Chapter 3959 - Ancestor of Ashuras

Tianming could tell at a glance that the Skyfiendling was trying to use ocular arts. He had heard that ashuras, when fighting on their own and not their warbeasts, were most adept at using ocular arts, which the rest in the Eightpart Pantheons had no good counter for. Ashuras and wonderians were incredibly strong in terms of the soul when it came to human races. Wonderians were good at soul defense thanks to their divine wonders, whereas ashuras focused entirely on soul offense. Their fiendsky eyes were windows to soul power, which allowed them to use it offensively while their warbeasts ravaged their opponents.

The Skyfiendling was rather capable in that regard. When cosmoforce surged into the two fiendsky eyes on his palms, he used different ocular arts with each eye. The fiendsky eye on the left turned into a black hole that sucked away at Tianming's vita. The eye on the right shot out a black beam of death toward him. Both Soulscatter Violet Vortex and Skyfiend Death Beam were incredibly high-leveled ocular arts that could be combined to destroy the soul and scatter it!

"The Skyfiendling's mad! That little thief is going to die for sure!" Yushen Hua calmed down and watched the whole thing in anticipation. Many ashura seniors in Skyfiend Hall also started to talk in a far more jovial mood, thinking that it was foolish of Tianming to try to apprehend the Skyfiendling alone. At the same time, Tianming also smiled.

"Are you trying to go up against me in the domain I'm best at?" Tianming had realized that using soul power to fuel his Sky Plundering Eye would make it even more powerful. At that moment, the power of the centuroptic beast entered the monochrome eye of yin and yang. "What...." The instant the death beam was vaporized, the Skyfiendling's four eyes widened with awe. He had never seen something like this in his life! His forte had been completely neutralized! "How can anyone other than an ashura use ocular arts?!"

With that unanswerable question still in his mind, the Skyfiendling's astral brain was invaded by Tianming's Vitasteal. Then, Tianming gave it a powerful tug!

"Aaaaaagh!" The ashura grasped his head with both hands and tore at his face. Spiritform middlekin astrons within his brain exploded nonstop. It felt like his astral brain was being physically pulled out as a jet of spiritform middlekin astrons shot out of his nostrils! Then, both his palms also exploded.

"My fiendsky eyes!" Those were the lifeblood of the ashuras. Their greatest strength was their astral brains and fiendsky eyes. In fact, the fiendsky eyes were extensions of their astral brain! Both of them exploded at the same time, causing the Skyfiendling's mind to blank out completely.

"Sorry to say, but I think I might be your ancestor! I know everything about you!" It was at that moment that the six beasts charged toward Tianming's back, unleashing a torrent of black flames and explosions. However, abilities automatically shot forth from both of Tianming's arms toward his back. The symphony of flames and lightning neutralized the attacks of the beasts. "I'm digging in!" Xian Xian was finally able to get a taste of these astral beasts. The Skyfiendling and Yushen Hua were completely floored by the sight of their pride and joy being completely crushed by Tianming.

"Too bad, but it looks like I'm the perfect counter to your soul attacks and your warbeasts! Remember me, Lin Feng. I am the nightmare of you ashuras." Tianming smiled before charging toward the Skyfiendling once more.

How could an orbiter world spawn such a terrifying entity? The Skyfiendling didn't even have a chance to ponder that question before Tianming struck with the Grand-Orient Sword and his 30-fold-simulacrum totems. Though the sword wasn't the most powerful artifact around, Bai Ling's infant souls did make up for it! At the same time, Bai Ye's Phantasmic Bubbles had already begun wearing down on the Skyfiendling's astral brain even more.

"Stop! He's the scion of the Cobalt Overfiend and the pillar of the Ten Desolate Starforges' future! If he dies, everyone that has the slightest tie with you will be wiped out!" Yushen Hua cried.

"Lin Feng, let's talk it out!" The Skyfiendling felt the fatal power of those soul attacks, which had completely broken his spirit. The genius that was ranked eighteenth across the ten maniverse-class worlds had fallen to the point of only caring about surviving. Yet, all he got back was Tianming's indifferent stare.

The wave of Phantasmic Bubbles caused him to cough out blood and briefly black out. Then, he backed against the cavern walls, shivering wildly! Tianming's sword strike pierced fiercely through his head, nailing him against the wall with a loud boom.

"Ugh...." The spiritform middlekin astrons in the Skyfiendling's astral brain were wiped out completely along with his vita, resulting in instant death! His arms suddenly flopped lifelessly against the wall.

"What did you think would happen if you only had six of your sixty-six warbeasts here with you?" The Eightpart Pantheons were powerful when they were united, yet Tianming seemed to be able to exploit the weaknesses unique to each faction. Once he got hold of them, Tianming could crush them despite the level difference, divine race or not!

"Skyfiendling...." Yushen Hua slumped to the ground as tears flowed from her eyes. The seniors who were watching were stunned into silence. This was the highest-ranked genius to die to date, and at the hands of an orbiter no less!
