The whole family was running around for Qi Fengping’s mess. Naturally, Father Qi had to find out Zhou Qiang’s whereabouts. His reason was that he had previously asked Zhou Qiang for help and hadn’t thanked him yet, and now that he’s gone, he just wanted to ask around.

Meanwhile, the Qi family was also in a state of gloom and doom.

Cheng Su nodded, "It’s hard for you to go alone. How about I go with you tomorrow?"

"I’ll go with Dad, sister-in-law, you’re a woman," Qi Jianguo interjected.

"Let Jianguo go with me. It’s quite far to Tong County," Father Qi thought for a moment and agreed with Qi Jianguo’s suggestion.

Cheng Su could only let it go, hesitated for a moment, and then asked, "Dad, do you think we should tell Taiguo about this? See what he thinks?"

"Yes, contact Taiguo," Mother Qi finally remembered, straightening her back with a jolt.

Cheng Su recalled that Qi Taiguo had mentioned possibly going to holiday preparedness, so she said, "He’s not there, maybe he went for holiday preparedness, he should be back tomorrow!" She felt a slight unease, having just completed a mission and he still needed to go for holiday preparedness?

Mother Qi couldn’t hide her disappointment.

"I’ll call again later!" Cheng Su said.

"Forget it, let’s go to Tong County tomorrow and see what’s going on before making any plans!" Father Qi said tiredly.

The whole family had not a trace of a smile, even the dinner was tasteless. After tidying up, they each returned to their rooms to rest. Yet when Cheng Su got up in the middle of the night, she found the lights still on in her in-laws’ room and could faintly hear their conversation, she couldn’t help but sigh.
