Chapter 1879 Meeting (1)
Chapter 1879 Meeting (1)
Following the traces that had been left behind as he soon enough found himself inside the Frozen Wastelands, it didn't take long for him to realize that the location of the ancient dao seal inside the Frozen Wastelands was nowhere the Star Shattering Sect's borders with the Frozen Wastelands. Instead, he found himself moving in the direction of the border region where the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wastelands were clashing with the Blue Sea Empire.
One of the few areas within the current Frozen Wastelands that held a rather significant concentration of demonic cultivators at the Demon King Realm and Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire.
To put it into more simple terms, it was potentially the worst possible location for the fourth ancient dao seal to appear, as it would be difficult to hide any potential disturbances caused by repairing the ancient dao seal.
And although he didn't doubt the strength of the two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago after seeing the terrifying speed at which the three other ancient dao seals had been repaired, he understood that it was difficult for them to do any repairs if they also had to fend off demonic cultivators at the same time.
Not to mention, if something really did end up happening, the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire would also end up being drawn over…
Whoosh~
Feeling worried as these thoughts coursed through his mind, Xuan Hao finally found himself stepping out above a large mysterious looking crack on the ground that at first glance looked no different from how he remembered it, but as he used his divine sense to sweep through the place in search of the two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago, he quickly discovered that there was some kind of concealment formation in place. Making it clear that what he was currently seeing wasn't the actual situation of the crack that hid the final ancient dao seal.
From the looks of things, the two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago had also realized that they needed to conceal themselves while repairing the seal, something that did make him feel a bit more relieved, as he didn't have to worry about a large number of Demon King Realm demonic cultivators showing up to cause trouble.
The only negative being that he wouldn't be able to see what was happening inside nor even meet the two from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago, as though he was more than strong enough to break through the concealment formation that had been set up through force, doing so would undoubtedly expose whatever was happening on the other side of that formation to the outside world.
Because of this, even though he felt a bit uncomfortable just waiting around in the snow outside, he understood that this was for the best, as he would be able to easily catch up with the two after they had finished repairing the final ancient dao seal.
While hopefully also leaving this place before any demonic cultivators ended up noticing their presence.
In the end, the entire repairs for this final ancient dao seal ended up taking far longer than he had originally expected it to, as it was only after 10 minutes that he sensed the faint spatial fluctuations from the other side of the concealment formation as the mysterious crack seemingly disappeared into thin air the next second to some other unknown location.
He could have stopped the two from leaving forcibly with his superior mastery of the Dao of Space but decided against doing so before they were outside the Frozen Wastelands, as he had no intention of having an in-depth conversation in a place with countless powerful demonic cultivators lurking around them. Instead of that, continuing to follow them secretly for now was a far better option.
As for the strength of the two… With how close he was, it wasn't too difficult for him to tell. One of them had reached the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm, while the other had reached the Land Creation Realm.
From a clear glance, the one at the Land Creation Realm should be the one that had mastered the Dao of Space all the way to the Large Success Realm and therefore the greatest threat, but funnily enough, he sensed the greatest threat from the one at the Breaking Dawn Realm. Making it almost certain in his eyes that this seemingly harmless fellow who had barely stepped into the Profound Immortal Realm was the Formation Master.
After all, only this would explain the sense of dread he felt when locking on to this seemingly harmless fellow being carried off by the Land Creation Realm cultivator.
As for how this seemingly harmless figure posed a threat to someone like himself who didn't really fear someone in the Land Creation Realm? That could either be because that person was carrying some kind of terrifying defensive artifact or formation master were far more terrifying than he could imagine after reaching a certain realm.
Normally, the first choice would have been the most obvious, but with how terrifyingly fast the other party had been when it came to repairing the ancient dao seals, he leaned towards it being the latter.
With that in mind, he had to be far more cautious with his approach of these two people, as although he had come off on friendly terms with the old man in the past, he had no idea about how these two would react on their first meeting.
At first, he had wanted to rely on his powerful cultivation realm to ensure things didn't get out of control and everyone remained relatively calm without any unnecessary aggression, but with the strength of the two exceeding expectations, he had to be far more careful.
More importantly, he might have to reconsider forcibly dragging them out while they were travelling, as that could end up being seen as a hostile action and result in a battle before he even had a chance to explain himself, something he didn't wish to see happening, but… He didn't really have any other way of meeting these two if they continued shuttling through space all the way off the Ewaria Continent. Placing him in a position where any decision he made seemed bad...
