Chapter 4095 – Terrifying Dream
Chapter 4095 – Terrifying Dream
The lifebound beasts were all unable to contain themselves. The most excited were actually Bai Ye and Bai Ling. Though they were the sixth Primordial Chaos Beast, they had returned later. Since coming back, they had yet to witness the birth of any new siblings.
As for an experienced older brother like Ying Huo, it was long used to such things.
Even so, when faced with the long-awaited arrival of Eighth, Tianming and his earliest partner still felt a bit nervous.
This was mainly because Sixth had left them with psychological trauma. Sixth still had one vita outside secretly plotting rebellion. It had forty-five infant souls, more than Bai Ling and Bai Ye combined. Who knew what mischief it could accomplish?
All Tianming was hoping for from this new sibling was obedience and not strength!
“Shh, don’t scare your new sibling.” Tianming suppressed the restlessness and impatience of this group of agitated beasts and summoned Eighth from the lifebound space.
“Shhh, be good, it’s okay.” With the smile of a doting father, Tianming spoke in the gentlest tone he could manage. He squatted down first, waiting quietly.
Finally, under the expectant gazes of all, a gray coffin appeared before their eyes and gently set down on the ground.
“Isn’t this just the same as before? Does this count as being born?” Bai Ye floated in the air and asked curiously.
“It’s different now.” Tianming examined the coffin closely. He noticed that the ghoul depictions on the gray coffin had already vanished, and its essence had changed. Before birth, it had been sinister, brutal, and ferocious, like a ferocious fanged monster. But now, although it still possessed a dark and yin-type nature, it came across as pure as a newborn miniature cosmos. Even the material of the coffin felt fresh and juvenile, as if carved from young wood....
The gray dead-fish eye on the coffin lid had disappeared. The coffin simply lay there, surrounded by one man and eight beasts, unmoving, as if frozen in time.
“Be good....” Tianming, like an experienced daddy, reached out and placed his hand gently on the lid, speaking softly, “I’m going to open the lid now, alright? Don’t be afraid, these are all your brothers and sisters. They all like you and have been with you for a long time.”
As he spoke, Tianming gently pushed open the gray wooden lid. As light entered the coffin’s interior. Tianming and the others widened their eyes....
“Wow.” They couldn’t help but let out an exclamation.
Inside the gray coffin lay a little baby girl. Although she had soft gray hair and long eyelashes, she was still as delicate and lifelike as a porcelain doll. She slept on her side, her lashes trembling lightly, radiating a purity that made one feel warm and fuzzy inside.
“So cute....” Xian Xian and Ji Ji couldn’t help but lean closer.
This baby girl was also a spiritform like them... meaning that Eighth’s true body was the gray coffin itself, while the spiritform was merely the manifestation of her mental will. It was just a personified form to express her thoughts and emotions, but not her essence.
“A girl, meow!” Meow Meow got the answer and hopped about in excitement. For this lazy cat, such excitement was rare.
The youngest little sister so far, and so exquisitely cute. Naturally, all the elder siblings’ eyes lit up.
“It’s the most sinister kind of power, yet it feels so pure and natural. Truly worthy of being a Primordial Chaos Beast.” Tianming felt a faint sense of awe.
“Oh, right....” Tianming recalled something and looked toward the baby girl’s chest. There, she was hugging two eggs as she slept. Her hold was incredibly gentle, clearly cradling the last two Primordial Chaos Beast eggs with utmost care.
“It seems I misunderstood it from the start. She wasn’t going to harm these two eggs, but wanted to protect them....” Tianming couldn’t help but smile.
Among the Primordial Chaos Beasts, there were more boys than girls, and now at last they had another younger sister.
For a while, everyone lay around the gray coffin, watching the baby girl spirit sleep peacefully.
“What exactly is it?” Curious, Tianming reached out his right hand and lightly stroked the smooth, long hair on the baby girl’s forehead.
At the moment of contact, his caeli was suddenly dragged into a dream, and everything around him melted away.
“At last, a dream again!” Sixth still had not shown Tianming a dream. This was likely related to the vita not having returned.
In this dream, Tianming felt incomparably small. The scenery around him blurred as he hurtled forward. It was as if he was in the Flameyellow Divine Path or some wormhole expressway. Endless brilliant light streaked past and countless images flashed, as though he were flying through the long river of spacetime toward another shore of the cosmos.
When his mind gradually steadied, he could vaguely see that those things flashing by were nova sources. Large and small, there were even maniverse and imperial-class.... No matter how large, each nova source was only a beam of light that was left behind in a moment!
In this dream, time seemed to lose all meaning, and Tianming even forgot how long he had been flying.
Then, dawn seemed to break before him as he ground to a halt, and an immense spectacle appeared before him!
“This is....” In the void before his eyes appeared an incomparably vast world!
It was not like Lan Huang’s mobile continent. Instead, it resembled a cuboid prison suspended in space. Countless ‘living things’ didn’t dwell on its surface, but within it.
It was a gray, dark, sinister world steeped in endless sin!
Tianming’s perspective moved inside. He saw countless vitae falling into this world. Infected by its gloom, their faces twisted in struggle and screams as they transformed into hellish ghouls one by one....
They were exactly like the ghouls summoned by the devas!
Trapped in an eternal vortex of sin, they were ferocious, violent, and slaughtered each other, until their lives ended and daos perished. When they were extinguished, they became pure energy that fused into this world, reduced to a speck of dust or a grain of sand in the endless realm.
“Isn’t this the Hell the devas spoke of? It’s actually this vast?”
