Tiana stepped closer to Shinji, who had just risen from where he sat. Her mood now was different from the cheerful greeting she’d given him earlier. A soft, alluring smile curved on her lips, and without waiting for permission, she lowered herself gently onto the edge of the bed.
Her blue dress, with the same bold slits, remained unchanged. But this time, without the white long pants she usually wore, her bare legs were fully visible. Despite her petite frame, she pressed her chest forward confidently, her full curves noticeable as she locked eyes with him.
”Forgive me,” Tiana said, brushing her hair behind one ear as she chuckled softly. “Hehe, I sat down without waiting for your reply. I meant to thank you, but I ended up being rude.”
”No, it’s not your fault,” Shinji replied, shaking his head with a calm tone. “It was me who didn’t answer properly. You’ve already thanked me more than enough. I understand your feelings clearly.”
As she shifted her position slightly, her chest moved with the motion, drawing attention in an almost intentional way. Shinji noticed it and understood that Tiana was aware of how her gestures and expressions often caught the eyes of men. He kept a polite distance, careful not to let his guard down.
Tiana, sensing his hesitance, smiled faintly, understanding the reason. The idea of giving thanks could be seen as something deeper—something suggestive. She understood that Shinji was cautious of that implication. But even knowing this, she couldn’t just back away. There was a reason she had come here tonight.
Earlier, after finishing their talks with the goddesses—Luluane and her disciple had completed preparations for Shinji’s tent. Right then, they received a divine message from Goddess Padra. The secret discussion was about how they had uncovered and stopped the hidden schemes of the fallen goddess Satin, something not mentioned during their main talks.
With the added report from Goddess Arian, along with their earlier findings connected to the forbidden truth known as “Taboo,” Goddess Padra had shared her opinion with Luluane and the others. ’Hehe… then I won’t just try to use him,’ Tiana replied with a smile, bowing her head. ‘I’ll ask him directly for guidance. Thank you for this precious opportunity. I’ll learn with full care.’
’Good,’ Padra said in reply. ‘And if things go bad, don’t hesitate to use him as your shield! Arian’s disciple is less important to me than you are.’
’Goddess, that’s too much…’ Luluane said with a worried look, though her smile showed that she understood the affection behind the harsh words.
To Luluane, Goddess Padra was a master worth serving—someone who explained the world to her, who gave guidance and trust. For that reason, Luluane had chosen to live in a way that would make her goddess proud.
’Leave it to me,’ she said firmly. ‘I might not be strong, but I will use Shinji-san’s help, and with a dependable disciple beside me, I’ll complete our mission.’
Luluane’s determined words inspired the others. Her trust in her master was deep. When she passed her thoughts to Tiana, the girl nodded with a big smile, answering with bright energy, ready to give her best tomorrow too.

So, how could they stop Shinji from pulling away from Goddess Padra’s group? How could they encourage him to give his full effort? That thought led to Tiana’s decision tonight.
(Master wouldn’t approve… She’d definitely get angry if she found out… I didn’t help him so he could use me like that. But still, this is the best way.)

Wearing the mask of a devoted companion, Tiana didn’t step back. She looked up at Shinji with a soft, upward gaze.
”You must have your own thoughts,” she said quietly, her voice wrapped in kindness. “The goddess explained everything, but it was so sudden for you. You were forced to accept it, even though you didn’t fully understand… and my Master too…”
”I won’t lie,” Shinji said, glancing toward her. “I do have some thoughts. But I don’t plan to give less than I should.”
What she didn’t say out loud was that she had no plans to hold back either. She intended to give everything—so that he would, too.
”I just want to ease some of the worry I feel,” she whispered.
”If Luluane-san finds out, won’t it be a problem?” Shinji asked, his brow furrowing slightly. “We only just met, but I’m sure she wouldn’t be happy about this.”
”You’re right,” Tiana said with a soft smile. “She’d definitely be mad. That’s why… this must stay a secret. Just between us♡.”
”Then maybe you shouldn’t do it,” Shinji said, sighing slightly.
Tiana touched her index finger to her lips and winked playfully. Then, closing the space between them, she reached a breath’s distance from him.
Though he warned her, Shinji noticed the strong will in her eyes. Her devotion to her Master was real, even if her method was questionable. Her courage in taking this risk for someone she respected made him soften just a little.
”I understand,” he said at last, his smile thin but sincere. “If you’re going that far… then I’ll let you take this burden from me.”
It was her deep love for her master that had brought her here, without thought for herself. And it was that same fierce loyalty that sparked a certain excitement in Shinji. He didn’t expect this work in another world to be boring anymore.
Watching them in secret, Freri also seemed to feel the same.
But Tiana, unaware that both Shinji and Freri had taken a new interest in her, simply felt satisfied. She believed her plan had worked. With a proud smile that she tried to keep modest, she leaned in close.
”Yes♡ Please allow me to serve you,” she whispered sweetly. “My name is Tiana… I’m at your service, Apostle-sama♡.”
Then, like a lover sharing a tender promise, she pressed a light kiss to his lips.
