Chapter 3219: Into The Pandemonium Volcano

Chapter 3219: Into The Pandemonium Volcano

Date: Unspecified

Time: Unspecified

Location: Myriad Realms, Dark Realm, Seven Prince of Hell Territory, Pandemonium City

Taking the Marsh Orc to a secluded area, I had unleashed my ice domain just to fit the two of us. Before turning him into a calamity daughter core, I decided to settle the scores.

Since the barrier was surveilling the city 24/7, it was common for visitors to use their domains within their private rooms to protect their privacy. Especially since most of those who visited Pandemonium City were there to discuss business. Not to mention, since the city was built around a volcano, it was very hot around here. So, using an ice domain here to save on spending top-grade ice rule stones was very common.

Therefore, me summoning my ice domain to teach this corrupt Marsh Orc official a lesson wasn’t a cause for alarm.

“Your Highness, please forgive me!” The Marsh Orc city official was kowtowing before me in my ice domain, cutting him off from the outside world completely.

After his screams and cries for help died in my ice domain, he finally tucked his tail between his legs and began to beg for forgiveness to save his skin, despite knowing that I wouldn’t kill him in the city, as it would immediately trigger the city’s barrier, alarming the city authorities.

Well, he didn’t know I was trying to infiltrate the volcano at the center of the city. For all he knew, I could be a temperamental devil who wouldn’t mind killing him and be stupid enough to think I could fight my way out of the city.

I looked at the convulsing Marsh Orc, with all his bones, muscles, and organs broken or punctured in multiple places, barely alive thanks to his title demon core. After I had hit him twice as many times and twice as hard as he had hit me, I fed him a calamity daughter gem. Instead of taking his permit, I believed it would be easier for me if he were to guide me into the volcano.

As soon as I fed the calamity daughter gem to the Marsh Orc, his body twisted and turned as it healed back to its original form, standing back on its feet. He then bowed to me, greeting me, “Machan Marsh greets, Master.”

“Machan?” An involuntary smile formed on my face as I repeated the name and looked at the Marsh Orc before me.

“Lead me to the heart of the Pandemonium volcano,” I ordered Machan, retrieving my ice domain.

“Master, I do not have the authority to get you the permit to enter the mines. But if you don’t mind changing your appearance to that of one of the VIPs I’m assigned to show around the mines—”

“Let’s go,” I cut off Machan, understanding what he was getting at.

Soon, we returned to the room. It wasn’t locked. Machan knocked before opening the door, yelling at the Ash Goblin staff, “Go activate the array!”

I walked into the room and immediately shot three calamity daughter gems at three VIPs from the Halfling tribe. The strongest of them was peak demon emperor rank and didn’t even register my actions before they turned into my daughter gems.

Then I had one of the Halflings use the myriad devil transformation to turn into me while I turned into it, exchanging our permits. Sending the Halfling that had turned into me to wait for us with Cuth Diya, the other Halflings and I followed Machan out of the hotel and into the mines.

After a few more security checks at the mine entrance, we finally made it into the mine without much of a hiccup. After the demonstration by the slaves on the mining process, Machan dispersed them, taking us deeper into the mine.

“Master, this is as far as our permit will allow us to go into the mines. Any further, and we will be out of the barrier’s surveillance, and it will immediately send our last known location to the city authorities to make arrangements to have someone check on us,” Machan explained as he shared a detailed map of all the mines, all of which led into a huge, unmarked area. It was the center of the volcano, where only the Devil Mammon and a select few people were allowed.

“Okay, you take my clone and leave here. I will handle the rest,” I said as I threw a pseudo calamity soul gem into the part of the mine not under the barrier’s surveillance.

Then, I gave my current body to one of my primordial spirits, turning it into my perfect clone, while my consciousness transferred to the pseudo calamity soul gem in the part of the mine not under the barrier’s surveillance. As such, I managed to enter the part of the mine not under the barrier’s surveillance without triggering the barrier.

Sending off the group, I walked deeper into the mines. From here on, I was all on my own. I used my soul pupils to trace the veins of the volcano and find the one directly leading to its center, where its heart was.

I used a myriad devil transformation to turn into Maworm and began to burrow into the volcano, heading toward its heart. Maworm was not only excellent at burrowing, but it also had very high resistance to elements, especially lava.

Following the vein, I cautiously rushed toward the center, making sure I didn’t disturb the habitat enough to affect the natural array formation surrounding the heart of the Pandemonium volcano.

As I neared the center, I noticed something peculiar. There were multiple passages leading into the center of the volcano from underground. They stemmed from deep within the Dark Realm’s crust, extending several hundred miles into the volcano. They didn’t seem natural, nor were they organized enough to be artificially made. They were haphazard, as if something from within the bowels of the Dark Realm had burrowed its way out. Seeing how they all led to the center of the volcano, I believed whatever had made these tunnels wasn’t trying to surface, but was aiming for the heart of the volcano.
