Chapter 4038 - Ancestral Void Realm

"They're all dead! All fifty thousand geniuses from the starforges.... The army's all wiped out!"

"Aaaaaah!" Countless hearts were broken at the sight of the mass execution of cosmic god essences. Ear-piercing cries rang out across the Ten Desolate Starforges, shaking the entire Upper Star Ruin and the elites of the Eightpart Pantheons. Though there were thirty thousand disciples from the Primordial Sands in the fight, the one who had really led to the outcome was the flameyellow youth. The battle had completely rocked the world of the Eightpart Pantheons and shattered their teeth, which they were forced to swallow.

The Eightpart Pantheons had reigned supreme for so long, only to finally be forced into an ice-cold bath. Countless people cried in the Ten Desolate Starforges. The rage of the other worlds from the pantheons was so strong that they were sending forces to the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins on their own for revenge.

But no matter what response they had, it wouldn't change how Tianming dealt with everyone there. He even claimed all their possessions in the process.

The disciples of the Primordial Sands also worked fast, with some distributing the spoils and others using ninelives fruits to heal the injured. All of them were smiling, a sight that mocked the Eightpart Pantheons even more.

"We have to kill all those crooks!"

"The cosmic god geniuses from the other starforges should go in fast, especially those from imperial lineages!"

"We have to send at least a million people in to wipe them all out! There's no way the thirty thousand Primordial Sands crooks will be able to hold out against that!"

Those that wielded power in the Eightpart Pantheons were ready to make their move. However, there were still some voices of reason.

"There's no need to send any more geniuses in there. The lower ruins aren't that valuable. Instead, it's filled with esoteric dangers. Something like what happened today was an unpreventable loss. We should really focus on the upper ruins, which will connect us to the Primordial Sands. The conquest there is almost done and we're right on their doorstep. We can just mobilize our main army to wipe out those savage xeno barbarians."

"Once we conquer the Primordial Sands, the lower ruins will be pointless! The only things of worth there are the little beastballs, but we'll be able to claim them once the Primordial Sands is done for!"

The lower ruins were merely one of the battlefields that they were fighting in. Despite their unfortunate loss there, it didn't really affect the war between the Eightpart Pantheons and the Primordial Sands that much.

"As long as we wipe out the Primordial Sands, we'll be the sole winners left behind. With the Heavenly Dao, we can rule the universe for eternity!"

The Primordial Sands were the final frontier for them to conquer.

A mysterious dark vortex gate hung above in the sky of Miracle Mountain, overlooking the entire battlefield that nobody watching noticed at all. Within it, a dark thousand-meter-tall cosmic goddess looked down at a youth on the battlefield. "Big Brother, he managed to massively help us out without intending to." She was none other than Mushan Xue, the flameyellow voidkin.

"Hmmm...." A youth with messy hair sat with his legs crossed and elbow on his knee, eyes closed and smiling.

"Should we bring him to the Ancestral Void Realm to meet our family?" Mushan Xue asked.

"There's no rush. Let's wait and see," said the youth.

"Alright." She nodded and turned her gaze elsewhere. "Thanks to the chaos he caused, we managed to hook a few big fish without even lifting a finger."

"It's still too soon. This isn't enough to really shake the foundations of those Eightpart Pansies. Let's keep waiting."

Mushan Xue smiled in resignation. "Big Brother, are you going to make use of him to the end? You're waiting to see how many more fish willingly bite on the hooks, right?"

"That kid’s a genius and perfect to use to draw hate to him. It'd be a huge waste to not use him for something he's so good at. Not to mention, we already gave him Miracle Mountain, so many ninelives fruits, and the little ancestralbeasts. He's already gotten a lot. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement for both of us."

"Then—"

"Are you talking about the return?" The feral youth opened his eyes and completely saw through her.

"Yes."

"It's been so many years and I already figured it out long ago. While the seniors might still have some reservations, it's no matter. Once they return to the Upper Star Ruin, they'll see that all that's in the past is nothing but history. They should let go of it, or there'll be no future for the flameyellow voidkin."

"The flameyellow voidkin never existed in the first place, right?"

"That's right. We're nothing but a bunch of exiled criminals who failed in our struggle. In a way, the fact that we weren't exterminated is a kind of mercy. The reason they lost to the Eightpart Pantheons was also due to the same kindness that gave birth to that mercy. This is merely the consequences of cause and effect, karma."

"That's how we became the last hope of the flameyellow voidkin. We’ll be the ones that return to the Upper Star Ruin. Is that also due to karma?" Mushan Xue said, deep in thought.

The feral man sucked in a deep breath. "Either way, the Ancestral Void Realm is a place where people suffer and get twisted. We’ve suffered and endured for so many generations for the sake of the younger generation. Even if we're acting like moths flying into flames, at least we will burn out in the light, right?"

Mushan Xue's eyes were somewhat red. She tightly held the feral man's hand and smiled. "The Eightpart Pantheons may have grown to become as strong as the Flameyellow used to be, but we’ll be the final winners!"

He smiled and stroked her head before standing up and looking at the youth outside. "At the very least, he’ll be able to shake things up."

It didn't take long for the battlefield to be cleaned up, as everyone worked without rest. Tianming had also dealt with what he needed to. He turned back to the cosmic gods, who passionately looked at him.

A large fraction of the thirty thousand had been turned into essences, only to be restored thanks to the ninelives fruits. None of them had been truly lost in the battle against the Eightpart Pantheons. Then again, even with their bodies restored, their deeper injuries still need some time to heal.
