Those words rang endlessly in the minds of the denizens of Grand Feng. The glee they had felt from before changed into rampant streams of tears. They had mocked Tianming, their benefactor, for overestimating his own prowess. Only just now did they learn that Tianming could easily slaughter them like animals even if he couldn't quite stand up against the Eightpart Pantheons.

"Wait!" Feng Buhuo showed himself and took out a transmission stone. "Li Tianming, our starlord wishes to speak to you!"

"Feng Linxue?" Tianming paused his attack and looked at the figure on the transmission stone. The ice-blue goddess looked at Tianming calmly all the way from Grand Xia Voidback. Tianming lowered his army and the ship to apply pressure. "What do you want? Out with it."

"Li Tianming, let me first thank you for coming to Grand Feng's aid from before. All of us remember your efforts fondly," Feng Linxue said.

"Fondly, you say?" Tianming looked around with disbelief. He wouldn't have known how they really saw him if not for Yin Chen. "Very well, I'll take your word for it. What else?"

"Out of my gratitude towards you, I came all the way to Grand Xia Voidback to beg for mercy on your behalf from the Eightpart Pantheons. An Shen of the ashuras has already arrived here with an advance party. He understands you well and knows that you are not one of the flameyellow divinity and have nothing to do with the flameyellow voidkin either. You just happened to come across their legacies, but that doesn't mean you need to bear their destiny. An Shen values you highly and wishes to talk to you about giving you a position most high in the Upper Star Ruin. He is even willing to help restore your star to the imperial class!" Feng Linxue said in a formal tone.

"An Shen? Who is he and how is he able to speak for the entire Eightpart Pantheons? You would have to get the eight imperators to speak together for it to be remotely convincing."

Feng Linxue remained silent for a moment at the insult. She spoke with a few others before turning back to him. "An Shen represents how well the Eightpart Pantheons regard you. This is the best opportunity for you to opt out and cash in on your efforts. You are a most magnificent talent in this universe, so you should not ruin your future potential for a grudge that is not even yours."

Tianming laughed at the sight of her face. "So, at the end of the day, you still refuse to believe I can defeat the Eightpart Pantheons."

"Perhaps." Feng Linxue shook her head like she was looking at a petulant child. With a strict voice, she said, "An Shen's patience is limited. The Eightpart Pantheons only ever extend the olive branch once. Missing it will be to your eternal detriment. You are about to commit a grave mistake. I have only come here to help you acquire this opportunity because of my gratitude to you. I pray that you will be able to suppress your impulsiveness and see things like a mature genius would!"

"So, your idea of being a mature genius is kneeling to the Eightpart Pantheons, is that it?"

"The strong ruling over the weak is a universal decree," Feng Linxue said with a smirk. "Those that question it have long fallen into obscurity, forgotten in a distant corner of the universe. That's why, please stop your rash actions. There's still time to turn back!"

"Rash actions?"

"That's right! The Eightpart Pantheons will only tolerate you this one last time! If you refuse to comply, there will be no future to speak of. Everything and everyone that's associated with you will vanish forever in this universe!" Feng Linxue threatened with intense pressure.

The crowd below also joined in. They were starting to believe that guiding Tianming back on the righteous path was the right way to repay him. How could they have known that Tianming's omnisentient threads all came from the Flameyellow?

"Li Tianming, turn back and you may yet roam the Upper Star Ruin freely!"

"What are the flameyellow divinities to you anyway? Why would you serve them so loyally?"

"Defend! Defend!" Feng Buhuo roared. The blast from the ship wiped out the transmission stone in his hand and another million cosmic gods in an instant.

"Kill that fiend and protect our homes!" The populace of Grand Feng was also angered at Tianming's audacity and dreamed of being able to defeat him. Yet, he crushed their dreams in an instant. He made a powerful slash with the Grand-Orient Sword, instantly turning Feng Buhuo into ash. Feng Buhuo's eyes sprang wide open with disbelief. "He's that strong?!"

The army of Grand Feng was brave and seemed fully intent on fighting to their deaths, and Tianming was more than willing to oblige. "My friends, slaughter to your liking!"

The black cloud of ghouls descended upon the army just like that. Tianming was a one-man army! A hundred ghoul emperors and a thousand ghoul kings swept the lands of Grand Feng. Thanks to Yin Chen's reports, they were able to track down anyone no matter where they went to hide. Yin Chen communicated with Xi Xi directly, guiding the ghouls on their hunt without Tianming even needing to step in. All he had to do was deal with the strongest fighters. With Feng Buhuo out of the picture, Tianming dealt with the others as easily as chopping vegetables.

"If not for Yin Chen, I probably wouldn't find them given the chaos. But now, every cosmic god taller than a thousand meters won't be able to escape me!"

He went on a slaughtering spree. Who could possibly expect something like this out of a beastmaster and his lifebound beasts? The twenty million troops of Grand Feng suffered the onslaught of the ghoul army, performing no better than the troops from Grand Yue. If they dared to run, Tianming would send another blast towards Feng Universe City.
