Chapter 3909 - Brother Chu Xuan and Zhoutian Hen

Chapter 3909 - Brother Chu Xuan and Zhoutian Hen

After the Baili brothers left Yuan Long’s team, they quickened their pace and continued heading deeper into the heart-shaped ruin. Once they were far enough away, they took out their transmission stone.

“Who should we contact? Still Brother Chu Xuan?” Baili Feiyu nervously asked.

“Of course we should contact Brother Chu Xuan! Among the five alliance leaders, he has the best ties with Saturatia. Only he can help us establish a connection!” said Baili Liuyan.

“Good thing Sister Yuan Long trusts us! That’s the only reason she let us act on our own,” Baili Feiyu sneered.

“She doesn’t trust us, she just takes us for idiots,” Baili Liuyan scoffed and looked into the depths of the ruin. “Even if we find some treasure in the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins, would it ever belong to us? Once it’s discovered, we’ll be blamed for dreaming above our station and likely end up dead! It’s far more profitable to use our information to curry favor with Saturatia. First, we can gain exposure in front of their young talents and get a chance to work under them. Second, our father might also gain connections there and advance his career!”

That was their true intention. The two of them searched through a pile of transmission stones and found the one they wanted. Baili Liuyan activated it, then waited.

After a while, there was finally a response. A young cosmic god’s image appeared in the golden mist of the stone. He impatiently glared at them and said, “I’m busy! What the hell do you want? Bother me again and I’ll beat the crap out of you when we get back.”

“Brother Chu Xuan, calm down! You’ll be thanking us in a moment,” Baili Liuyan said with a grin.

“That’s right! We made a major discovery, and we contacted you first!” Baili Feiyu added.

“A major discovery? I should thank you?” The young cosmic god finally showed some interest. He turned serious. “Spit it out. If it’s useful, you’ll be rewarded.”

“Well... Brother Chu Xuan, are you currently with people from Saturatia?” Baili Liuyan quietly asked.

“So what if I am?” The young cosmic god sounded impatient.

“Please don’t misunderstand, Brother Chu Xuan. What we mean is, this discovery we’ve made... might require someone from Saturatia to handle,” Baili Liuyan said.

The young god’s expression slightly shifted, then he said, “Alright, go ahead. If it’s something I can’t manage, I’ll pass the info to them.”

“Great!” Baili Liuyan shared everything they had found about the ruin. After he finished, he patted his chest and promised, “Bring the people from Saturatia. We’ll keep the transmission stone on and wait for you!”

After hearing everything, the young cosmic god grew more serious. He nodded and said, “Alright. This will count as a major contribution on your part.”

“Brother Chu Xuan, please hurry. We entered with Sister Yuan Long, and they’re already exploring!” Baili Feiyu reminded him.

“Yuan Long?” the young god sneered. “She’s nothing. Once we arrive, she’ll have to cough up whatever she found. You two, return to the entrance. Report it if anyone else shows up.”

“Yes, sir!” The Baili brothers excitedly nodded.

“Brother Chu Xuan, may I ask, which of the Saturatia prodigies are you currently following?” Baili Liuyan meekly asked.

“You’re in for a surprise!” the young cosmic god smirked. “It’s Zhoutian Hen!”

“Zhoutian Hen?!” The Baili brothers were momentarily stunned, then a grin split their faces.

“In that case, our family now has a chance to latch on to a wonderian noble house and rise up!”

For cosmic god offspring from orbiter worlds, it didn’t matter what alliance they belonged to; what mattered was building ties with the second generation of Saturatia-49. Only then could their future truly be considered secured. Otherwise, even if one became a cosmic god, going to Saturatia-49 would still mean being a mere errand boy.

After that, Chu Xuan went to discuss the details with the Saturatia geniuses while the Baili brothers took a detour and headed toward the main artery entrance. They were in a pretty good mood!

Just as they were excitedly chatting, a cold glint of sword light abruptly shot out from a dark corner and struck the transmission stone in Baili Liuyan’s hand, shattering it. As a result, Chu Xuan and the Saturatia people lost the ruin’s coordinates and wouldn’t be able to arrive any time soon.

“Who?!” The two brothers’ eyes blazed with fury as they looked into the darkness.

“They destroyed the transmission stone! Clearly, they don’t want us bringing others here!”

They exchanged a look and immediately came to a decision. If it was someone from the Eightpart Pantheons, they would back off. If not, they would use the name Zhoutian Hen for awe and intimidation.

A figure, dressed in a black-and-gold robe, emerged from the darkness. Naturally, it was Tianming. Everything the two brothers had said and done since entering hadn’t escaped Yin Chen, especially the murder of a little beastball.

That alone had enraged Tianming enough to come for them. When he heard they were trying to lure others in to share the pie, he grew even more triggered.

“You?!” The Baili brothers were stunned when they saw Tianming. They’d been the ones to oppose it back when Qin Feng had wanted to bring Tianming into Yuan Long’s group, thinking that Tianming and his companions, who weren’t even ninth-level overflowers, were suicidal idiots.

Running into him here could be chalked up to chance. But for him to ambush them and destroy their transmission stone was simply unfathomable!

“You have someone backing you?” Baili Feiyu warily asked. He started scanning the surroundings, but no one else was there. It baffled the brothers even more—what the hell was going on?

“You're alone? And you dare ambush us? Do you have shit for brains?” Baili Feiyu shouted in disbelief.

Tianming simply beamed at them. After his recent cultivation using the flameyellow caeli and overflow fragments, he had become a fourth-level overflower and grown to eighty meters tall! He wasn’t that much shorter than the two tenth-level overflower orbiter world geniuses.

The brothers had noticed Tianming’s sudden improvement, but still assumed his realm was beneath theirs.

Which was absolutely the truth.

But when Tianming attacked them, they were completely floored.
