Beast Taming: the More the Better

Chapter 1380: Chapter 566: Earth Core Fire! News of the Fire Element Super-Rank!

Previously, almost every one of the Flame Venerable’s Avatars possessed a special attraction and control over avian Pet Beasts. This Ability and method almost entirely originated from the Flame Venerable’s Origin. Even the Divine Wind Sparrow, which had an Imperial Level Species race limit, could not escape the restrictions of this Ability.

However, Su Ping had finally encountered an avian Pet Beast that had not only broken free from the Flame Venerable’s control methods, but had also reversed the situation—it was now controlling these Flame Venerable’s Avatars!

Currently, Su Ping was actually quite curious. Why was this Prairie Fire Phoenix suppressing the Flame Venerable’s Avatars in reverse? What was its ultimate goal? Most likely, it shared his objective—it wanted to pry into the Flame Venerable’s secrets and inheritance. Could this be the very reason why the Prairie Fire Phoenix had not only advanced to the Holy Spirit Peak, but even broken through to master a portion of the Rules?

He didn’t know the exact answer, but he knew one thing for certain: based on this alone, the Prairie Fire Phoenix before him would probably never be swayed or recruited by him. Instead, it was highly likely to become his enemy!

"Another one!"

Amidst the Phoenix’s cry, one could hear an indescribable sense of joy from the Prairie Fire Phoenix. Obviously, it had only just noticed the Fire Element Little Flame hovering above Su Ping’s head. And the reason it cried "Another one!" was clearly because it had discovered Little Flame’s true identity!

As expected, the Prairie Fire Phoenix was intentionally collecting the Flame Venerable’s Avatars. Otherwise, it would be impossible for so many Flame Venerable’s Avatars to gather in such a place. More importantly, even if they did arrive, they should have naturally begun devouring one another! They shouldn’t be in the current situation, where several Emperor Level Flame Venerable’s Avatars were hanging on the Prairie Fire Phoenix’s body without showing any signs of hostility!

Su Ping had no time to overthink. Upon sensing Little Fire’s presence, the Prairie Fire Phoenix was suddenly filled with Spirit. Its divine, holy eyes didn’t even bother to look at the strange Jiao Ji, who posed a certain threat to it. Instead, its gaze was entirely locked onto Su Ping and the Little Flame above his head! It displayed a determined posture, fully intending to go all out and secure its prize.

However, if it was determined to win, wasn’t Su Ping as well? With so many Flame Venerable’s Avatars here, all of which were High Level entities, how could he not go all out? If he could capture all of them and help Little Flame successfully advance to the Emperor Level, he could smoothly proceed to the next stage of the Nanming Li Fire. Naturally, the Fire Seed’s promotion to the Mastery Level would also go much more smoothly.

At that point, if he put more effort into Little Flame’s Breeding and developed some High Level combat Super-Rank Skills, he might be able to complete the entire Second Stage Breeding of the Nanming Li Fire while it was at the Emperor Level. Once that happened, all of his problems would be easily resolved.

With this thought in mind, Su Ping said directly, "Senior, please lend me a hand!"

"Rest assured!"

Clearly, Jiao Ji had been waiting for those exact words.

At that moment, the boundless raging Fire seemed to be suppressed by the vast ocean. In the current terrain—a Volcano Island beneath the sea—the confrontation between water and Fire seemed to have completely broken free from geographical constraints, materializing as a clash between the two Pet Beasts!

However, just as a single submarine volcano could never evaporate all the oceans on Blue Star or the entire Endless Sea Domain, the battle between a Holy Spirit Level Peak and a Legendary Level seemed a bit too unpretentious in Su Ping’s eyes at this moment.

The Power of the Domain seemed to sweep up the might of heaven and earth. Within the Endless Sea Domain, a terrifying whirlpool began to expand from the deepest part of the ocean floor all the way to the surface. The Power and destruction caused by strength of this Level were truly unimaginable.

Even with the enhancement of the Flame Venerable’s Avatars, the gap between a true Legendary Level and a Holy Spirit Peak was still blatantly obvious. Never mind the blessing of the Flame Venerable’s Avatars; even during the true ancient battle between water and Fire, the confrontation between the Water Venerable and the Flame Venerable, it was hard to say who would emerge victorious. Not to mention a mere later-generation existence that had stolen the Flame Venerable’s Power.

Therefore, almost the exact instant that the terrifying, eruptive Volcano-like Flame World formed, the massive ocean whirlpools of the entire Endless Sea Domain collapsed like a falling world. Bypassing the natural barriers of heaven and earth, they crashed heavily into the massive volcano.

SIZZLE!

Amidst the white smoke rising along the water currents on the seabed, the Prairie Fire Phoenix let out a frantic wail of Madness!

"SCREECH!"

The miserable shriek wasn’t as clear and melodious as its previous cry. This left Su Ping slightly disappointed. Whatever happened to the legendary "shattering of Kunshan jade in a phoenix’s cry"? Was this really how it sounded? Fortunately, he knew this wasn’t the time for snarky remarks.

"Little Fire!"

Little Flame suddenly extended a Fire Sprout. This Fire Sprout possessed no offensive Power; it only served one purpose. That was to act as a megaphone to call out to the Flame Venerable’s Avatars!

As expected, after suffering that attack, the Flame Venerable’s Avatars seemed to become much less stable. Most importantly, under Jiao Ji’s control, the water droplets had not affected the Flame Venerable’s Avatars at all.
