Chapter 3956 - Two Paths, Pick One!

You You was quite the petite and talented girl, yet Tianming had managed to completely dominate her in almost no time at all. Xian Xian's middlekin-astron roots wrapped around her six times in and out, leaving only her eyes exposed. The roots had transformed to contain suckers all over, which could sap away at cosmoforce, causing You You to instantly weaken!

"How dare you?!" She had thought that Tianming was just going to make a show out of it and didn't think that he would actually be able to subdue her. She wasn't even sure if she could break out of the roots at this point.

"Don't move!" he said to her and Eighth within his lifebound space. The princess's ghoul was incredibly enticing to the gray egg, which was shaking nonstop within the lifebound space and almost manifested as an eye on Tianming's chest. Fortunately, they had had enough time to get to know each other, and Eighth appeared to be quite obedient when Tianming wanted him to be. The gray coffin remained completely shut as if it had been asked to hold that position.

To the devas, Tianming had defeated their princess far too quickly. Many of them still hadn't reacted.

"Princess You You!" Zhan Xiao and the other devas glared daggers at Tianming. First, they had been bullied by their supposed allies, only to encounter the traitor and those from the Primordial Sands. They truly bemoaned their luck. Seeing their princess captured so quickly made them regret underestimating Tianming's strength even more.

"Stop!" Zhan Xiao had just been sent smashing into the ground by Jiang Lincheng. He rapidly got back up and ordered all the devas to cease combat.

"Brother Xiao, what do we do?" The devas' rage had reached its peak. There was still so much to vent!

"Jiang Lincheng!" Zhan Xiao recognized the leader of the kunlan primalwingers. He looked to Tianming but continued to address the primalwinger. "Princess You You is the beloved daughter of the Ninefold Wargod. You should know the consequences if anything bad happens to her. All of us have tracing rings, so every word and action of yours is being observed by the Eightpart Pantheons! We have no grudge with you, and there's no treasures around to be fought over. Let us both take a step back. Surely, there's no need to continue a pointless fight, right?"

The fact that Zhan Xiao said all that meant that he was about to cave. He had no choice, since the person he respected the most had fallen into Tianming's hands. Losing her spelled grave consequences for the Ninefold Hellstar.

"Who said that this fight is pointless? Let's hear what Brother Lin Feng has to say!" Jiang Lincheng said.

Tianming was still shrouded in purple mist. He kept the girl tightly bound and went straight to the point. "So far, the Skyfiendling and Yushen An still haven't managed to claim the ninelives fruits. The devas furrowed their brows at the proposition before looking to Zhan Xiao to wait for their decision. Everything about this felt a little funny to them. I didn't think that you devas would be so spineless to the point that you'd just let people walk all over you."

Those words touched a soft spot and infuriated them even more. They were much more furious at the ashuras and the Sin Pantheon than they were at Tianming. The thought that their seniors bore witness to their humiliation made them even more vexed! It was one thing to be overwhelmed by the Primordial Sands, but they had been mistreated by those on their side too! The only side that had to suffer was the devas'! How could the geniuses of one of the Three Divine Races be treated like that? How would they ever stand proudly as equals in the Eightpart Pantheons in the future?

Tianming smirked, seeing that his words had had their intended effect. "Not to mention, this isn't a negotiation. It's a coercion! You only have two paths. First, follow me and fight them! Second, stick to your laughable principles of unity and watch as I send your precious Princess You You to hell! The real one!"

He tightened the roots as You You cried out in pain. Her acting was solid, and her enchanting looks made it even more convincing. Putting the devas aside, even Tianming couldn't really bear to hear her squeal, but he steeled himself and tightened the roots even more.

"Zhan Xiao!" Jiang Lincheng smiled. "You are a good man, but that makes you sheep. You let others bully and humiliate you, hurt your fellow brothers and sisters, and even the threat of Princess You You's death isn't enough to make you abandon the false unity of the Eightpart Pantheons. Your loyalty is moving indeed! Let's hope the ashuras, Sin Pantheon, and their descendants sing songs of your praise and make offerings in your name."

Being mocked by someone as straight laced as Jiang Lincheng felt even worse. Tianming didn't give them the time to think either.

"Well, it's up to you if you want to follow me or not!" Tianming took the princess back toward the previous battleground immediately. His voice continued to echo throughout the cavern. "Remember! If she dies, it'll be your fault for being such sheep! You devas don't even have the balls to fight back against your bullies! Is it because the ashuras castrated all of you? You're even lower than the pathetic Sin Pantheon dogs! So much for a so-called divine race! Compared to the ashuras and wonderians, you specters seem tougher alright, yet I didn't think that that's all a facade! When people piss, you open your mouths to take it all in, gulp after gulp, and praise them for how tasty it is!"

All that coupled with You You's sobbing served as incredibly potent fuel for their rage. They hated the ashuras and Sin Pantheon. Naturally, they also resented Tianming, but he had their weakness! What other excuse did they need to vent on the only targets they're capable of venting at? It wasn't like they could touch Tianming!

"Brother Xiao!" A group of devas turned to Zhan Xiao.

"We have no choice! Even if the seniors have witnessed all this, they'll know that we cannot be blamed for this. The Sin Pantheon and ashuras have gone too far and broken the unity. Not to mention, we have no choice but to keep Princess You You alive!" Zhan Xiao said.

"So?"

"Charge!" Thinking about the ugly mugs of Yushen An and the Skyfiendling, they all grit their teeth and zipped backward through the pathway toward the hidden location once more.
