Chapter 4003 - Exposed

Chapter 4003 - Exposed

The Cobalt Overfiend officially announced that the Heavenly Dao Arena was fully deployed, which caused everyone in Cobaltium to cheer. Countless cosmic gods in the streets spread the good news to everyone they knew. Soon, word spread across all Ten Desolate Starforges, hyping their populations up.

Before that, only a minority of people could see what was going on in the lower ruins through tracing rings. Most of the cosmic gods in those maniverse-class worlds had no idea how their geniuses were performing in the lower ruins, let alone folks in fortuna-class worlds. The only news they got was the deaths of the Skyfiendling, Shiming Shengshi, Shiming Xingyue, Yu Qing, You You, and other super geniuses, making them incredibly anxious.

But now, thanks to the power of the Heavenly Dao, every nova-source world and their orbiters would be able to see what was going on, with projections covering the skies. They would be able to see so much more than the cosmic gods in the lower ruins themselves would.

Such was the might of the Heavenly Dao.

"They must never have heard of the Heavenly Dao before for them to even dare to oppose us."

"Everything under the Heavenly Dao is the territory of the Eightpart Pantheons!"

The full deployment of the Heavenly Dao in the lower ruins was akin to asserting their rule over it. The formations that the juniors had set up all across the lower ruins before then were the foundation that had been necessary for the Heavenly Dao to spread, and it’d now come to fruition.

The skies of the Ten Desolate Starforges, their hundreds of orbiters, and nearly a thousand other fortuna-class worlds brightly shone with countless images. Those that couldn't see anyone they were looking for could easily use their ships to fly to a different part of the sky. When they found the person they were looking for, they could simply fly around with their ships to track that person as they went from one projection to the next.

It wasn't hard to locate the people native to each world; the parts of the sky with most ships would simply be it. There were no longer any blind spots within Miracle Mountain. It could all be viewed from Skyfiend Hall—and all other worlds—in much higher definition than the broadcasts of tracing rings. Flying close to the projections in the sky even made one feel like they were personally there.

"I see them!"

"Wow, that peak really turned into the tip of a sword. It must be a huge sword!"

"Daddy, where's Big Brother? Oh, who’s he kissing?"

"Isn't that Sister-in-law? Why’s she with someone else? It's no wonder she turned off her tracing ring!"

Every single world erupted with conversations and gossip as countless people looked to the skies.

"Watch!" cried many people from many different worlds.

"Aren't those the three masked figures? When did they enter Miracle Mountain?"

"They're heading to the peak!"

"Why hasn't anyone gone to wipe them out yet?" The fact that those outside knew where Tianming was before those in the lower ruins knew made it feel like they were watching a drama unfolding.

"I heard those masked figures are flameyellow remnants."

"What's a flameyellow, Daddy?"

Gradually, the banned word began spreading. Many people from the Eightpart Pantheons, including those in orbiter worlds, heard the term for the first time. Most people wouldn't even relate them with the slave race in fortuna-class worlds. And at the same time, countless flameyellow descendants looked up at the vast skies.

In a particular fortuna-class world near the Ninefold Hellstar that was called Greenink Haven, an injured old man was on the way home, walking through the streets of a mound city.

"Grandpa!" A girl crawled out of the cellar and excitedly waved at him. "Look at the sky!"

"I saw it!" The old man picked her up and the two of them looked at the sky, tearing up at the same time.

"They're saying that that place is called the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins. Apparently some of our kind live there, but without heavenly shackles! Is that true? Did we used to be called the flameyellow divinities? Were we the rulers of the Upper Star Ruin?" she asked.

"Shhh! Little Yu, keep that in your heart. Don't ever say it to anyone else. Things have been chaotic lately. If anyone from the Eightpart Pantheons hears anything they don't like, we'll get in trouble!"

"Okay! Uncle also warned me to keep it to myself!" Even though she quietly whispered it, hope still sprouted within her childish gaze. Her eyes had always been dim, having lived the life of a slave since birth and she hadn’t thought that her kind actually had a glorious history that she could be proud of. But after seeing the truth, she began to feel hopeful, no matter how terrible her life had been so far.

Nervously, she asked, "Grandpa, did the ruler of this star that you work for tell you anything about them?"

"Who are you talking about?" the old man asked, just as nervous.

"I heard that three of our kind killed Princess You You and Prince Yu Qing, the children of the Ninefold Wargod! They're amazing!"

"Where’d you hear that?" The old man was shocked.

"They're talking about it all over the place! The devas hate those three masked figures, but since they're the same race as us, I'm secretly supporting them!"

"You already know everything?" the old man sighed with a troubled look on his face.

"Grandpa, it's them! I see that big brother and the two big sisters! They’re heroes of slave races like us!" Countless people across the thousand fortuna-class worlds had the same look in their eyes.

"Shhh." The old man took her back into the house. "First, we aren’t slaves. Our ancestors are the flameyellow divinities. We weren’t born to be slaves. Second, nobody should cheer for them!"

"Why?"

Stroking her head, he said, "Child, it isn’t yet time to cheer for them. Let’s wait until the day when we’re truly liberated."

"I've been exposed?" Tianming blankly looked at the tiny insects before him. Yin Chen had arranged its bodies into text to explain the situation to him.

"Isn't this a nightmare? We have to be even more careful from now on," Zi Zhen said, grimacing.

"At least the masks are still helpful." Tianming looked toward the exit. "I wonder if they've discovered the ark yet."

"Not yet... for now. Their surveillance... is blurry... near the... swamp area," Yin Chen said.

Tianming breathed a sigh of relief. "With the heavenly punishment protection seed, they'd be able to track down my sister using a different method. We have to end things here as fast as possible." He didn't think that the blessing would become a curse. "However, this nightmare is a blessing in disguise."

"Why’s that?" Moran asked.

"If everyone can see us, including the worlds outside, it'll help me gain omnisentient threads!"
