Continuing to try and examine the internal state of the Ancestor from the Wei Empire for a bit longer to try and see if he could potentially find any clues as to how the other party might be able to ascend to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm in the future, Xuan Hao was ultimately left completely helpless, as from what he knew about the Land Creation Realm, the only way for the Ancestor of the Wei Empire to take another step forward and reach the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm would be for him to massively expand his spiritual sea while also comprehending a Dao to the Origin Realm.

Originally, a Dao reaching the Origin Realm was difficult enough along with the integration of it into the landmass, but the challenge that stood in front of the Ancestor from the Wei Empire in the form of expanding his spiritual sea to accommodate the land that existed within his dantian was by far the most difficult challenge of the two. After all, a single wrong step might result in the balance that existed within his dantian breaking. In which case, only death awaited him.

In other words, Xuan Hao honestly didn't see much hope of the Ancestor from the Wei Empire ever reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Still… This didn't matter much to him, as he had never really intended on doing everything in his power to help the Ancestor of the Wei Empire. The only reason for what he did was because he had wanted to keep up the illusion of him being someone in the Star Creation Realm that had ended up being created by accident during his encounter with the Blood Sea Demon King, while at the same time also wanting to take advantage of the situation to learn more about the Land Creation Realm.

After all, from the interaction he had with the Ancestor of the Wei Empire, it had become clear to him that the Land Creation Realm of this senior was different from his own. Not so much when it came to fundamental strength so to speak, but certainly when it came to the foundation itself, something that was clear from how the other party was stuck at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm without any hope of advancing to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm in the future.

Of course, now that he already had a general idea of the state that the Ancestor of the Wei Empire found himself in, Xuan Hao retracted his divine sense from the other party's dantian before starting to methodically explain his own understanding of the Land Creation Realm and what was needed to reach the Land Creation Realm.

In the process, he decided not to directly inform the Ancestor of the Wei Empire about his abysmal chances of making any progress towards reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm and just explained to him the principle and requirements for reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation, while reminding him about the importance of his spiritual sea.

In the end, the Ancestor of the Wei Empire ended up leaving with a thankful smile on his face. Having now at least found a clear path to reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Even if the path was dangerous and difficult, it was at least far better than what he had before where he was just blindly walking forward trying to move along what he believed to be the correct path.

Unfortunately for him, the path he had chosen had been to continue growing the land within his dantian, something that had only made it more difficult for him to safely reach the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm, though he himself didn't yet realize this, though he undoubtedly would whenever he comprehended a Dao to the Origin Realm, as the danger would then become difficult to miss.

Shaking his head as he thought about the difficult path that the Ancestor of the Wei Empire would have to take to advance beyond the Middle stage of the Land Creation Realm in the future, Xuan Hao soon enough shifted his attention away from the disappearing figure of the Ancestor of the Wei Empire towards a small interspatial ring that the other party had handed to him as payment before leaving.

Even though the other party hadn't stated clearly what was inside the interspatial ring, it had been clear that it should be something valuable from how he had referred to it as payment for the guidance he received.

Not to mention, he doubted the other party would give him an empty interspatial ring, as he should still be under the belief that he was someone in the Star Creation Realm… And he doubted that someone like the Ancestor of the Wei Empire would willingly turn someone like himself into an enemy.

With this thought in mind, Xuan Hao casually used his divine sense to inspect the content of the interspatial ring before ultimately pulling out what looked like a small map of sorts.

Originally expecting it to be some kind of treasure map pointing to some mysterious treasure ground or something similar, Xuan Hao found himself pausing slightly as he glanced over the content of presumed treasure map.

This is… A formation rune? And one far beyond the Third Heaven of the Saint Realm in terms of difficulty…

Narrowing his eyes as he realized that it wasn't some kind of treasure map, but instead a blueprint for what could only be considered a formation symbol far more complicated than any formation symbols he had encountered so far–or at least had the opportunity to examine directly without anything obscuring the inner workings of the formation symbols.

Even if the formation symbol itself far exceeded anything he could understand with his current comprehension of the Dao of Formations, let alone create to see what the purpose of this formation symbol was, it was still extremely useful for helping his own comprehension of the Dao of Formations.

No… Not just his own comprehension of the Dao of Formations, but it would likely also be extremely useful to the formation masters of the sect. Potentially helping the sect gain a Saint Realm formation master that didn't include himself who had given up on pursuing the path of formations wholeheartedly.

Indeed, the payment given by the Ancestor of the Wei Empire wasn't to be underestimated, as it was indeed something valuable that would be immensely useful to the current Star Shattering Sect that still had a rather significant lack of formation master compared to skilled blacksmiths and alchemists.

The reason why the payment had come in the form of this unique ancient formation symbol likely didn't just have to do with it being precious, but also the fact that he was someone from an ancient hidden sect in the eyes of the Ancestor from the Wei Empire.

With that kind of identity, there would be little that could garner his attention and things like normal spiritual herbs or other more common things wouldn't be enough to catch his eye. Ultimately leading to this ancient formation symbol being chosen by the other party, as though he had no idea about whether he was interested in the Dao of Formations or not, he had guessed that he would still find the ancient formation symbol interesting.

Knowing this, Xuan Hao could not help smiling with interest as he put the ancient formation symbol away before examining his surroundings. Not taking more than a few seconds to discover several figures observing him from afar, likely people belonging to the different major powers who had shown up to observe the earlier battle.

Without a doubt, there had been similar groups of people gathered at the other two battlefields where the fate of the Land Creation Realm cultivators had been less fortunate. Meaning that news of what had ended up happening would soon spread throughout the Northern Central Region and with time, would reach the Southern Central Region.

Although news of someone above the Land Creation Realm emerging outside the Southern Central Region would draw some attention, he predicted that it wouldn't be anything troublesome for the Star Shattering Sect considering that the sect was a hidden ancient sect in the eyes of the world and should be able to continue operating normally as long as the sect continued to be viewed that way.

Not just that, but with news of what happened spreading, it would ultimately place the Star Shattering Sect in a dominant position and place it at the very top of the Northern Central Region in the future, as no other major that existed within the Northern Central Region had someone in the Star Creation Realm.

The only exception to this being the other hidden ancient sect that existed in the Northern Central Region, but that hidden ancient sect's strength was unknown and didn't interfere with what happened outside the small territory under its control.
