Chapter 659: New Stats
Chapter 659: New Stats
Asher could be seen standing within his room, gazing through the window as he stared at the residents of the Wargrave Ducal territory as they chatted happily at the return of the Duke and the Wargrave Elders, their joy evident in their carefree expressions and lively movements.
’It seems as I’ve guessed, no battle occurred,’ Asher thought to himself as he stood in the silence of his room, completely oblivious to the fact that his family members had stormed the Imperial family and razed it to the ground almost without leaving anything behind.
’It seems even elder brother’s obsession can’t affect the Emperor,’ he thought to himself with a sigh, then turned away from the window in mild disappointment.
In truth, he had wanted a battle to occur, as he desired to test himself against some Imperial Knights; after all, since his transmigration, he had mostly been fighting assassins, monsters, and beasts, rarely encountering opponents of true prestige.
With another sigh of disappointment, he began to take off his breastplate, greaves, and vambraces, each of them vanishing into his system inventory as he sat down in silence, his expression calm yet contemplative. Personally, he wanted to seek out Malrik and ask what was happening, or rather, what had already transpired.
But he didn’t go around looking for him; although Asher hadn’t left his room even briefly, he could faintly sense an existing tension in the air that seemed to permeate the entire Wargrave Estate, subtle yet undeniable, as though something significant had occurred beneath the surface.
’Well, since I have nothing to do, I might as well just check my status screen. I haven’t had the time to check since I woke up; things have been a bit hectic,’ he thought to himself, and with a mere thought, he called up the system panel before him.

Asher was completely speechless as he stared at his stats, utterly stunned as awe washed over him. At first, when he had broken through to the Dust Swiftstar Life Rank, he hadn’t bothered to check his stats, simply because he had been focused on training, and as a result, he had entirely forgotten about it.
The first set of digital parameters represented his stats when he was at the Radiant Blazestar Life Rank, while the middle set reflected his stats when he had broken through to the Dust Swiftstar Life Rank.
’Everything literally doubled,’ Asher sat in stunned disbelief as he struggled to fully comprehend what he was seeing, the increase far beyond what he had anticipated. ’Is the difference between the Swiftstar Life Rank and those above it truly that ridiculous compared to those below?’ Asher couldn’t help but question himself internally.
’I never knew I was this strong... damn,’ Asher thought to himself, still processing the overwhelming surge in his capabilities. With his Absolute Physique, Asher never needed to adjust to his immense increase in strength when he stepped into such a Major Life Rank; everything simply felt natural, as though his body had always been meant to operate at this level.
’Aside from strength and agility, which were already absurd, vitality and perception alone are utterly broken. At this rate, won’t I live up to two thousand years?’ Asher wondered silently, his thoughts racing as he considered the implications of such stats.
The final set of stat parameters were those gained from his breakthrough through his Limitless Physical Growth ability. Although the stats did not double as they had when he advanced to the Swiftstar Life Rank, the increase was still enormous in every conceivable sense.
Asher knew that at this level, even a single stat point was immensely valuable; a single point at this stage could not be compared to a single point at the lower levels he had once been accustomed to.
’They all increased by over a hundred points,’ Asher thought to himself, his gaze fixed on the system screen before him. His thoughts drifted back to the times he had broken through various Major Life Ranks and sub-Life Ranks, but back then, he had only gained a mere ten or so points, even with his Limitless Physical Growth ability enhancing his gains.
But now... the difference was undeniable.
Asher couldn’t help but raise his hands, his eyes shifting away from the system panel as he examined them closely. ’I wonder how strong I am now,’ Asher thought to himself. He didn’t feel any overwhelming surge of magical or physical power coursing through him; instead, he felt completely normal, just as he always had. But deep down, he knew that if he were to fight Debro again, he could handle the battle with far less difficulty than before.
’No wonder I was even able to fight Debro,’ Asher thought to himself, his gaze returning to the system screen.
’I wonder if I can now fight a Dust Wavestar or even higher at my base power without any augmentation,’ Asher pondered briefly before shaking his head. It was best not to grow arrogant, though the desire to test his limits was undeniably tempting.
But Asher understood that if others within Crymora possessed a system that displayed their stats, the changes he had experienced would not be the same for them. After all, one of the primary reasons he was this extraordinary was due to his Absolute Physique, as well as his Wargrave Bloodline.
’Almost a thousand points in vitality,’ Asher thought to himself. ’I wonder... will there be any qualitative changes when it gets to a thousand?’ His eyes narrowed slightly at the thought, but unfortunately, there was no one to answer his question, not even the system itself.
’Also, my perception is almost at nine hundred points. Since every point equals a meter in Omni Perception radius, my Omni Perception range should be eight hundred and thirty meters. Soon, I will reach a full kilometre,’ he concluded internally.
With that, he closed his eyes and allowed his Omni Perception to expand outward, and the moment it reached 830 meters, it came to a halt, just shy of a full kilometre. Asher couldn’t help but smile slightly, genuinely enjoying the progress he was making, the steady growth fueling his ambition.
’No wonder people love getting stronger... this is addictive,’ Asher mused quietly to himself.
Asher’s eyes shifted toward other aspects of the system now that he was done inspecting his stats. His gaze fell upon the title section, where a new title had appeared.
Asher couldn’t help but arch an eyebrow. According to his understanding, the system only acknowledged a title when enough people believed or recognized him as worthy of it. Seeing the new title, he couldn’t help but wonder which individuals believed he was the most talented Wargrave in the history of the Wargrave lineage.
But unknown to Asher, Malrik was the one who had come to this conclusion, and due to Malrik’s acknowledgment, the system was compelled to recognize it as a legitimate title. After all, Malrik himself had once held that very title before the emergence of Asher... or rather, before the existence of Ethan, making his recognition carry far greater weight than that of ordinary individuals.
