Su Ping stayed on Crescent Island for a full two days.

However, aside from the first day when he arrived and took his Pet Beast for a trial run, there was no further opportunity for him to take action.

Besides understanding the current flood situation together with Qin Erlong, his time was mostly spent meeting various people, primarily those from within the Legion and individuals of a status comparable to Zhao Deguang.

Indeed, it was often not easy to decline such meetings.

Fortunately, those who had reached such strength and position generally knew their boundaries and thus did not make any special requests of Su Ping.

He had arrived right after the battle with Qian Yi concluded. It was unclear whether Xiao Qing’s evolution had spurred this change or if Su Ping’s earlier breakthrough in his Spiritual Realm had consequently affected Qian Yi’s Soul Contract. Regardless, Qian Yi had finally achieved a promotion.

Although Xiao Qing’s evolution had led to a substantial increase in her realm, it seemed for the moment that it would not be too difficult a task for Qian Yi to catch up. This little guy had an astoundingly fast rate of realm improvement prior to this.

On the first night, Qin Erlong received word from above: the water disaster in the Eastern Sea was receding. The state of martial law could therefore be somewhat relaxed, and the previously highest-level alert could be judiciously downgraded.

This not only brought relief to Qin Erlong and the others but also to Su Ping.

So, after attending several gatherings on Crescent Island and occasionally continuing to kill some ferocious beasts still lured by the sea platforms and not yet departed, Su Ping left Crescent Island.

Of course, apart from these, the main reason was that Guan Qianshan had called him; the materials he had ordered had been gathered.

These materials were not for evolving ordinary Pet Beasts. For Su Ping, the Paperman’s cultivation and evolution were extremely important due to their connection with the Heavenly Tomb. However, this was not something that could be accomplished overnight. Moreover, the Paperman’s evolution was already proceeding methodically. The cultivation of its Five Elements Paper Body was the current focus, and for this, the Five Elements Formation left by Xue Hongluan was the true key; other elements were secondary for now.

Now, the news that had arrived pertained to the materials handed to him by Biyao Chunshen during Xiao Qing’s evolution a few days prior.

These included several stalks of Dragon-Patterned Bamboo and some resources for cultivating Mist Pine, Thorn Wolf, and Cloud-Patterned Tree Python.

The materials requested by Biyao Chunshen, as well as the environment needed for arranging them, were indeed of utmost importance.

Upon receiving the news, Su Ping wasted no time and took Old Qin’s aircraft directly back to the Heart of Myriad Spirits.

"Xiao Ping, here’s the Dragon-Patterned Bamboo, a full twelve stalks. However, Commander Level Dragon-Patterned Bamboo that has reached maturity is truly hard to find. So, among these, ten are Ordinary Level juvenile plants yet to grow, and only two are Elite Level growth stage!"

As soon as Su Ping returned, Guan Qianshan immediately led him to the resource and material storage room within the Heart of Woods. There, Su Ping saw the twelve stalks of Dragon-Patterned Bamboo. They had seemingly just been brought in, their consciousness not yet fully clear.

Su Ping nodded; twelve stalks were indeed the minimum number requested by Biyao Chunshen through the image he had conveyed.

"Over here, we have thirty Wood Spirit Grass stalks that are twenty years old, pure Wood Element resources."

Su Ping continued to nod.

"As for the Corpse-Eating Ground Dragon, it requires a special living environment. Would you like to open this vessel of soil and inspect it yourself?" Guan Qianshan came over with an odd vessel, about the size of a briefcase.

Su Ping waved his hand. "No need. If you’ve already checked it, then I trust it."

"All the other resources have been acquired, but only the Cloud Water Blue Lotus..." Lao Guan looked troubled.

Clearly, acquiring a Monarch Level beast cub, especially of a plant type which Beast Tamers could easily contract, was indeed a difficult task.

Even with the current financial power of the Heart of Myriad Spirits, it was not something easily accomplished.

However, Su Ping was not concerned about this issue and said with a light smile, "Didn’t I already mention this over the phone? Uncle Guan, don’t worry, I’ve already secured the Cloud Water Blue Lotus."

If he hadn’t secured the Cloud Water Blue Lotus, Su Ping wouldn’t have hurried back from Crescent Island after obtaining the other materials.

His days with Qin Erlong weren’t just spent idly chatting.

In the entire Dragon Nation, who could be more adept at handling Plant System Pet Beasts than President Qin and the Sang Sheng behind him?

As expected, once Su Ping spoke up, President Qin directly fetched this item from the cache of the Beast Master Association.

Of course, Su Ping did not take it for nothing.
