Chapter 2269: Valley of the Sacred Elephant

Although the Valley of the Sacred Elephant had a lot of good things, it was a rare destination for a lot of cultivators. The valley wasn’t the territory for humans. It had the canyon’s strongest beasts, the Crazed Elephant.

The Crazed Elephants were famous beasts in Gale Canyon. Their race had always lived in the Valley of the Sacred Elephant where water was clear and the land was fertile. This was the most suitable location for their race to survive.

Crazed Elephants have their name because of their fighting style. Their clan also had a lot of powerful beings. Particularly strong crazed elephants could defeat cultivators in the Teleportation Stage.

Although Zhao Hai didn’t know if there were more powerful crazed elephants in the valley, he was certain that the place wasn’t as simple as it seems.

Strong Ape Mountain was known to only have Teleportation Stage Experts, which wasn’t true. The Valley of the Sacred Elephant was also known to only have Teleportation Stage Experts. The inner parts of the Valley of the Sacred Elephant were different as it had the Domain of the Sacred Elephant. Even Teleportation Realm experts wouldn’t dare enter the inner parts of the valley. Even Teleportation Stage experts wouldn’t come out alive if they entered the inner area.

Compared to the outer region, the inner region of the valley would seem like a completely different world. The inner valley had a large number of crazed elephants. And once those elephants became enraged, they were very terrifying.

There were also Diamond Body Realm crazed elephants spotted in the inner region of the valley. No cultivator would dare go there to cause trouble, unless they no longer valued their lives.

Looking around and sensing no danger as well as the lack of valuable resources, Zhao Hai proceeded inwards.

The valuable resources that Zhao Hai sought naturally weren’t things like herbs and ores. There were actually plenty of spiritual herbs in the outer region of the valley, at least much more than outside.

However, Zhao Hai didn’t care about those things. There are only two reasons why Zhao Hai was attracted to the valley, the first was essence gold and the second was the large outer region of the valley. With Zhao Hai’s speed, it took more than a day to reach the boundary between the outer and the inner region of the valley. Although Zhao Hai didn’t see any special resource, the inner and the outer region’s terrain was a little special. The two regions were connected like a gourd. The border of the inner and outer region was narrow, like the neck of a gourd.

Zhao Hai knew that there were almost no other beasts in the inner region of the valley. Inside were mostly crazed elephants. But since the crazed elephants were his target, Zhao Hai carefully moved forward.

Before long, Zhao Hai saw several crazed elephants eating. It must be said that the crazed elephants looked very much like elephants found on earth. But they looked closer to mammoths than existing elephants.

The crazed elephants were enormous with heights exceeding ten meters. Their bodies had some fur, but they weren’t very thick. They also had two ivory tusks that curved like scimitars.

Essence gold was a special resource in the Valley of the Sacred Elephant. However, the outer region of the valley has been mined out of essence gold. Three days passed and Zhao Hai still hasn’t found any essence gold. This surprised Zhao Hai. He heard that there is plenty of essence gold in the valley. However, he hasn’t found any after searching for three days.

On the fourth day, Zhao Hai found a piece of dark ore. The ore was placed in a very covert place. If it weren’t for Zhao Hai’s heightened senses, he wouldn’t have found it. The whole ore was the size of a basketball. If essence gold were extracted, it would only be as big as a ping pong ball.

However, this amount was already enough for Zhao Hai. As long as there’s a piece of gold essence present, the Space could produce a mine later on. Then from that point, Zhao Hai would have an unlimited amount of essence gold.

After obtaining essence gold, Zhao Hai’s thoughts returned to the crazed elephants. Elephants are social animals. In the previous group that Zhao Hai spotted, one of them was at the Teleportation Stage. In this case, it would be impossible for Zhao Hai to take one crazed elephant without being detected.

Zhao Hai didn’t act immediately. He observed the crazed elephants first. He looked at their habits to understand them more. Then he would take one crazed elephant when nobody is looking.

If the crazed elephants were indeed true elephants, then this old elephant was more likely going to the graveyard to die.
