Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1898 7 Years (3)

Chapter 1898  7 Years (3)

Outside of Elder Song's crackdown on wandering cultivators scamming the sect's disciple the third year since the establishment of Bright Stone City, several new talented disciples began emerging through the sect, as the first few disciples that weren't one of Xuan Hao's disciples broke through to the Domain Lord Realm with even more reaching the Nascent Soul Realm. Allowing Xuan Hao to successfully complete the Nascent Soul and Domain Lord Realm disciple part of the main sect quest. Leaving only the section for Soul Ascension Realm Elders to be completed.

Even if there had been no progress in this specific section because of how far most of the sect's Domain Lord Realm Elders were from reaching the Soul Ascension Realm, it was only a matter of time before the first few began to break through to the Soul Ascension Realm. Especially so with the assistance of the sect's abundant resources and the direct guidance from those who had already reached the Soul Ascension Realm and Dao Seed Realm cultivators like Pei Yang.

So far, the closest one to reaching the Soul Ascension Realm among the sect's original elders was none other than Shu Yao, the former sect master of the Spring Flower Sect, who was now at the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Only a single step away from reaching the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm with the potential to reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in another two years. After which she would be able to officially get ready to break through to the Soul Ascension Realm, something that Xuan Hao was already getting excited about, as it wouldn't be long before others would follow in her steps and similarly break through to the Soul Ascension Realm.

The current situation was essentially just waiting for those original elders to break through and when the first broke through to the Soul Ascension Realm, it would soon be followed by countless others following closely behind.

The only worry he had regarding so many elders breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm and the fact that there would only be more members of the sect breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm in the future, was the fact that the sect didn't have any exclusive location inside the sect for those in the Domain Lord Realm to breakthrough to the Soul Ascension Realm or those already at the Soul Ascension Realm to take on their next tribulation.

The only way that the sect dealt with that situation for now was by isolating them from the rest of the sect in a remote location inside the Shattered Star Peaks with the help of the chaotic qi formation.

But… That kind of isolation was reaching its limits, as Feng Chen had already informed him about several times when some of the sect's Soul Ascension Realm cultivators had to wait in line to break through as he was busy using the chaotic qi formation to help someone else break through.

Although he wanted to do something about it. Creating a space for those in the Soul Ascension Realm to break through was completely different from creating a space for someone in the Nascent Soul Realm and the Domain Lord Realm to break through.

Even with his comprehension of the Dao of Formations having reached the Perfection Realm and broken through to the Saint Realm, there was no way for him to do so. Even those different major powers at the core of the continent like the Blue Sea Empire were no different, as their Soul Ascension Realm cultivators also had to find somewhere isolated to breakthrough or progress through the Soul Ascension Realm.

In that sense, the Star Shattering Sect was still considered somewhat better, as those Soul Ascension Realm cultivators could remain inside the Shattered Star Peaks under the Star Shattering Sect's protection while breaking through.

At least, for now, the situation was still manageable, but in the future, he would need to find a way to solve this problem.

One solution that had already popped up in his mind was to create a secret realm specifically for those Soul Ascension Realm cultivators to break through, but… The resources required to create a secret realm capable of withstanding the continuous bombardment of tribulation lightning from Soul Ascension Realm cultivators wasn't something he could afford even with all the resources that the Star Shattering Sect had managed to gather.

Another solution could be to just use a mystic realm or an abandoned secret realm powerful enough to handle the tribulation lightning. Unfortunately, the latter was essentially nonexistent among the secret realms he knew about, while the mystic realm he had encountered in the past didn't exactly allow the presence of someone in the Soul Ascension Realm and was unstable in its own way

The final solution he could think about was that the reward from completing the main sect quest would be helpful in solving this problem. Not the question mark part being exactly what he needs, but more so the world stone that had been mentioned being something he might be able to use in the construction of a secret realm strong enough to serve as a special location for those in the Soul Ascension Realm to undergo their tribulations.

Along with these somewhat hopeful thoughts regarding the reward from the system, Xuan Hao continued his secluded cultivation without interacting much with the overall development of the sect. Leaving everything for Elder Song and Feng Chen, as the two of them had more than enough qualifications to handle the situation on their own.

Even if they encountered a troublesome situation, there were other powerful elders like Pei Yang, Qin Hao or Zhao Ling, who would be able to help them out, his presence wasn't exactly needed for the day-to-day operations of the sect. Allowing him to seclude himself and focus on strengthening his foundation by slowly deepening his comprehension of the different Daos he had comprehended over the years. Only really coming out every few weeks to teach his disciples.

Speaking of which, though Qing Yi, Chu Yang and even Chun Hua did come to him for help every now and again, the ones he ended up spending the most time with over the past three years was none other than Bai Ning and Mui.

The latter came to him in the hope that he would help her get her hands on more resources and get Elder Song's approval for something she wanted to create, while the latter came to him to discuss the Dao of Blacksmithing. After all, even with Gong Cheng, a Saint Realm Blacksmith around, everyone's path was different, and Bai Ning wanted to deepen his insight into the Dao of Blacksmithing by learning from as many people as possible.

In a way, because of this enthusiasm regarding the Dao of Blacksmithing, he not only came to him and other elders following the Dao of Blacksmithing but even went to discuss the Dao of Blacksmithing with the younger disciples of the Blacksmithing Hall, causing him to turn into a rather famous senior brother among the sect's younger generation of blacksmiths.

Of course, famous as he was, it was still nowhere near comparable to Mui, as she remained the most famous of his disciples. Standing out more than even Elder Song in some cases when the trouble she caused ended up causing enough of a stir.

Like this, time inside the Star Shattering Sect continued to peacefully flow uninterrupted by the chaos spreading throughout the surrounding kingdoms and empires as the conflict between the major powers in the Northern Core Region and the demonic cultivators from the Frozen Wastelands became more chaotic.

From the original three years since the establishment of Bright Stone City, this peace continued for another four years before a change that finally affected the Star Shattering Sect and its territory took place… And that change was none other than the fall of two cultivators at the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm from the Blue Sea Empire who had been holding the line at the different kingdoms and empires serving as buffer between the Frozen Wastelands and the Blue Sea Empire itself.

Not that the Blue Sea Empire had remained entirely unaffected by the war so far, but the impact to the Blue Sea Empire had been relatively limited even with Xuan Gui causing chaos internally.

But now that the Blue Sea Empire directly ended up losing two ancestor level figures at the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm, the battle that had remained at a relative standstill shifted entirely into the favor of the demonic cultivators. Allowing them to rapidly push past the different kingdoms and empires that the Blue Sea Empire had been using as a buffer between themselves and the Frozen Wasteland.

The problem wasn't so much that the Blue Sea Empire lacked powerful cultivators able to take the place of those two fallen Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators, but more so the fact that they lacked cultivators at the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.

While they could send someone above the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm to hold down the fort and reestablish a defensive line. Doing that would escalate the conflict and in turn cause those in control of the Frozen Wasteland to send out equally powerful demonic cultivators in turn, something that the Blue Sea Empire wanted to avoid.

Because of this, even as the demonic cultivators continued pushing forward and steamrolled what had previously been well established defensive lines, the Blue Sea Empire remained inactive. Pondering over what decision to make…
