Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4185 - You’re Looking for Death!

Chapter 4185 - You’re Looking for Death!

In another corner of Grand Xia, Lord Yue, Feng Linxue, and Meng Yao had been dumped in a deserted area. No one paid any attention to them.

Only they themselves knew just how awkward it was.

From start to finish, Lord Yue didn’t speak. If he still had a face, it would probably be black from gloom. However, that didn’t mean he lay there waiting to die. Fortunately, their spatial rings were still there. Lord Yue took out a large number of golden ninelives fruit and divided a portion between Feng Linxue and Meng Yao.

“Where did you get these ninelives fruits?” Feng Linxue asked coldly.

“Jiang Tianzhou gave them to me. Is that answer satisfactory?” Lord Yue replied in the same cold tone.

“The Grand Yue’s juniors didn’t even enter the ruins. The Grand Jiang still distributed that many to you, yet you kept opposing him and judged a gentleman with a petty mind. Don’t you feel ashamed?” Feng Linxue sneered.

“You make it sound like your Grand Feng’s youths entered the ruins,” Lord Yue said.

“At least we didn’t ask for their ninelives fruit,” Feng Linxue scoffed.

“If you don’t want them, then don’t take them. Give them back!” Lord Yue growled, clearly on the verge of losing his temper.

“Give them back? In your dreams. They’re not yours anyway!” Feng Linxue showed no courtesy at all. She immediately absorbed those ninelives fruit and some other healing medicine.

“Stop arguing. What matters most right now is to recover our mobility as soon as possible. Only then can we help the Eightpart Pantheons and earn some benefits.” Meng Yao quickly tried to mediate.

Feng Linxue turned even more frustrated when she remembered that. She sneered, “Empress Xia and the wonderians are already playing the brother-sister act together. We three are nothing but pawns without even our clans beside us. It’s amazingly deluded to think we can still gain benefits now.”

“Feng Linxue, shut up!” Lord Yue ignited with white flames as his body twisted and reformed. His newly formed eyes glared death at her.

“Feng Linxue, you can’t speak nonsense like that. Since we chose the Eightpart Pantheons, we must stay firm in our faith and be clear on who the ruler of the universe is! It must be our own fault if they don’t like us. We should first reflect on where we went wrong,” Meng Yao said earnestly.

“If you want to be like that shameless Empress Xia and grovel like a bitch before Mi Shen, do you still need to reflect? Just undress and do it!” Feng Linxue snapped.

“Feng Linxue, you’re looking for death, aren’t you...” Lord Yue glared murderously at her.

“Yue Xiao, you’ve become more and more useless. You used to be carefree, ambitious, and responsible. Now for the sake of one woman, you don’t even dare to face reality. Do you still not understand? In the eyes of the Eightpart Pantheons, our only value now is as three worldcores. And you still dare to have an ambiguous relationship with Empress Xia? If Li Tianming and the others are defeated, the first one to die will be you!” Feng Linxue sneered coldly.

“Stop arguing, stop arguing. Our clans are hostages, it’s normal that the Eightpart Pantheons look down on us. As long as we remain loyal, they’ll treat us better,” Meng Yao said urgently.

“Shut up!” Lord Yue and Feng Linxue were united in this.

After that, their bodies gradually recovered. Although they were still somewhat injured, at the very least, they regained mobility.

Feng Linxue glared coldly at them and boldly said, “I’ll be blunt! I’ve seen it clearly. True, the Eightpart Pantheons are unimaginably powerful. But since we can’t become their favorite bitches, our only ending is to be cannon fodder. The wonderians wants to use Grand Xia as a pawn, while the Sin Pantheon can’t wait for us to be wiped out so they can be the only primalwinger race... For us, staying here means certain death! We might as well side with Tianming, fight one glorious battle, so we at least can die doing what we want!”

“No, don’t get confused at such a crucial moment. That reckless idea of yours will destroy Grand Feng and drag us down with it!” Meng Yao said with a trembling voice.

“Yue Xiao!” Feng Linxue didn’t even look at Meng Yao. She stared at Lord Yue and said, “Didn’t you see how Xia Yuan acts in front of them? If you’re still a man, if you still have even a shred of dignity, then stand up, admit your misjudgment and failure, and take responsibility! You were momentarily blinded by a woman and almost doomed my Grand Feng. I will never forgive you, but you must at least give your people of Grand Yue a chance to forgive you!”

Lord Yue clenched his fists, his head down as his eyes burned with fire.

“Don’t listen to her nonsense. This is our fault!”

Before Meng Yao could finish speaking, Lord Yue slapped him across the face, stunning him.

“You’ve come to your senses?” Feng Linxue raised an eyebrow.

Lord Yue sneered. “Everyone has their own judgment. I still bet that the Eightpart Pantheons will win!”

“How clever.” Feng Linxue turned around and prepared to fly upward. Just then, her transmission stone lit up.

“It’s Li Tianming...” Her whole body trembled. She activated the stone and faced the white-haired youth.

“I told you earlier that Lord Yue wanted to harm you, thereby saving Grand Feng from disaster,” Tianming said.

“So what?” Feng Linxue replied.

“Though you disappointed me, for the sake of you being a descendant of my wife’s bloodline, I don’t mind giving you another warning. Empress Xia has proposed to the Eightpart Pantheons to take your worldcores. They’re on their way. If you don’t believe me, wait there. If you’re willing to believe me, I’ll give you one last chance to atone,” Tianming said.

Feng Linxue shut off the messaging stone, looked at Lord Yue, and asked with a smile, “Well? Do you really need that woman to cause your death before you admit your mistake?”

Lord Yue lowered his head, veins bulging.

“Goodbye, idiot!” Feng Linxue took advantage of the chaos and took off into the sky. She raced toward the astralguard formation.

Once inside, she would be safe!

From above, she looked into the distance. Sure enough, she saw Empress Xia leading several marshals over.

“It really only is moments like this you can see how vicious a woman can be for survival and vanity,” Feng Linxue laughed and crashed into the formation!

Luckily, Tianming had warned her, or she might have stayed there pointlessly.

Just as she had secured her safety, Feng Lingxue heard the crackling of flames behind her.

Feng Linxue turned around and immediately rolled her eyes. Following close behind were Lord Yue and Meng Yao.

“Well, well. You talked a big game, but your bodies were honest,” Feng Linxue mocked. She knew that once Empress Xia and the others chased this far, the two of them must have confirmed it with their own eyes as well.
