enough to stop him.

Alderman quickly realized it was not a movement, a teleportation. There were a few skills he knew with similar effect: Blink, Spatial Movement, and Space Step. That skill was rare, but it was not something that hard to get for an Executive Administrator.

He charged his energy into his hands because he knew Tang Shaoyang would appear near him. Sure enough, the greenhorn appeared right above him.

He swung his fist upward, and to his surprise, Tang Shaoyang matched him. His enemy’s hand was covered in golden energy and clashed against his magma fist.

They were evenly matched as his magma spurted out in all directions while the golden energy scattered. Then he followed with another punch from his left hand, and again, Tang Shaoyang met it with his palm.

Finally, they got into close combat. He sent a barrage of fists toward Tang Shaoyang, which was blocked by the wing or the palm. But for the first time, he managed to push Tang Shaoyang back.

That was when he noticed the charred marks on Tang Shaoyang’s hands, wings, and scales. He realized that his magma was strong enough to hurt Tang Shaoyang. He just needed to be patient.

In these close exchanges, his magma hands were still trying to grab Tang Shaoyang from below. But the dark blades blocked them off. Those hands were controlled by the Magmus Authority. That was how he had perfect control while fighting Tang Shaoyang up close.

He was surprised that Tang Shaoyang still maintained such perfect control over the blades while fighting him. It was not just one or two blades, but a hundred blades.

However, he was wrong about the flawless control over the blades because he found an opening as his fist landed on Tang Shaoyang’s chest. He was wrong about that flawless control. It seemed it took quite a toll to control those blades while fighting him. That hit sent Tang Shaoyang flying backward, and he didn’t miss the momentum.

He used Blink and appeared right above Tang Shaoyang with a grin on his face. But to his surprise, he saw a grin on Tang Shaoyang as well. That was when he realized he had fallen into a trap. His fist hit empty air as Tang Shaoyang used a similar skill, appearing behind him.

Tang Shaoyang’s right hand was covered in golden energy. It was something he often saw in the cultivator. Then the fist hit his back, pierced through to his chest, where his heart was supposed to be. Of course, there was no heart there.

"It seems it’s you who falls into my trap!"

Alderman caught Tang Shaoyang’s hand that pierced his chest. The hole in his chest quickly healed up, and he caught Tang Shaoyang. The hand was firmly planted on the chest.

"BURN! BURN AND DIE!"

He screamed as the magma bubbled harder, the temperature rose, and black smoke billowed from Tang Shaoyang’s hand. The black dragon scales started to melt and burn the flesh beneath.

Just as he thought he got Tang Shaoyang this time, he suddenly felt a huge force from his hand, trying to pull away from him. However, he was not going to let it happen as he held his hand firmly.

The force didn’t weaken; in fact, it was getting stronger. That was when the hand snapped, ripped apart. Half of the hand remained on his chest, but Tang Shaoyang managed to get away from him. He sacrificed his hand.

Alderman realized he was too naive to think he could catch a God Rank just by holding one hand. He would do the same if he were in Tang Shaoyang’s position.

For a God Rank with an enormous Vitality Attribute, a quick regeneration was common. On top of that, Tang Shaoyang had a dragon bloodline, a creature that was known for their insane regeneration as well.

The hand in his hand lost its power and energy as it quickly burned into ashes. As he turned around, Tang Shaoyang had regenerated half of his missing hand.

’I guess I have no choice but to use it.’

Magmus Suppression

It was part of the Magmus Authority, a skill that could only be used when he activated the Magmus Authority. The reason he didn’t use it right away was due to the limitation. He could only use the skill a few times because it consumed his life force, consuming his Vitality and Strength attributes.

Tang Shaoyang’s figure forcefully plunged down. He thought suppression was enough to send Tang Shaoyang down into the sea of magma, but that was not enough.

Tang Shaoyang stopped a few meters above the magma, holding on to the suppression.

Alderman clicked his tongue as he used Blink, appearing on top of Tang Shaoyang. He doubled his hand and slammed toward Tang Shaoyang’s back.

The cracking noise of breaking bones could be heard as Tang Shaoyang’s figure disappeared into the sea of magma with a splash.
