Chapter 4029 - Rage Roasting the Clam
Chapter 4029 - Rage Roasting the Clam
"You little!" Moran glared at him, blushing, before activating the Empyrean Yin-Yang Mirror. Along the way, the mirror's monochrome vortices had already absorbed a lot of cosmoforce and were ready to fire at any moment! "I'm worried I'll miss the clam."
"Leave it to me!" Tianming put her down before charging forward and kicking the clam.
"Damn, it's hard!" Even using the leg that was fused with Lan Huang, he felt like he was about to rot. Blood even burst out of his leg. Fortunately, he had enough strength to send the astralcloud clam that had been flat on the ground flipping into the air, making a larger target for the mirror's blast. "Little Fish!"
A monochrome pillar of light slammed into the astralcloud clam in the air. With a great boom, it was sent flying millions of meters away before it crashed into the ground!
"Did it break?" Tianming immediately covered thousands of kilometers and landed atop of the clam, only to see a crevice on its shell that glowed with starlight as it recovered. Not even Moran, a seventh-level cosmic god, could break the clam's defense using the power that had vaporized Jiu Zhigui in one blast.
"How tough! It truly is the ashuras' strongest means of survival..." Tianming chuckled.
"You can't kill me. Stop wasting your energy. You can use the godshaker-class cosmic relic at the Ninelives Cave to kill even more of our troops. Don't waste time on me," Dugu Meng said. She was smart and selfish, not caring about the deaths of her comrades at all. After her side had lost the mirror, she no longer cared if they won the battle. It wasn't like she bore any responsibility for losing the mirror anyway.
"Who said this was a waste of time?" Tianming turned and saw Moran arrive. The astralcloud clam tried to leave again, only for Tianming to thrust the Grand-Orient Sword into it. Nowadays, the sword was five hundred meters long. Though the clam was a thousand meters deep, the sword was long enough to wound it.
The clam let out a soul-curdling shriek that could be heard all the way from the Ninelives Cave.
"Do you think my Grand-Orient Sword isn't hard enough to pierce it?" Tianming smirked and pulled his sword back out before going for one thrust after another. While the astralcloud clam had soul attacks, they were useless against Tianming's soul defenses! His former weakness had become his biggest strength.
Bai Ling's soul attack traveled through the sword and wreaked havoc within the astralcloud clam's weak inner body and spiritform.
My Grand-Orient Sword got much harder after it swallowed half of Miracle Mountain. It's unmatched! There was no way Tianming could have done that otherwise.
With the clam's shell breached, it was practically useless and its cries began gradually fading away. Eventually, it went completely silent before its shell slammed open and a black figure suddenly flew out of it.
"Think you can run?" Tianming told Moran to go back and help the others before giving chase. Soon, his lightning brought him right behind Dugu Meng. "An ashura without a warbeast is completely useless!"
Tianming's cold laughter sounded nightmarish to Dugu Meng. She turned around all of a sudden. Tianming saw a dreamy girl with snow-white skin, enchanting eyes, and an alluring figure, the combination of which made for quite a stunning sight. No doubt, she was among the top beauties in the Ten Desolate Starforges. She had the pure, yet desire-filled aura of an ashura. Her gaze and demeanor constantly pushed people toward the edge of temptation.
"Lin Feng." Dugu Meng said his name with a tearful look. "I don't have any personal grudge against you. Can you spare me, please? I can get the other ashuras to retreat from the lower ruins."
"You do know that everyone in the Ten Desolate Starforges is watching you beg for mercy, right?" Tianming said.
"It doesn't matter."
"It matters to me." Tianming looked up and smirked. "Your seniors must’ve guessed, right? I don't just want to win this battle—I want to exterminate all of you!"
"You...!" Dugu Meng's brows furrowed heavily as Tianming's sword arced toward her head.
"Lowly slaves!" She opened her fiendsky eyes and released the last few phantasia dreamfiends she had been holding back to protect herself in a battle to the death.

Moran returned to the Ninelives Cave. Zi Zhen, covered in blood, asked, "How's he doing?"
"Is Dugu Meng dead?" Jiang Feifei asked.
Right before Moran could say a thing, the dozens of phantasia dreamfiends near them suddenly lost control and attacked everyone with abandon. Jiang Feifei snapped out of it and joyfully declared, "Dugu Meng’s dead! Lin Feng killed her!"
Once more, the morale of the Primordial Sands soared.
"Jiu Zhigui and Dugu Meng are both dead! The ashuras and the Sin Pantheon no longer have anyone leading them!"
"I heard that the wonderian leaders from Empyrean Yin-Yang are also dead!"
"Lin Feng killed the leaders of all three factions!"
"We won!"
The loss of leaders always came as a huge blow, especially to the ashuras. When they saw the phantasia dreamfiends losing control, they immediately broke ranks and routed. "Run!"
"Give pursuit!" Jiang Feifei ordered. The situation on Miracle Mountain was clear to all. No troops were lying in ambush, so there was no need to hold back on chasing the routed foes. The side that had the upper hand would relentlessly beat down on the losers!
The youths from the Primordial Sands vented all the frustration and hate they had suffered as they chased down the troops of the Eightpart Pantheons. More and more warbeasts lost control and started fighting among themselves as the ashuras' casualties mounted, no longer posing a threat.
Their victory was already set in stone, and everyone from the Primordial Sands knew who to thank for it! While they continued taking care of the fleeing enemies, Tianming claimed all of Dugu Meng's possessions before flying back to the cave.
"You all, go to Lin Chaoge and help him there!" Tianming said to Jiang Feifei, Zi Zhen, and Moran.
"What about you?" Jiang Feifei asked.
"That fool Pu Lingyi’s busy with the little beastballs," Tianming said through gritted teeth. "I have to deal with that before I come back. It won't take long!"
"Alright!" They set off to finish the battle.
"Wait a second!" Tianming said, "That first-ranked deva is quite strong! Don't engage him too forcefully. Wait for me!"
