Tang Shaoyang looked at the screen in front of him. Especially the list from Arnain. He didn’t recognize the name, but he recognized their factions. A year or maybe two years ago, he fought with one of their allies, Shadow Star.

He did a quick background check, and the information was easily found. As he suspected, the Blood Star, Serpent Star, and Silver Star were part of the Ten Stars Accord.

He thought Ebbe Telines and Loke Ponteus had nothing to do with the second War of Worlds. The only involvement might be giving out his information to the Ten Stars Accord. Or else where else the Ten Stars Accord got the name of his world and other details to issue a challenge.

The motive was clear: a grudge. His fight with the Shadow Star brought chaos to them. When they tried to move their main army, their enemy struck them unprepared. He didn’t know if the Ten Stars Accord had resolved their issue, but that made them busy instead of focusing on him, until now.

TEID did some digging about Arnain just for confirmation that Loke Ponteus hired the Blood Star, Serpent Star, and Silver. The Ten Stars Accord was here because they were hired, not because of their grudge. Arnain belonged to Ebbe Telines, and it was Loke Ponteus who hired these mercenaries.

While the Ten Stars Accord didn’t come to resolve their grudge, they would gladly take the job. For them, it was a mixture of business and vengeance. The chance of earning wealth, a favor from two Executive Administrators, and a chance to kill the person who had sullied the name of the Ten Stars Accord.

"Will we get the chance to fight, Brother?" Lu An’s question broke Tang Shaoyang away from his thoughts. The other three also looked at him. There was a hint of eagerness in their eyes, but he shook his head.

"You will get the chance if they can force me to surrender."

Zhang Mengyao rolled her eyes, and Lu An let out a sigh. Wrath just flopped his head down, continuing his nap, and Moonsong didn’t dare to openly show his dissatisfaction.

[1st duel: Tang Shaoyang (Tang Empire) vs Milecor (Serpent Star)]

Tang Shaoyang appeared on the same battleground. He found out that the challenge could tweak the battleground for the duel. This open field was the default. This time, he specifically requested this battleground.

There was no spot for hiding, an all-open arena with a void at the edge. This was the perfect ground for him.

His left hand was holding the Azure Dragon Blade. No skills were active since it was prohibited to use skills before the first duel.

He expected his opponent to waste time again, just like before. To his delight, his opponent didn’t use the same boring tactic.

Milecor appeared twenty meters ahead of him, holding a curved blade and a round shield with custom armor that covered his chest. His opponent was not a human, a beastman. He had a resemblance to a dragon, but he knew this one was not a dragon. They were of lizard descent for sure, a lizardman, not a dragon.

The lizardmen were glistening with their green scale under the miniature sun in the space. Its eyes matched the scale, slit, and sharp.

Not long after the lizardmen appeared, the ten-second cooldown started.

"It’s my honor to fight an Executive Administrator," Milecor broke the silence with his raspy voice.

Tang Shaoyang didn’t really pay attention to what his opponent said, bending his body forward slightly with his right hand on the handle. It was the same stance as his previous War of the Worlds’ first duel.

"I have seen your skills, and I will not fall for the same skill," Milecor added.

The lizardmen carried out a task to kill the Ten Stars Accord’s enemy. Killing the person who destroyed the Shadow Star would elevate their stained status. However, he didn’t accept the job to recover the Ten Stars Accord’s honor, but for the reward.

Loke Ponteus promised him a dragon legacy that would turn him into a real dragon, not just a dragon’s descendant. That was the payment for the job, and he would do everything for it. A legacy that would help him with the transformation, not something he could buy even in the God Realm. But the Administrator had all the knowledge, and it was not hard to provide him with the knowledge.

Tang Shaoyang kept his focus, tuning out whatever the lizardmen said. He didn’t care if the lizardmen knew his move. He would keep honing his favorite move.

His unique energy in his dantian and the Chaos Energy poured into his sword. The two energies worked in harmony as a materialization of a golden dragon (Wise) formed, swimming around his sword.

As the number turned into [Start], his figure blurred into motion as he drew his sword out. His figure was spotted in front of the lizardmen in the next instant. The dragon’s roar followed the slash.

Having watched the previous duel, Milecor was prepared for what was coming for him. His shield was glowing along with its enchantment. The dragon’s roar caught him off guard, but he was ready as he infused his skill into the shield.

It went with a boom, and Milecor’s eyes widened as he slid backward for ten meters. He was getting pushed back from the clash, and his left hand was trembling from the impact. As the clash aftermath dispersed, Milecor noticed Tang Shaoyang’s figure fading into the background before completely disappearing.

Tang Shaoyang followed with Heavenly Ethereal Shift, completely erasing his physical body and presence. In that phase, he activated Azure Dragon Blade’s exclusive skill, Azure Dragon Descent.

The sound of the gate screeching open resounded—followed by a rain of golden brilliance from above.

Milecor looked up and found a massive gate that radiated in a divine aura. Two dragons perched above the gate. The one on the right was an azure dragon, and the one on the left was a golden dragon.

He felt it, the pressure. A massive pressure that even affected a God Rank like him. His expression turned grim because the pressure was suffocating. He didn’t need to rely on his senses to find out how dangerous the next attack was.

His round shield transformed into a green-scaled shield. Two slit-dragon-eyes opened on the shield. The gaze was piercing and contained the dragon aura within it.

In that moment, he saw a figure bathed in golden brilliance. The figure was above him, forty meters above, and he recognized the figure, Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyang held his sword upward, and then that was when the two dragons descended. The two dragons coiled together as they descended, forming even more intense pressure. The ground shook, then cracked as the roar resounded once more.

As the two coiling dragons reached Tang Shaoyang, his figure shot down, slashing his sword down. A bright slash shone, slashing down toward where the lizardmen were.
