Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1884 The New City (1)

Chapter 1884  The New City (1)

Returning to the Star Shattering Sect without encountering any problems along the way, Xuan Hao soon enough found himself quietly sitting inside his cultivation room with a thoughtful expression on his face. Deep in thought regarding what to do next, given how his main worry for the foreseeable future had seemingly been resolved before he even had a chance to try and fix the ancient dao seals.

However, these thoughts didn't last for long as he soon enough pulled out another vial of Stardusk Essence and swallowed it before focusing his attention back on expanding his spiritual sea.

Even if the immediate problem had been solved, the ancient dao seals wouldn't last forever, and he would inevitably have to face the being sealed by them given the sect being located right next to the ancient dao seals themselves. Moving the sect wasn't exactly an option, as that would essentially ruin the sect's foundation, while at the same time likely also drawing far more attention than anything he or the sect had done in the past.

At the end of the day, increasing his strength was the only way to ensure the sect could survive what was to come and the only real way he had to rapidly increase his strength was by consuming the Stardusk Essence to grow his spiritual sea. After his spiritual sea started showing signs of instability and unrest, he would have to either find a place where it would be easier for him to comprehend the Dao or find a way to hopefully trigger another mission from system, as it seemed to have been lagging behind with his disciples mostly taking care of themselves now they were older.

The only real way he had to get his system to help him further increase his strength was by helping his disciples breakthrough a major realm or finding some other unique way to help increase their strength and foundation, as just normal teaching didn't have much effect on them now that all of them had at least broken through to the Domain Lord Realm.

So, for now, the only real focus he had when it came to the system was completing the main sect quest, he was now only a single step away from completing…

[Main Sect Quest: First Steps towards Becoming a Major Power (I)] [Description: The sect has entered a state of rapid growth and is about to finally step onto the main stage of the Ewaria Continent. Help the sect reach the requirements to become a major power on the Ewaria Continent.] [Core Formation Realm Disciples: 10.372/10.000 (Complete)] [Nascent Soul Realm Disciples: 77/100] [Domain Lord Realm Disciples: 6/10] [Soul Ascension Realm Elders: 83/100] [Dao Seed Realm Elders: 10/10 (Complete)] [Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor: 1/1 (Complete)] [Reward: World Stone (Immortal), Chaotic Qi Formation Upgrade, ???] [Note: Does not count host as part of the requirements] After the spiritual water flood that had swept through the sect following his lovely little disciple's work with one of the qi springs at the center of the qi spring lake, the number of Core Formation Realm disciples had exploded. Exceeding the requirements that had been set by the quest.

However, outside of lucky disciples breaking through to the Core Formation Realm shortly after or during the spiritual water flood, a few Core Formation Realm disciples also managed to jump on the opportunity and solidify their foundations before taking the chance to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

But maybe most surprisingly was the fact that two guest elders, who had been at the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm, had managed to similarly take advantage of the situation to cross the threshold and step into the Soul Ascension Realm.

Of course, with the terrifying power of the tribulation that came along with reaching the Soul Ascension Realm, Feng Chen had to step in and rely on the chaotic qi formation to ensure that there wasn't any damage to the sect caused by their breakthrough.

In fact, because of the chances of the Soul Ascension Realm Elders that had been recruited into the sect breaking through was far from low, a small, isolated area had been dedicated for them to breakthrough on the Fourth Star Peak that had been left alone by the sect so far. Sealing off the peak from the rest of the sect with the help of the chaotic qi formation.

In a sense, those two wouldn't originally have needed Feng Chen to cover for them, as they could have gone to the Fourth Star Peak to break through to the Soul Ascension Realm.

Unfortunately for them, the breakthrough to the Soul Ascension Realm had been entirely unexpected and wasn't something either of them had expected, as they had ended up breaking through due to emotional turmoil after seeing their homes being caried off by the spiritual water flood that they had been far too weak to stop.

Thinking about these two who had no idea if they should feel thankful towards his disciple for helping them breakthrough to the Soul Ascension Realm and overcome the first tribulation or angry for destroying their homes, Xuan Hao could not help silently chuckling to himself as he continued to keep a majority of his focus on expanding his spiritual sea, something that no longer required his entire attention.

Of course, this didn't last for long, as keeping his entire focus on the expansion of his spiritual sea would ultimately increase the speed at which his spiritual sea expanded.

So, soon enough, Xuan Hao found himself fully absorbed in expanding his spiritual sea once again. Paying little attention to the outside world, as the Star Shattering Sect officially managed to fully recover from the spiritual water flood his disciple had ended up causing not long ago. Allowing Elder Song and the rest of the sect's elders who had originally split their attention between the rebuilding process and the construction of the new city at the base of the Third Star Peak, to focus their full attention on ensuring the rapid construction and official opening of the new city.
