Chapter 1303: Chapter 534: Success! The First Eye of Annihilation!
Su Anyong simply waved his hand, giving the Heavenly Tomb Special Forces a break.
Over the next two days, the entire Heavenly Tomb Army learned that Instructor Su’s son was their new Breeder. Furthermore, this little Breeder Su would be entering the Heavenly Tomb alongside them. Right now, he was actively figuring out a way to evolve the Eye Demon Pet Beasts that the majority of the Heavenly Tomb Army possessed.
Since the soldiers couldn’t calm their minds, training wouldn’t have been very effective anyway. They might as well rest during this intense Breeding phase and observe Su Ping’s Breeding process while they were at it.
That night, the Ghost Tide did not appear. Or rather, even if it had, Su Ping had no intention of participating. All of his attention was completely focused on Breeding the Destruction Eye Demon.
Even though the Breeding Method was already finalized, facing Master Yin Luo’s continuous inquiries, Su Ping still needed to share and explain his Breeding concepts in detail.
Of course, the core concept was actually quite simple. It was like drawing a target around an arrow that had already been fired. If he couldn’t even manage that, he would be better off banging his head against a wall. Besides, with the correct answer as a reference, Su Ping easily justified his methods using his own Breeding theories.
He spoke so logically and convincingly that Master Yin couldn’t help but nod repeatedly. Su Ping’s status as a Genius Breeder needed no further proof. Therefore, his monstrous performance right now didn’t strike the crowd as completely unbelievable. It felt as if this was exactly what he was supposed to be capable of.
Because of this, Su Ping didn’t need to care too much about what others thought. As a result, the Breeding process for the Eye of Annihilation went smoother than he could have ever imagined. This was true even though the Eye Demon he named "Big Eye" didn’t have particularly good Talent.
On the first day, it stared directly at the sun for a full five hours. On the second day, it stared for an entire day, coupled with the continuous use of Sun Spring Water as an auxiliary Breeding item. Even so, it wasn’t until noon on the third day—after staring at the sun for more than seventeen hours in total—that a specific Skill finally emerged:
[Light Concentration (Beginner): A basic Light System Skill. It passively attracts and concentrates ambient light onto the user. Typically found on Light System Artifact Pet Beasts, it accelerates Energy recovery to a certain extent while providing a minor light projection effect.]
It was an incredibly ordinary Skill. However, Su Ping knew exactly which Light System Device it usually appeared on. It belonged to the Light System Elite Level Pet Beast: the Concentrating Ring Lens. The Concentrating Ring Lens was a Pet Beast similar to a magnifying glass, capable of concentrating light to enhance the power of certain effects. Now, this Skill had appeared on a completely unrelated Eye Demon. This was proof enough that Su Ping’s Breeding modifications were yielding results.
With the second phase complete, the rest of the Breeding for the Eye of Annihilation wouldn’t take much time. However, the next steps required extreme caution. A single mistake wouldn’t just waste the past three days of preparation—it could also endanger Big Eye’s life.
At that moment, quite a few members of the Heavenly Tomb Army were sitting by the training grounds, watching Su Ping and the others who stood right in the center under the bright sun. Seeing Su Ping’s serious expression, Li Feng instinctively wanted to shoo the spectators away, but Su Ping stopped him.
"No need, let them watch if they want to. Master Yin, are the items ready?"
"They’re ready!" Yin Luo replied, pulling an oversized vat from his Beast Taming Space.
Inside the vat, colorful liquid rippled. Under the sunlight, a miniature rainbow even formed above the surface. It was a concoction of Sun Spring Water, Rainbow Dew, Life Water, and other resources. All of them belonged to the Light System and Life Series.
To an Eye Demon, this vat of liquid was not a tempting, precious resource. In fact, it was essentially a vat of poison—one that would take half its life, if it didn’t kill it outright. If it weren’t for the innate sense of affinity radiating from Su Ping, along with its bizarre mix of fear and fanaticism toward him, the Eye Demon probably would have thrown in the towel during the sun-gazing sessions over the past few days.
Now, faced with this massive vat of ’poison’ and Su Ping’s command, the Eye Demon reluctantly leaped into it despite its resistance. Then, it unleashed its Light Concentration Ability with all its might.
Suddenly, the large vat seemed to transform into a light source, shining with a terrifyingly bright intensity.
Su Ping furrowed his brows and decisively activated his Spirit Vision Eye. Beneath the blinding light, the true situation inside the vat finally came into view.
As expected, under these intense conditions, the Undead Series Eye Demon didn’t even have the chance to wail. Its giant eyeball simply rolled backward, turning completely white—it had clearly passed out. Immediately after, under the devastation of this completely opposing Power, its surrounding Undead body began to emit wisps of pitch-black smoke, showing signs of imminent collapse.
Su Ping understood that Big Eye’s Realm only barely met the Evolution requirements for the Eye of Annihilation; its Realm had not yet reached its Peak state. Because of this, its tolerance during the Evolution was indeed somewhat lacking.
Fortunately, Su Ping still had everything firmly under control. Under the ravaging effects of these resources, Big Eye couldn’t even hold on for ten minutes. At just the five or six-minute mark, its massive eyeball body had already begun to dissipate.
