Cheng Su called Qi Fenglian, only recounting what she saw and heard without any embellishment, telling her like it was a joke.

Qi Fenglian just said one sentence, "I know," and then hung up the phone.

Cheng Su had no intention to make decisions for Qi Fenglian; she’d merely tell her what kind of person it was. Adults should have their own opinions.

A few days later, Cheng Su’s school held final exams. She skipped even the graduation ceremony and prepared to go to Guangcheng with Ning Ge.

However, Ying Xiaoya joined their group.

Ying Xiaoya had been dating Xiao Pinshan for over half a year and finally, due to reality, they fell out.

It was Xiao Pinshan who proposed the breakup, citing that they were not suitable for each other.

Ying Xiaoya was both shocked and unexpectedly hurt but stubbornly said, "You better not regret it."

The heartbroken person is very sad. Seeing Cheng Su and the others going to Guangcheng, Ying Xiaoya, who hadn’t been there, asked Cheng Su, and joined them to get some change of scenery.

On the train, no matter how Cheng Su and Ning Ge tried to amuse her, Ying Xiaoya remained sullen, her eyes red like a still pond, often hugging her knees and staring blankly out the window.

Ying Xiaoya replied, "Out of vast options, I choose the one, you haven’t been in a relationship, so you don’t know this feeling?"

Ning Ge was softened by her sentimental words, exchanged a look with Cheng Su, and said, "Even so, you shouldn’t act like you’re soulless! Just say the word, and I’ll find you a man!"

Ying Xiaoya rolled her eyes at him, "Don’t bother me!"

"Hey, you’re just..."

Cheng Su pulled Ning Ge aside, shook her head, and said, "Forget it, heartbroken people are still suffering because they haven’t met someone new. Once they do, they’ll be fine without your consolation."

Ning Ge raised an eyebrow, gave a thumbs up, while Ying Xiaoya glared at Cheng Su, then looked back out the train window.

They had promised to be together for a lifetime, but in the end, it was he who let go first.

His words sounded nice - for her own good, she deserved a better man, and shouldn’t waste her youth on an old man like him.

Ying Xiaoya’s tears started to fall.

A tissue appeared before her; she took it and wiped carelessly, crumpling it, another one offered; she took it and looked along the hand, it was Cheng Su.

Ying Xiaoya burst into tears, fell into her arms, and said, "He said we’d get married, have a son in the future, but now he’s the one backing down. How can he do this, how can he treat me like this, what’s wrong with me, sob sob!"

Cheng Su looked at Ning Ge helplessly, patting her arm, and agreed, "Yes, he’s truly a bastard, blind, didn’t know what he had, he’ll regret it in the future!"

"He will regret it, he surely will," Ying Xiaoya nodded while crying, "But even though he should regret it, why is my heart still in pain? Sob sob, I can’t take this pain!"

"How about I go back and beat him up!" Ning Ge said irritably.

Ying Xiaoya’s sobbing paused, then she burst into big tears and pointed at him, "Even you’re bullying me!"

Ning Ge was dumbfounded; he was clearly trying to stand up for her, wasn’t he!
