Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4240 - Old Fart

Chapter 4240 - Old Fart

"Mu Ziyan," Marshal Jun said as his mouth curved into a smile. "I will give you one last chance. Hand over what you found. If you don't appreciate this chance, don't blame me for ruining the good relationship we've developed with Nullity."

"You've already killed more than a hundred of us. Why bring up good relations now?" Mu Ziyan said, looking up with hate and defiance.

"Should I not have? Fine!" Marshal Jun's words incited a laugh from his subordinates. He raised his hand to silence them and inspected Mu Ziyan deeply. "You really don't plan to hand it over, do you?"

"I'll never tell you where it is even if it costs me my life!"

"Your life? I won't go so far. Your status is nothing to scoff at, after all. I can even claim a ransom by bringing you back to Nullity." He smirked as a beastlike expression appeared on his face. "But today, I do want to have some fun with your splitverse sigil..."

The cosmic gods of the Mu Clan immediately grimaced and began cursing Marshal Jun while those of Violetblitz broke into laughter and cheered.

"Do her, Marshal Jun!"

"Make her submit to your massive thing! Let's see if she yields!"

"I bet she'll cave from the pleasure and offer you everything to continue!"

Mu Ziyan had expected that this would happen. Her entire body shook as she began to make her body self-destruct, scattering chaotic power everywhere.

"How dare you?!" Marshal Jun raged at her audacity. Tens of cosmic gods jumped forward and used their chaotic power to create a sphere within which they trapped her, preventing her from making any move. "How naive, you're just making it harder for yourself. Men, send her to my room. I will teach this beauty of the Mu Clan a lesson."

Just then, someone rushed in with a report. "Marshal Jun! Someone's outside!"

"Who is it? You can receive it on your own, or if it's an enemy, fight them! Do you need to tell me everything?!"

"It's an important person! He's the Skyplunder imperial son, Li Tianming! The one that just returned!"

"What?!" Everyone was stunned. They had just heard of this not long ago!

Marshal Jun's face paled. "How many people are protecting him?!"

"Only Mu Qingqing's clone, and she's not even four thousand meters. I checked and nobody else is around."

"Really nobody?"

"It's true!"

Marshal Jun's expression turned odd. "Why would that lucky fellow not stay in Nullity and dare to come here with nothing but his skypole stars? What does he want?"

"He wants us to release the captives of the Mu Clan."

"Hahahaha... Liu Xiaoyang, go out and ask them to fuck off. Tell them I'm too busy to mess with a cowardly turtle like him."

"Marshal Jun, he's your great grandfather's nemesis and just made a thousand-year oath with him. Shouldn't we be more polite?" Liu Xiaoyang asked nervously.

"Why should we bother being polite? I heard that he's a cripple shorter than a thousand meters. By the time he gets back to his previous peak, things will have moved on! Also, I heard that he turned insane and threatens to exterminate whole clans for no reason now. Who knows if it's not just some mad impostor?"

The goons laughed in unison once more. Most of them, Marshal Jun included, were around five hundred years of age and were the youngest batch of geniuses in the Realm of Chaos. Matters that happened a hundred millennia ago were too far back to matter to them.

"Fine. I'll go humiliate that turtle," Liu Xiaoyang gleefully said. Not long after he left, a loud boom could be heard. Then, tens of cosmic-god essences came smashing in towards them. They were all Violetblitz cosmic gods! Marshal Jun's killing intent was immediately sparked. His head snapped ahead as he watched a four-thousand-meter-tall white-haired youth enter.

"Are you Lin Xiaoting's great grandson, Lin Wanjun? The strongest genius under five hundred in Violetblitz? I heard you're one of the best in the Realm of Chaos," Tianming said.

"So what if I am, undying turtle kid?" Lin Wanjun burst out laughing with his arms crossed.

Tianming gave him a good look. Mushan Xue is under five hundred and a first-level heavencosmic god, and she's about the best we got in the Realm of Order. Lin Wanjun is about the same age, but he's a sixth-level heavencosmic god. Not bad. I get why he's arrogant.

Mushan Xue wasn't the strongest genius in the Upper Star Ruin, and it was simply much easier to break through in the Realm of Chaos, so the disparity was understandable. As for seniority, Tianming didn't really care. His true age was less than five hundred, so his enemy was about the same age. There was no need to treat him like a junior even though he was Tianming's nemesis's great grandson, but that didn't stop him from throwing his seniority around.

"Very well. I will teach you a lesson on behalf of your great grandfather today."

"Hahahaha... Forget it, old fart. I worry that you'll hurt your back! Just save all of us time and leave. I don't want to bother beating up your shell."

"Marshal Jun," Liu Xiaoyang whispered, "even though we can't hurt him, we can confine him and take him back to Violetblitz! If word gets out that their precious Skyplunder imperial son got beaten into his turtle shell and taken away by a group of youngsters, we'd be able to humiliate the Skyplunder emperor completely!"

Lin Wanjun didn't initially have such ambitions, but Liu Xiaoyang sparked them. He was no longer interested in Mu Ziyan. "Very well, old turtle. I will play with you and teach you a lesson of how times have changed."

Mu Qingqing whispered, "Are you really going to fight someone who could be your great grandson? Isn't this embarrassing?"

Tianming couldn't hold it anymore. "I'm only three hundred! He could be your great grandson, but he couldn't be mine!" It wasn't like the Lin Xiaoting of this world was identical to the one Tianming knew either!

"Fine..." Mu Qingqing could only nod. Though Tianming was young, she still thought it would be embarrassing if he couldn't defeat those youngsters and ended up being pissed on.

"Great Grandaunt, he was about to violate me! Save us!" Mu Ziyan begged.

Mu Qingqing looked at the children and saw how they had suffered. Biting her lip, she no longer cared about the inappropriateness of acting against one's juniors. "Let's fight, then. We'll teach these great grandchildren a lesson!"
