Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 3745 - Too Weak

Chapter 3745 - Too Weak

The Cosmic God Palace was a place for cultivation, not a life-and-death battleground! As long as she regained her dignity, Xing Yue definitely wouldn’t want to fight to the death.

"You said it yourself, a life for a life. One of you died, yet you killed two of us? Do you think the lives of Starmoon Haven are more valuable?" Xing Baizhan let out a sinister laugh and suddenly charged at Xing Yue, roaring, "I’ve had enough of you acting all high and mighty! Since it’s a life for a life, hand over your wretched life, too! Then we’ll call it even!"

Xing Yue didn’t even try to deny that she had killed someone, so what was there to argue about? Should they go back and question why Xing Tiancheng and Xing Baiwei killed Luori Yumo? It was obviously related to Xing Baifeng!

As for the earlier events, Jiang Xuling and Mo Dong were already dead, so there was no one left to hunt down.

Bai Ye had certainly made sure there was no evidence left, after all.

Currently, the various factions would devolve into violence the moment they met. There was no need for Bai Ye to fan the flames anymore. The hatred was already so deep that even if they sat down to talk, they wouldn’t be able to sort it out.

Moreover, the Wargod Cult already had long-standing conflicts with Xing Yue and Luori Guiyang, as the Starmoon Haven's geniuses had come there to forcibly snatch their Middlekin Star Ruin’s resources. And who would be okay with that? Xing Baizhan had long wanted to deal with them!

After Xing Baizhan’s transformation, his form was even more terrifying than other devas. His eyes were filled with pale, wriggling parasites, and his three heads of Joy, Anger, and Sorrow had rows of teeth as sharp and numerous as a shark’s. His entire body was covered in bone spikes and dark gray scales, and his six arms had claws as sharp as swords. His tongues, covered in barbs, menacingly slithered out of his mouths!

The most terrifying thing was that after transforming, each of his six arms wielded a warblade—all high-maniverse-class artifacts.

Gripping those massive forty-meter-long blades, he let his tongue hang loose while the white parasites in his eyes squirmed into his blood vessels, opening gray eyes all over his skin, enhancing his vision to a terrifying degree.

"Women of Starmoon Haven really are proud, but oh so delicate!" Xing Baizhan let out a shrill cry, stirring up a storm of gray mist as he clashed with Xing Yue.

"Filthy creature!" Xing Yue’s face was like ice as she summoned her totems. Her nine totems, the purplebright starchains, were rather unique. Nine luminous purple chains, resembling celestial dragons, coiled around her, bathing her in a radiant light that made her appear even more divine.

18-fold Simulacrum, Big Dipper Sea! It was already an extremely high level simulacrum. She was considered outstanding even among the geniuses of Starmoon Haven.

"Pretty flashy! But can you withstand my Hundred-Battles Emperor’s onslaught?" Xing Baizhan wildly laughed as he launched a brutal assault. He was known as a battle maniac. He had fought countless opponents since childhood. According to legend, not a day went by where he didn’t get into a fight!

His current specter form was a perfect war machine, and his combat ability exceeded what his cultivation level alone would suggest.

Chaos erupted across the battlefield as over seventy warriors from the Wargod and Blazestar Cults clashed and blood flew everywhere.

In the center, two fourth-level overflowers fiercely battled. The battlefield was a collision of Xing Baizhan’s deathly gray mist and his hellish order that was like the sea of bitterness, and Xing Yue’s order, which was like a starry sea. It was a clash between a demon and a saintess.

Their battle was vicious, with extremely high-level combat techniques on display. Xing Baizhan’s warblades spun like a windmill, slashing toward Xing Yue again and again, each strike fiercer than the last. Meanwhile, the countless eyes on his skin continuously unleashed divine abilities.

"Scram!" Xing Yue held her sword in one hand while her purplebright starchains protected her. She kept her distance from Xing Baizhan, her sword—boosted by her totems’ power—manifesting a sea of swords to counterattack.

At first they were evenly matched, but Xing Yue’s expression darkened as they continued.

His fighting style’s too brutal. He doesn’t even care about his own life! She saw the look in his eyes, filled with aggression, filth, malice, and wickedness. His tongues, covered in barbs, lashed toward her, constantly disturbing her movements.

"Is this all the so-called geniuses of the Starmoon Haven amounts to? You’re going to lose! You’re too weak for battle. Just go home and make babies!" Xing Baizhan sneered, ridiculing her.

Xing Yue’s eyebrows sharply arched. She struggled to remain composed, but the specter’s lecherous eyes made her heart race with anxiety.

Where’s Luori Guiyang? Why isn’t he here yet? She had never expected to be on the verge of defeat so soon. She knew the devas were strong, but she thought that, as a Starmoon Haven genius, she wouldn’t fall so fast.

"Hahaha... weak! Too weak!" Xing Baizhan seized the opportunity and launched another ferocious assault. Finally, he breached Xing Yue’s defences, severing one of her arms! There was a spray of multicolored blood as Xing Yue screamed in agony.

Xing Baizhan maniacally laughed as his gray mist engulfed her. He tossed away his warblades and switched to his massive fists!

"You—!" Xing Yue gasped in horror.

"Stay down!" Xing Baizhan pinned her to the ground and rained down punch after punch!

Xing Yue was struck dozens of times. Her organs ruptured and her astral blood spilled everywhere. She coughed up blood and stared at Xing Baizhan in terror, pleading, "Xing Baizhan! My grandfather’s a cosmic god! I lost! I’ll apologize! Please stop!"

"A cosmic god’s descendant? Then why’re you here mooching off our battlefield? And even if you are, you must be his weakest one!" Xing Baizhan’s six eyes glowed red as he grinned wildly. Two hands pinned down her body while another two pressed her head into the ground, cracking her skull.

"Don’t kill me!" she cried out in fear, her face pale and desperate.

"Who said anything about killing you?" Xing Baizhan suddenly let out a sinister chuckle, then he pressed her down harder!

The gray mist thickened, completely shrouding them from view.

"Sister Xing Yue!" Seeing Xing Yue’s total defeat, the Blazestar Cult panicked. Their morale suffered and the Wargod Cult pressed the advantage, immediately causing heavy casualties.

Within the gray mist, the battle continued. Xing Yue suddenly let out a heart-wrenching scream!

Her eyes stared at Xing Baizhan. D-did he... go in?

A moment later, Xing Baizhan let out a long, satisfied sigh. "I’m out."
