Chapter 4301 - Large and Small Gamble

"You have a billion pairs of eyes watching the entire battlefield to track me down, but too bad for you, I have trillions of eyes that are watching all your eyes!" Tianming smirked. The Ruinless Zone was large enough for him to move around without much restriction, so there was no need for him to engage them in direct fights at all. He easily circumvented the large enemy force as if he was taking a walk in his own garden. The audience outside could scarcely believe he existed, given how he wasn't detected in the slightest.

"How are things on your end?" he asked Lingfeng.

"Not bad." Lingfeng knew the reason Tianming wanted him there with him. "Don't worry, I can phase out at any time. Nobody can encounter me in the Ruinless Zone as long as I don't want them to."

Lingfeng alone could endlessly hold the fort and make a joke out of the whole thing. However, Tianming didn't want to exploit his time endlessly, so he focused on strengthening himself as much as he could until he could put an end to this farce. He would be a one-man army and win this. It was far from impossible.

"Alright, I'm going into seclusion." Tianming, still undetected, used Daosteal and began absorbing the hundredfold dazzling radiance that Yueling Zhao had brought, a sight that sent Yueling Zhao fuming mad.

"Mom, that's my dazzling radiance! He stole it!" Yueling Zhao complained. Imperator Ji could only console her helplessly, but that didn't help. "How is he able to walk around openly like that amidst the crowd?! Can nobody see him?"

"The points of view from inside the Ruinless Zone are not the same as what we see from the outside. We'll have to wait a while before anything will happen," Imperator Ji said.

"There's no way more than a billion people can't see that sparkling dazzling radiance. It's only a matter of time before they breach the skypole stars," Yueling Xiao said, voice cold.

"He can't be on the run forever, right?" Yueling Zhao didn't think much when she said this, yet it turned out to be true. In the coming days, the audience outside watched as Tianming cultivated and easily changed locations, evading the sweeping teams of heavencosmic gods one after another with surgical precision. When he felt like it, he attacked them too and killed whoever he wanted. When he wasn't feeling it, nobody could find him as he cultivated peacefully, much to the chagrin of the spectators. How could he not be detected even a single time?

Unbeknownst to them, Li Muyang's reputation kept on rising as more and more people heard how the battle went down. Things got more and more awkward for Yueling Starcage and the violetblitzians as more time elapsed. Tianming killed and cultivated as he pleased before he finally left the Ruinless Zone. In other words, as long as Lingfeng was defeated, the bet would be over!

Yet, Tianming seemed completely nonchalant when he left. He even waved to everyone and said, "It's been three years, and there's still so many of you here! Wow, I truly am honored. Thank you for all the attention, but I have to take a break back at Nullity to enjoy some fine tea and wine. I'll come back when I have time!"

Just like that, Tianming left the area as if he was going on a relaxing stroll. The cosmic gods from Yueling Starcage almost bled from their eyes at the sight of his carefree attitude.

"Mother, who knows how much longer this will go on? Just send troops to take Violetmoon Fortress! We'll attack them when they least expect it!" Yueling Zhao snapped.

"Absolutely not!" Yueling Xiao got her granddaughter to shut up in a stern tone. "The Adjudicator is on our side. Doing so would be an affront to his authority."

"Dad, you can't tell that to this child," Imperator Ji said.

"My bad." Yueling Xiao snapped out of it and reminded Yueling Zhao, "Don't tell anyone I said that, ever."

"I got it," Yueling Zhao said.

Imperator Ji looked in the direction Tianming had left in and said, "Don't worry, he must be going back to the Realm of Order to break through. That means he intends to win the bet and won't let things drag out forever."

"Oh?" Yueling Xiao figured it out with some thought. "As long as he's willing to fight, we'll eventually have a chance to encounter him. The skypole stars won't last forever, and we can wear them down with our forces."

"Mom, does that kid really want to marry you?" Yueling Zhao asked, feeling stumped. Unlike her grandfather, this was something that stood out to her.

"Shut up," Imperator Ji said, glaring at her. "There's no chance we will lose, no matter what."

"Why?"

Imperator Ji smiled sinisterly. "This bet is nothing but a small one in the grand scheme of things. The Realm of Chaos is the larger bet. Losing a smaller bet won't affect the larger one at all!"
