Chapter 3984 - Two Women Compete

Chapter 3984 - Two Women Compete

From the dangerous glints in the eyes of the wonderians and orderlies, it was clear that Sixth's vita had definitely given them a mission before leaving.

“We need to seal off the teleportation formation that links the Order College and the wonderians.” Moran understood that she would soon have to use her wonders. If the wonderians carried news of Tian Jiu back, things would become very troublesome.

“Got it. Head for the Order College.” Zi Zhen was swift and decisive. She immediately turned and sped in the direction of the Order College.

Since they couldn’t follow Tianming into the vortex, the only thing they could do was block all the teleportation formations out of God Domain Nine. They would handle everything else once he returned!

There were two formations, one leading to the wonderians, while the other led to God Domain Eight. They had already seen the locations of both formations when they arrived.

Violet and ink-green streaks of light raced off.

“Catch them!” Roars rang out behind them as billions of orderlies condensed into a soulstorm that surged toward the two women. Although it was soul energy, it was strong enough to topple any unlucky towering structures in their path.

“After them!” Over a thousand wonderian cosmic gods followed, adding around three thousand humanoid stars to the chase.

The scene immediately became chaotic beyond imagination. Fortunately, most of the cosmic gods weren’t particularly high level.

“Fight them in the formation! It'll interfere with their coordination and reduce the number of enemies we have to face at a time,” Zi Zhen said.

“Got it.” Moran looked in the direction Tianming had disappeared, anxiety in her eyes.

“He’s fine, don’t worry.” At that moment, one of Bai Ling’s infant souls appeared beside her. It was something Tianming had left behind.

Both Moran and Zi Zhen completely relaxed.

“Then....” They looked at each other and a competitive spark lit up in their eyes.

“Wanna compete?” Zi Zhen raised her brow.

“Who's afraid of who?” Moran boldly replied.

“Hmph! I hope you aren’t just a pretty face,” Zi Zhen sneered and landed heavily on an eye of heaven.

Immediately, wonderians and orderly cosmic gods charged in one after another. It was now a battlefield for cosmic gods. The regular overflowers didn’t dare enter; instead, they surrounded the perimeter of the Order College, sealing it tight.

“Trying to escape?”

Upon seeing the two women split up and head for two different formations, the wonderians and orderlies divided their forces with surprising coordination and chased them down.

“Who’s that wonderian with impure blood?”

“No idea.”

“To cultivate to fourth-level cosmic god with such a chaotic bloodline, she must have some secret.”

Over a thousand wonderians bore down on Moran.

On the other side, Zi Zhen was pursued by the orderlies. Their soul bodies were interesting: gourd-shaped with a massive single eye used for attacks. Their entire bodies were composed of spiritform middlekin astrons, resembling a humanoid brain.

“Zi Zhen!” Moran had already stepped into the other glowing white formation. As she entered, she looked back and said, “It’s so lucky to stand by his side—too bad you can’t.”

“Screw off!” Zi Zhen roared, her eyes bursting into purple flames of rage. Her body abruptly underwent the skyghoul transformation into a massive 500-meter-tall violet demon exuding monstrous ferocity, complete with scales, spikes, long hair, and a face full of very sharp teeth.

In a blink, she opened her third hall eye. Though she was only a third-level cosmic god, once she became enraged, her sheer bloodlust startled many of the orderlies.

“Attack the formation. Don’t let her escape!” A massive 500-meter-tall cosmic god emerged from among the orderlies. He was also gourd-shaped, but unlike the rest, he had enormous, eerie eyes on both the top and bottom halves of his body.

“Yes, Principal!” It was clear from the admiring looks of the other orderlies that he was the king of their race, the principal of the Order College!

Countless soul-type divine abilities blasted the formation, causing it to flicker as it temporarily deactivated. However, what they didn’t know was that Zi Zhen had never intended to leave in the first place.

“Since you're here in the God Domain Nine, you might as well stay!” No matter what, the lower eight God Domains had effectively been captured.

“Seize her!” All three thousand orderly cosmic gods followed the principal’s command and surrounded the formation, sealing it airtight.

“What kind of ugly monster is that?”

“No idea. Some mongrel blood ghost maybe?”

“She’s hideous!”

The jeers immediately struck Zi Zhen’s sore spot. What the orderly fools didn’t realize was that they were mocking a berserker that grew stronger the angrier she became. Hall eye after hall eye opened. By the time Zi Zhen opened her sixth, a heavy crimson aura burst from her, turning her into a scarlet demon.

“Soul attacks!” the principal coldly commanded.

“Yes!” The orderlies clearly wanted to keep their distance. Their soul power condensed into a sky-shaking storm that assaulted Zi Zhen with white waves of energy.

“Quantity’s a form of quality! Not even the wonderians could withstand our combined soul assault!” The principal was confident. “The Progenitor drew away that white-haired man and entrusted us with the task of capturing these women. It said that taking them down is the same as eliminating his greatest threat. We must not fail!”

He watched with hope in his eyes as the first wave of probing attacks all seemed to strike Zi Zhen. No one could block soul attacks and the entire formation was soon cloaked in white mist, with no movement inside at all.
