Chapter 2096: It's Not Up to You Whether You're Willing
Song Jiaying coaxed her son to sleep and came out to see Ning Ge still lying on the sofa. She couldn’t help but frown as she glanced at the time on the wall; it was ten o’clock.
“Why haven’t you left yet?” She walked to the table, poured herself a glass of water, and drank it.
“That Huo Zheng, he came to work at your hospital as a doctor because of you, right?” Ning Ge answered irrelevantly.
Song Jiaying almost spat out her water and said, “What nonsense are you talking about? He’s a reputable doctor with ambitions.”
“Having ambitions doesn’t change the fact he’s human and a man with desires. I can tell at a glance his intentions aren’t pure, he’s definitely here for you!” Ning Ge snorted coldly.
Song Jiaying sneered, “Don’t think everyone is like you. He was invited back by our director multiple times. Not like you — truly cunning and complex!”
“I am indeed. I came for you, or why else would I be here?” Ning Ge admitted openly.
Song Jiaying was stuck, unable to reply, and only managed to put on a stern face, “Leave, I need to sleep!”
Ning Ge stood up, approached her, and grabbed her hand. The cup in Song Jiaying’s hand wobbled, and the water splashed out, wetting the front of her chest.
“Ning Ge!” Song Jiaying gritted her teeth.
Ning Ge glanced at her, his eyes quickly turning deep and dark. Under the white shirt was a black lace-trimmed bra, with a couple of buttons missing, looking quite seductive.
He swallowed, then looked at her and leaned closer, “I’m not leaving tonight!”
Song Jiaying’s expression changed.
“Ning Ge, you promised you wouldn’t act recklessly!” Her ears turned warm.
Ning Ge grinned with wicked charm, “I did promise not to act recklessly, but I can act properly, you also said you’d only agree willingly, so I’ll make you willing!”
“You, I’m not willing!” Song Jiaying turned her head away.
“That’s not up to you, it’s up to your body,” Ning Ge leaned in and caught her lips.
Over the years, Song Jiaying had been teased by Ning Ge, bullied by him, yet every time she was unwilling, he would hold back. If she was reluctant, he wouldn’t push it, though kissing and such— it wasn’t like they hadn’t experienced it.
Now, his breath enveloped her, just like in the past, making her heart race.
A kiss blurred her vision; hearing laughter above, she regained some clarity only to realize she was already pressed under him on the sofa.
Song Jiaying’s face turned crimson; she hurriedly pushed him away, “Ning Ge, you bastard!”
Ning Ge grabbed her hand, “You’re dishonest and insincere; clearly your body wants me and craves me, why won’t you admit it? Why torture me, and yourself?”
“Bullshit, I don’t!” Song Jiaying yelled, even blurting out a curse.
Ning Ge wagged his finger, “See, you’re being stubborn again. Who was it that draped an arm around my neck just now? Whose body leaned against mine!”
Infuriated, Song Jiaying gritted her teeth, her eyes red, “Ning Ge, are you pleased? Teasing me, playing with me, gives you a sense of achievement, doesn’t it!”
Over these years, Ning Ge hadn’t failed to learn her temperament. Hearing this, he knew she was angry, she’d curiously opened all her defenses and rejected anyone coming close.
He looked at her, clearly seeing his presence in her eyes, couldn’t help but reach out to touch her hair, and sighed, “Jiaying, it’s been four years, I’ve been chasing after you for four years, whatever tests you wanted, you’ve seen how I treat you. So why can’t you acknowledge me? How many more years do I have to chase before you relent?”
