Even so, Tang Shaoyang decided to visit the Dragon Realm. The visit was more than just having a conversation with the Stygian Wither Clan. He needed to probe the Dragon Realm to see where their stance was when one of their factions engaged in a war.

The Metarnian Clan of the Nirvana Alliance was based in the Dragon Realm. He eventually had to visit the Dragon Realm if he wanted to wipe out the Nirvana Alliance. On top of that, he also wanted to see the Dragon Monarch and the other four Dragon Guardians.

After the Nirvana Alliance and the God Order, he might have to fight his way to the Dragon Realm. It was not just for his promise with Baccara, but also for Avyn. Her ancestor was once the ruling dragon in the Dragon Realm.

She didn’t say the details of what happened, only a piece like how her ancestor siding with humans ended up getting kicked out of the Dragon Realm. On top of that, he tried to find a clue about Avyn’s whereabouts as well.

Avyn was categorized as a spirit, but she was actually still alive, living in a desolate world. Her situation was similar to an abandoned world, but it was not an abandoned world infested with the Calamity and Void Creatures.

Tang Shaoyang looked for information about her world with his privilege as an Administrator, but he got nothing. He could not get anything when Avyn didn’t want to cooperate. She was satisfied with her current situation, having a spot in the Spirit World and also her own world when she wanted to be alone.

Avyn seemed to be fine with it, even asking Tang Shaoyang not to investigate her situation further. Tang Shaoyang knew Avyn was worried about him. Especially when he made a lot of enemies. She was worried about her, hence why she said she didn’t want him to investigate further.

That didn’t stop her from continuing the investigation. Avyn was part of his wife, and he would investigate her situation. Even if she didn’t want the vengeance, he would still find a way to get her out of her desolate world.

That was another reason for his visit to the Dragon Realm. Maybe the Dragon Monarch or the four Dragon Guardians might have a clue about her clan, Kankara’Xeo. Or maybe the Dragon Realm was part of the force that killed her ancestor.

His priority was to get her out of the desolate world, or maybe to connect Earth to her world or the God Realm. He was determined to find the way to free her.

That was why he took the chance to visit the Dragon Realm even though there was a possibility it was a trap. He didn’t tell Li Shuang about Avyn’s situation, keeping it secret from Avyn, not from Li Shuang.

Of course, he assured Li Shuang that even if it was a trap, he had a way to escape from the trap. He could switch places with his spirit. Glodden and his shadow spirit were staying with his daughters, and he could switch places with them anytime. He needed to secure access to the Dragon Realm first for now.
