Chapter 4235 - Older Brother In Front, Younger Brother Behind

If Li Tianzi was anxious, then Tianming’s anxiety was on another level entirely. In the Realm of Chaos, those familiar names were veteran powerhouses, which placed tremendous pressure on him as a rookie.

"I’m good to go whenever," Tianming said.

The two brothers waited quietly outside Plunderlord Palace. Just as Li Tianzi had predicted, muffled sounds soon emanated from within. The top cosmic gods were engaged in a hushed argument.

Suddenly, the palace doors burst open with a deafening crash, and a sea of lightning surged forth, swirling up to the sky in a violent storm. It was Imperator Jian, Lin Xiaoting, and others. Tianming saw the fury of Violetblitz’s cosmic gods, their features crackling with lightning as they parted unhappily. Following Imperator Jian, Imperator Zhu, Imperator Lan, and a procession of other cosmic gods took flight, soaring away from Skyplunder Capital in haste. In an instant, they were all gone!

It seemed the negotiation failed to satisfy any party's objectives and might have further strained relations. Imperator Feng was the last to emerge from Plunderlord Palace. What the flamemaple cosmic gods lacked in numbers, they made up for with their fiery presence. Unlike the other imperatores, he remained relaxed and detached.

Upon exiting the palace, he glanced at Tianming and Li Tianzi and greeted them with a smile. "Hello, imperial sons! Perhaps our next meeting will be on the Inverse Battlefield."

"Imperator Feng." Cupping his hands, Li Tianzi bowed.

"I will instruct flamemaple to forgo all offensive actions against both of you." With a smile still on his face, Imperator Feng said solemnly.

"Why?" Li Tianzi was slightly taken aback.

"You should never burn your bridges behind you," Imperator Feng grinned, turning to Tianming. "After all, there was a time the imperial son terrified me."

"Imperator Feng has real vision. You see the big picture," Li Tianzi said.

"Oh, you flatter me." Nodding, Imperator Feng promptly left with the flamemaple cosmic gods.

Following this scene, Skyplunder Capital fell silent. Many cosmic gods understood the implications of the failed negotiations. A wave of despair washed over Nullity and the people’s gazes were filled with gloom.

"Let's go." Li Tianzi turned to Tianming. The atmosphere made him uncomfortable.

"Big Brother, you’re leaving without saying a word to Father and Mother?" Mu Qingqing asked softly.

"I don’t have anything to say," Li Tianzi calmly replied.

"Alright." Mu Qingqing nodded and followed him.

"Hold on, is she really coming with us?" Tianming pointed at Mu Qingqing.

"Of course. I'll take you there, then you’re on your own. Who else would have the time to be your guide? By the time you remember everything, it’ll be too late," Li Tianzi grumbled.

"Fine." Tianming no longer dwelled on it.

Under countless watchful eyes, the trio launched into the sky, cutting through the wind to begin their journey.

"Farewell, imperial sons!" Excited voices echoed throughout Nullity.

From the palace doors, two figures watched their children disappear into the sky, remaining motionless for a long time.

"When will you tell him the truth?" Leaning against the man, Wei Jing’s voice broke as she asked her question.

Li Muyang sighed softly. "That’s too cruel. Let's wait and see how destiny ultimately unfolds.”

Wei Jing closed her eyes. "I hope everything goes well."

Propelled by the 90,000-meter-tall cosmic god ahead, Tianming and Mu Qingqing swiftly departed Nullity. Upon looking back, he saw a massive, black spherical vortex. It was the imperial-class world itself. What a magnificent sight!

Without another word, Li Tianzi surged with power and shot back towards Nullity, creating an earth-shattering collision.

Space shattered like glass. Within the cracks lay a world enveloped in dark gray fog. The first sight of this world left him momentarily stunned.

Isn’t this the Xenoworld? He thought to himself.

However, Tianming discovered that it was distinctly different from the Xenoworld in the Upper Star Ruin. While they shared the same warped, interconnected properties and lacked the concept of distance, this one seemed far more solid.

"Follow me." Li Tianzi rushed into the crack.

Tianming quickly caught up, plunging into this bizarre world. It was clear that the Inverse Battlefield was within this very space. He felt a fleeting sensation as soon as he entered this world.

"These are the markers for Nullity and the Inverse Battlefield. Keep them so you can travel back and forth." Leading the way, Li Tianzi tossed him two shimmering orbs bearing the words "Inverse" and "Zero.”

Tianming put away the Zero Marker and held the Inverse Marker in his hand. Just as they had in the Xenoabyss, the markers possessed an innate power to guide him, so he could reach the Inverse Battlefield without Li Tianzi's guidance.

"Put away the markers for now and follow me!" Shifting between close and distant, Li Tianzi’s distorted voice emanated from the front.

"Didn't you say I’m on my own once we get here? I can use the marker.” Tianming pursed his lips.

"Tianming, Big Brother must have located a dazzling radiance for you. He’s taking you there first," Mu Qingqing said softly.

"Dazzling radiance?"

Tianming recalled that this item could advance a skyplunderer’s orders, which made it the perfect “prey” for Daosteal. Glancing up, he found Li Tianzi with his back to him. His silence confirmed Mu Qingqing’s words.

He's a bit arrogant, but a good brother for now. Tianming sighed.

His brother's true character and feelings toward him remained a mystery. Were they really brothers? To admit this would be to deny his entire experience in the chaos skyjail, which he was unwilling to do.

The word "brother" reminded him of Lingfeng. Just as the thought occurred to him, a sudden jolt in his chest made him look over his shoulder. Behind him was a world of shifting light and shadow, space undulating like waves and twisting into vortices. From within it, a shadowy figure seemed to be following him.

"Little Feng?" It suddenly dawned on him.

The Inverse Battlefield's link to the Xenoworld explained how Lingfeng reached this realm. He must have used that passage. Li Tianzi seemed unaware that Lingfeng was following them.

It was a strange feeling, with his older brother in front and his younger one behind.
